This paper deals with the issue of adaptive controller design for injection molding machines. Prior to controller design for the injection process and dwelling process, we derive the mathematical models of components to design the circuit. The hydraulic circuit with adaptive controller is designed and implemented using the components of commercial software SimulationX. We also simulate the robustness of the proposed controller under parameter change like nozzle clogging. The result presents that the proposed scheme confirms the efficiency and robustness.

This paper presents the motion control of a hydraulic motor-load system using Simple Adaptive Control(SAC) method. In order to find the design parameter of the transfer function for controller design, a series of experiments for open-loop response has been performed. The 3D load system has been realized and implemented for the computer simulation of overall system. The experimental results confirm that the SAC method gives good tracking performance compared to the PID control.
