        High-performance computing requires high sustained instruction issue rates, a goal which can only be achieved if pipeline hazards are minimized. Among pipeline hazards, data hazards caused by load instructions have longer latency than other instructions because they combine address calculation and data cache access. Also, control hazards caused by conditional branch instructions are a major obstacle to the increasing of RISC processor performance because the issuing of instructions after branch instructions must wait until the condition is resolved. This paper proposes a hardware scheme which has a duplicated fetching logic to reduce the penalty imposed by conditional branch instructions. And we proposed a hardware scheme to eliminate the latency of load instructions, which calculates the effective address and accesses data from data cache before execute-stage of pipeline.

        폴리이미드 박막의 잔류 응력과 응력 완화 현상

        Poly(p-phenylene pyromellitimide) (PMDA-PDA)와 poly(4,4'-oxydiphenylene pyromellitimide) (PMDA-ODA)를 각각의 poly(amirs acid) 및 poly(amic diethyl ester)전구체로부터 제조하였다. 이들 박막에 대하여, Thin Film Stress Analyzer(TESA)를 이용하여 폴리이미드 박막의 잔류 음력거동은 공정온도(25-400℃) 하에서 전구체의 열적 이미드화에 따라 실시간으로 측정되었고, 수분 흡수에 따른 응력 완화 현상은 25℃와 100%상대 습도하에서 수정된 Fick's law를 적용하여 모사하였다. 또한, 전구체의 종류에 따른 모폴로지와 잔류 응력거동과 관계는 WAXD을 이용하여 조사되었다. 폴리이미드 박막의 잔류 응력은 PMDA-ODA(PAA)-PMDA-ODA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAA) 순이었고, 박막 내부로의 수분 확산 속도는PMDA-ODA(PAA)>PMDA-ODA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAA) 순이었다. 결과적으로, 폴리이미드 박막의 잔류 응력과 박막내로의 수분 흡수에 의한 응력 완화 거동은 전구체 종류와 이미드화 과정에 따른 폴리이미드의 모폴로지(사슬 강직도, 질서도, 배향도) 변화와 관련성이 있게 나타났다. 또한, 100% 습도에서 측정된 폴리이미드 박막에 대한 응력 완화 계수는 전자 미세 저울로 측정한 수분 확산도와 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. Poly(p-phenylene pyromellitimide) (PMDA-PDA) and poly(4,4'-oxydiphenylene pyromellitimide) (PMDA-ODA) films were prepared from their poly(amic acid) (PAA) and poly(amic diethyl ester) (PAE) precursors. For these thin films, residual stresses were detected in-situ during thermal imidization of the polyimide precursors as a function of processing temperature over the range 25-400 ℃ using thin film stress analyzer, whereas moisture-induced stress relaxation was simulated as a function of time in 100 % relative humidity at 25℃ by a modified Fick's law. In addition, their relationship between morphological structures and residual stress behaviors depending on precursor origins were investigated by X-ray diffraction. In comparison, the residual stress was in the increasing order PMDA-ODA(PAA)-PMDA-ODA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAA) and coefficient of water diffusion into thin films was in the increasing order PMDA-ODA(PAA)>PMDA-ODA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAE)>PMDA-PDA(PAA). Conclusively, the residual stress and the stress relaxation behaviors induced by water diffusion kinetics were strongly affected by the morphology nature (chain rigidity, chain order, orientation) depending on the precursor origins and imidization step. In addition, stress relaxation coefficients for these polyimide films measured at 100 % relative humidity show consistent trend with water diffusivity of polyimide thin films measured by electro-microbalance.

        In superscalar processors, instruction-level parallelism is exploited using a combination of aggressive techniques such as dynamic scheduling, speculative execution and register renaming. Also, they must support restarting and recovering mechanism to handle precise interrupts and mispredicted branches, and support register renaming and forwarding logic to resolve data dependencies. The most important thing in superscalar processors is the interrupt handling mechanism. There are many mechanisms to handle interrupts. The organization and performance of processors are largely influenced by methods to handle the interrupt. In dynamiccally scheduled superscalar processors using the reorder buffer, use of short live range variables may occur entirely within the reorder buffer. This paper proposes a reorder buffer scheme to reduce the hardware complexity of mechanism to handle the interrupt. And it proposes a modified register allocation algorithm that assigns short live range variables to entries in the reorder buffer.

        ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine influence of planting date, seeding rate and phosphate rate on main growth, characters, yield and chemical composition of senna from March 11, 1998 to December in Cheju Province. Days to flowering was lessened as planting date was delayed. The plant height of senna was the longest at 31 March planting (99cm) than at the other planting date. Stem diameter, number of leaves were increased at 31 March but number of branches was not affected by planting date. And number of withering leaves were increased as planting date was earlier. Fresh forage yield per lOa, for senna was the greatest (4,660kg) at 31 March planting, the second was 4,397kg at 1 April planting and the reduced the 3,473kg at 11 March planting. Also dry matter yield per lOa, crude protein yield and total digestable nutrient (TDN) yield was nearly the same tendency. Crude protein, crude fat percent was the greastest at 11 March planting and than decreased with further increased at planting date. Crude ash and crude fiber percent was decreased tendency as planting date was delayed. Nitrogen free extract (NFE), TDN percent was increased tendency as planting date was delayed. SPAD reading value of leaves had an efficiency increased as planting date was delayed.

        ABSTRCT Four rape cultivars were grown at 1 to 5 plants per hill to investigate the effects of the number of plants per hill on major agronomic characters of forage rape in Cheju volcanic soil. Days to flowering of Sparta was 191 days, those of Ramon and Youngsanyuchae were 189 and 188 days, respectively. And that of Hallayuchae was 180.3 days. Days to flowering decreased as number of plants per hill was increased. Sparta was tallest (153.6cm), while Hallayuchae was shortest (131.8cm). Plant height with three plants per hill( 155.3cm) was longest, while with 5 plants per hill(131.8cm) was shortest. The number of branches, stem diameter, leaf length and leaf width gradually decreased as the number of plants per hill were increased. Sparta had the greatest fresh and dry matter, total digestible nutrient (TDN) and crude protein yields, while Hallayuchae had the least. Fresh yield were greatest (7,544 kg) at the three plants per hill. Dry matter TDN, and crude protein yields were also greatest (7,544 kg) at the three plants per hill. Ramon had the greatist SPAD reading (44.7) while Youngsanyuchae had the lowest (40.7). SPAD reading were highest (44,1) in the one plant per hill plot but decreased as the number of plants per plant was increased. Sparta had greater contents of crude fiber and crude ash, but Hallayuchae and Youngsanyuchae had lower contents. The content of crude protein, crude fat, nitrogen free extract(NFE) and TDN were increased as number of plant per hill were increased. But the contents of crude fiber and crude ash were decreased as the number of plants per hill was increased.

        ABSTRACT Four cultivars of rape were grown at 5 planting densities in Cheju volcanic soil to investigate the effects of planting density on major agronomic characters of forage rape. Hallayuchae flowered earliest (180 days) while Sparta latest(191 days). Days to flowering was reduced as planting density was decreased. The average plant height of Sparta was 162.2cm and that of Ramon and Youngsanyuchae was 158.4 and 138.6cm, respectively. In 10 X 10cm planting density plot, plant height was 152.5cm and it was gradually decreased as planting density was decreased. The number of branches, stem diameter, leaf length and leaf width of Ramon was greatest, while those of Hallayuchae were least. These variables were increased as planting density was decreased. Fresh forage yield (5,719kg/10a) and dry matter yield (1,229kg/10a) for lOxlOcm planting density plot, were greatest, but those were gradually decreased as planting density was decreased and those for 30 X 30cm planting density plot were 4,232kg/10a and 906kg/10a respectively. Crude protein yield and total digestable nutrient (TDN) per lOa was positively correlated with fresh forage yield and dry matter yield. Sparta produced the greatest fresh forage, and Hallayuchae produced the smallest. Sparta had the highest SPAD reading value, and Hallayuchae had the lowest. SPAD reading was reduced in proportion to increased planting density. Sparta had greater crude protein yield, and crude fat, nitrogen free extract (NFE) and TDN contents and Youngsanyuchae and Hallayuchae had lower contents while Youngsanyuchae and Hallayuchae had greater crude fiber and crude ash contents and Sparta had lower contents. Crude protein yield, and crude fat. NFE and TDN contents were decreased as planting density was decreased, while crude fiber and crude ash contents were increased as planting density was decreased.
