In the competitive environment of automotive stamping die manufacturing industry, the stamping die development is needed to get the impressive quality improvement and to make additional saving of cost and lead time. For above reasons, the sheet metal forming analyses by CAE were used and carried out to predict the forming troubles before field tryout. However springback analysis and subsequent forming analysis, some of those analyses, have not been applied as actively as draw die analysis because of the several indefinite forming factors such as material properties of custodial sheet metal, machining surface conditions of stamping die, drawbead holding force, FEM formulations and skill, no-good reliability and late applicable timing point in stamping die design schedule. In this paper, the basic fanning factor testes were performed at the condition of our stamping die development. And we studied how much several numerical fanning factors could have influence on springback results and subsequent forming analysis. In addition, we researched about the most suitable forming factors via comparison of experimental results with field tryout results.
Auto Section Control Module 개발 연구

At present, the paradigm of the design and manufacturing process in the manufacturing industry is being changed rapidly. Also a new 3D Tooling Process is being prepared through the positive development of new technologies, including VM, to support ONE-STOP-PROCESS in the manufacturing process. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new control module through a radical reform, including the conversion of Thinking and Method. In the end, Auto Section Control Module been developed by considering the effective user interface and the complete connection with CATIA V5. We can achieve high quality of stamping dies in the short time, and improve the manufacturing process of stamping die.
자동차금형 개발기간 단축을 위한 Spring Back Stamping 실무 해석 연구

In the current automotive stamping die development, the application of CAE has an effect on efforts to shorten stampig die development time. And in the forthcoming environment of automotive stamping die manufacturing industty, it would be needed more and more to examine causes of stamping errors in measurement by the application of more progressive and accurate CAE methods for the high quality part and the quick production stabilization in advance. For above reasons, the sheet metal forming analyses like spring back analysis, surfuce defect analysis, forming optimization and so on were developed and carried out to predict forming troubles before field tryout. Among them, spring back analysis was done to predict the spring back appearance that is the major reason of stamping error in measurement. In this paper, the study of quantitative spring back analysis was performed so we studied how much several numerical forming factors could have influence on springback results. In addition, we researched about the most suitable forming factors via comparison of experimental results and the improvement effect via the application of this result in the stamping die development.
