Compared to its simplicity, the variations of high(low) tide interval, and tide form(diurnal, semidiurnal, and complex tide) could be explained. Non-tidal components due to meteorological effects and river discharge are also investigated in time and space. It may be the most prominent merit that it dose not make a discontinuous step at the tide zoning boundaries. Tidal correction in real time for Electronic Navigational Chart could be implemented. If TCARI is combined with high-resolution sounding data, vessel's draft and load condition, Dynamic ENC is expected possible soon. Although high density of tide stations for long-term tide(more than one year at least) is restriction condition, its feasibility is ensured.
