In this study, we investigate the flexural bonding behavior of glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) reinforced bars in a beam application. The GFRP reinforced bars were designed without end hooks. We fabricated beam specimens and subjected them to four-point bending tests. The parameter under consideration was the nominal diameter of the GFRP, with three different diameters: D13, D16, and D19. The results demonstrated a significant increase in the flexural strength of the beam when comparing D13 specimens to D16 and D19 specimens, with improvements of approximately 24.17% and 45.92%, respectively. This indicates that the strength of the specimens increases as the nominal diameter of the GFRP reinforcement increases. Notably, there was a proportional similarity in performance with respect to the nominal diameter in contrast to tensile strength.
