        주말리그제 도입에 따른 고교야구선수들의 수업현황 및 인식조사

        The baseball school weekend sports leagues were adapted in 2011 for the purpose of the increasing the rates of class participations and providing adequate school works such as class activities, social relationships with other students, and so on. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to compare and contrast the school participation rates and students" perception of the weekend leagues" before and after. The subjects for this research were recruited from 12th grades and freshmen in a few colleges who joined to the Korea Baseball Organization. Initially, the total of 200 students participated to the questionnaire survey, however, the 182 surveys out of 200 were analysed due to the mis-filling out or mis-understanding of the questions. Also an interview processes were conducted with 5 students using open ended questionnaires. The results for the study were that after the weekend league introduced, 1) the rates of class participation were somewhat increased after the weekend league due to encouragement of the parents and coaches, 2) mostly, they were not able to make up their studies once they had not attended classes due to the practices, which meant that some schools did not encourage the students attend the classes if they had a important competitions, 3) teachers" cares and concerns were increased to the student players, and 4) also the parents and coaches encouraged the players" school GPA.
