劉國松現代水墨畵的探索是開拓性的, 他以具有實驗性的“畵若布?”反對傳統文人畵的臨摹觀, 幷推進中國畵工具、材料傳統及觀念的革新, 解構傳統的筆墨觀。 劉國松創立的現代水墨畵試圖在超越文人畵, 消解文人畵傳統的影響。 同時, 受現代抽象藝術的啓發, 劉國松創造了新的現代水墨語言體系, 建構了與文人畵的歷史和體系幷立的新傳統, 涵盖了從圖式系統到其背后的思想觀念。 應該說, 劉國松堅持文化本位, 兼容中國古典?畵與西方現代藝術的觀念, 開啓了一條新的中國畵之路。 Liu Guosong's exploration of modern ink paintings is pioneering. He against the copying of traditional literati paintings by the experimental‘ paintings as buyi’,and promote the innovation of Chinese ink painting’s tool, material, tradition and concept. Liu Guosong deconstructed traditional idea of brush and ink. Modern Chinese ink paintings attempted to beyond the literati paintings and dispel the influence of literati paintings tradition. Simultaneously, inspired by modern abstract art, Liu Guosong created a new modern ink language system and the new tradition exist side by side with the history and system of literati paintings. The new tradition covered the schematic system and the idea behind it.It can be said that Liu Guosong Adhered to cultural standards and fused the idea of Chinese classical paintings and western modern art.He opened a new way of Chinese paintings.
