ThisstudywasconductedtoselectthemostaccuratemeasurementwavelengthsforCdanalysisbyexaminingthecauseandextentofinterferencesintheanalyticalvaluesforCdusing183soilsamples,standards,andcertifiedsoilsamples.InthetestforinterferenceeffectsinCdstandardsolution,theaccuraciesofmeasurementfortheCdstandardsolutionandthecertifiedreferencematerial(CRM)withhighFeconcentrationwere116~385%and110~172%at226.5and214.4nm,respectively.However,theaccuraciesat228.8?ㅤnmwere92~95%and95~98%,respectively,?ㅤwhichsatisfiedthetargetvalueofqualitycontrol.Inadilutiontestforinterferencecorrection,whenthe0.05mg/L?Cdstandardsolutionwasdiluted100times,interferencecorrectionsforFeandAswereobservedat214.4and228.8nm,butnotat226.5nm.?TheseresultssuggestthatitisnecessarytorevisethemethodforsoilpollutiontestingwithICP-AESanalysisofsoilheavymetalstoobtainreliableresultsbycompensatingforthedisadvantageoftheinterferenceeffectofCd.Therefore,CdwavelengthsshouldberevisedtocompensatefortheshortcomingsduetoCdinterferenceeffectsandobtainreliableanalysisresults.
