과체중 기혼여성의 비만실태 및 비만에 영항을 미치는 요인

The main purposes of this study are to measure the obesity level of the married women and examine the factors which have impacts on the obesity of the married women in Taegu area. This study is based on the survey data which were conducted among the married women who regarded them as fat persons from January 1, 200 to February 28, 2000. Cross tabulation analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were introduced for the purposes of this study. In the correlation analysis, it turns out that 12 out of 22 independent variables have statistically significant impacts an the obesity of the married women. However, correlation analysis does not control the influences of the other independent variables on dependent variable. Therefore, we have decided to introduce regression analysis to explore the solid influence of the independent variables on dependent variable. According to the regression analysis, the amount of abdominal fat(β=.8980), the amount of sleeping hours(β=0.1014), regular life style(β=0.1644), and fluid in cell(β =0.1321) have statistically significant positive impacts on the obesity of the married women. On the other hand, age(β=-0.4230) and regular mealtime(β=-0.2310) have statistically significant negative impacts on ,the obesity of the married women. Among the six independent variables, the amount of abdominal fat has the strongest impacts on the obesity of the married women and approximately 80 percent of the variance is explained by the six independent variables in the regression analysis. Finally, the paper is concluded with a discussion of some of the implications to solve the obesity of the married women.
