        This study aims at investigating the difference upon VCO₂ max caused by Hand, Leg and Back Load. The results are as follows. 1. VCO₂max(M) 1) After starting treadmill exercise, all the weights has no differences for 3.50 minutes, but after then, HW is the highest to 12.50 minutes, and the order of VCO₂ value is BW, LW and NW. But after 12.50minutes, LW is rapidly increased and The value is shown in the order of LW, HW, BW, NW. 2) In case of All out, Lw is the highest and the value is shown in the order of HW, BW, NW. As for each value, NW is 3.474(1/min), HW 5.324(1/min), BW 4.481(1/min) and LW 6.417(1/min). 3) The R² of Regression line (above 81.396) is very rational and very valid in significance level(p<0.05) as well. 4) In normal distribution of Residuals scatterplot, MLW is normal but the other weights are almost normal. However, in independent variable, MNW and MBW are normal but MHW and MLW are almost normal. 2. VCO₂max(F) 1) After starting treadmill exercise, all the weights are almost the same for 4 minutes, after 4 minutes, HW is the highest to 12 minutes, and the order of VCO₂ value is BW, LW and NW. But after 12 minutes, LW is rapidly increased and The value is shown in the order of LW, HW, BW, NW. 2) In case of All out, LW is the highest and the value is shown in the order of HW, NW and BW. As for each value, NW is 3.257(1/min), HW 3.995(1/min), BW 3.124(1/min) and LW 4.951(1/min). 3) The R² of Regression line (above 70.090) is very retional and very valid in significance level (p<0.05) as well. 4) In normal distribution of Residuals scatterplot, FBW is almost normal but the other weights are normal. However, in independent variable, FHW and FBW are normal but FNW and FLW almost normal.

      • 大學生의 心肺機能에 관한 硏究 : With the Model of Kenneth Cooper`s 12 Minutes Run

        Cardiovascular fitness is measured simply through Kenneth Cooper's 12 minute run method. The results of this experiment are as follows : 1. Men and Women over-estimate their own physical fitness by taking upward valuation of the expected grade rather than the actual one. 2. There are only 17men(28.3%) and 3 women(5.0%) who show "very good grade" in the test. On the whole, the statistics indicate that cardiovascular performance of the sample is disappointingly low. 3. Concerning estimated performances, we expected that 87.4% of the men would run 2.5km or more, and 90.0% of the women would do 1.5km or more. 4. As for the actual distance, 73.3% of the men ran over 2.5km, and 75.1% of the women did over 1.5km hese results show a short fall of actual from anticipated performance of 14.1% for men and 14.9% for women. 5. 78.3% of the men and 80.1% of the women correctly understand "Cardiovascular Test" as a kind of fitness test.

      • 排球競技에 있어서 勝敗에 미치는 要因 分析

        排球競技에 있어서 여러 가지 要素 즉 serve, block, spike, receive 등이 勝敗에 어느 정도 영향을 미치며 중요한가를 比較 分析한 硏究의 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 승율에 있어서 男子는 上位 Team과의 승율의 차의 폭이 적어 실력의 평준화가 되어 있는 반면, 女子는 上位 3 Team의 승율과 中·下位 Team간의 차가 커 실력의 차가 크게 나타났다. 2. spike 성공은 男子가 42.90%로 女子의 31.54%보다 11.36%나 높은 성공률을 보였다. 3. spike 실패는 男子가 9.91%, 女子가 7.62%로 男子가 2.29% 높은 실패율을 나타내 女子가 男子에 비해 실패가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 4. block는 set 당 男子가 3.63回, 女子가 2.28回로 男子가 1.35回 높게 나타나 block에서는 男子가 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 5. block는 실패는 set당 男子가 1.05回, 女子가 0.63回로 男子가 0.42回 높게 나타나 block 실패는 男子가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 6. receive 성공은 男子가 72.65%, 女子가 63.95%로 男子가 8.70% 높게 나타나 receive에서 男子가 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 7. serve receive의 실패는 set당 男子가 0.50回, 女子 0.71回로 男子가 0.21回 낮게 나타나 男子가 다소 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 8. serve ace는 男子가 1.28%, 女子가 2.24% 女子가 0.96% 높게 나타나 女子가 다소 높게 나타났으나 全體的으로 아주 낮았다. 9. serve 실패는 男子가 4.12%, 女子가 3.79%로 男子가 0.33% 높게 나타나 女子가 다소 안전한 것으로 나타났다. 10. 총실수에서는 男子가 6.72%, 女子가 5.93%로 男子가 0.79% 높게 나타나 女子가 실수가 다소 적은 것으로 나타났다. 11. 각 Team의 要素別 성적에서 男子는 上位 Team들이 환산점수가 높았으나 女子는 中位 Team인 SK가 제일 높아 排球에 있어서 各 要素들의 복합성을 나타내고 있다. 12. 全體的으로 男女 공히 spike 성공률이 가장 높은 Team(HD, MDP)이 승율이 제일 높게 나타나 spike의 중요성이 강조된다. This paper aims at comparing and analyzing the effects of such factors as Serve, Block, Spike, and Receive in Volleyball. The results are as follows. 1. In the deviation of victory-or-defeat rate, the three strongest male teams differ less one another. On the contrary, There is a wide difference between the three strongest female and the middle or the weakest ones. 2. In spike good rate, male is 42.9%, female 31.54% male is better than female, by 11.36%. 3. Spike miss rate of the male team is 9.91%, female 7.62% Female is better than male, by 2.29%. 4. Block per male game is 3.63, female 2.28, male player is superior to female player in blocking ability, by 1.35. 5. Block miss per male game is 1.05, female 0.63. The Failure of male player is oftener than that off female. 6. Receive in male game is 72.65%, female 63.95%, male is better than female by 8.70%. 7. In the case of the missing of serve receive, male is 0.50, female is 0.71%, male is more or less better than female by 0.21. 8. Serve ace is 1.28% for male, 2.24% for female. Female serve ace is comparatively higher, but generally much lower than male. 9. Serve miss for male is 4.12%, female 3.79%. Female player is more or less thoughtful. 10. The total errors is 6.72% for male, 5.93% for female. Female player makes less errors than male. 11. As for the score of factors for each team, he stronger male teams get higher score, the middle female teams, S. K get the highest score, It shows the compostion of each factor in volleyball tournament. 12. In general, the teams, H.D, M.D.P. with the highest spike good rate have the highest spike good rate have the highest victory rate. Therefore, victory depends on spike factor more than anything else.

      • 體力과 知能의 相關關係에 관한 硏究

        The result which was got from the study on the correlation between phsical strength and intelligence by comparing the 568 students (336 boys and 232 girls) of B senior high school in Pusan is as follows. 1. The CR result of each I.Q group showed that each group has a meaning by the levels of p>0.1, p<0.001. 2. The r between 100m race and I.Q is 0.005 on the boys and 0.01 on the girls, and so thers is no relation and CR and PM in each groups is p>0.1 and it does not have any meaning. 3. The r between standing broad jump and I.Q is 0.08 on the boys and 0.05 on the girls and it has showed that there is no relation between them and the CR of DM is p>0.1 level except the girls (p<0.1) between the 110∼119 group and 90∼109 group and it does not have any meaning. 4. The r between throwing and I.Q is 0.008 on the boys and 0.03 on the girls and it has showed that there is no relation between them. The CR of DM between each group is p>0.1 leuvel and it does not have any meaning. 5. The r between chinning static chin-up and I.Q is 0.07 on the boys and 0.09 on the girls and it has showed that CR of DM between each group is p>01 level and it does not have any meaning. 6. The r between sit up and I.Q is 0.07 on the boys and 0.09 on the girls and it has showed that there is no relation between them and the CR of DM showed that the boys p<0.1 level between 110∼119 group and 90∼109 group does not have any meaning. 7. The r between 1,000(800)m race and I.Q is 0.08 on the boys and 0.009 on the girls and it has showed that there is no relation between them and the CR of DM showed that the boys p<0.02 level between 120∼129 group and 110∼119 group has some meaning and except that it does not have any meaning as p>0.1 level. 8. The r between the progression of physical strength and I.Q is 0.006 on the boys and 0.009 on the girls and it almost does not have any relation and the CR of DM is the p<0.02 level on the boys between 120∼129 group and 110∼119 group and it showed that it has some meaning and except that it does not have any meaning as p<0.1 level. 9. According to the distribution of marks through the test of physsial strength, the girls are lower in the 100m race and throwing than the boys but in standing broad jump, static chin-up and pushup, they are higher, and especially in 1,000(800)m race the girls got 20 marks (full marks) and especially in the 1,000(800_m race the girls level is lower than the boys.

      • 心肺機能의 向上을 위한 Endurance Training의 處方 理論에 관한 硏究

        호흡순환 기능에 대한 신체 운동의 장기적인 효과는 관찰되었다. 대개 VO₂max심 박출량(cadiac output) 박출량(stroke volume) A-VO₂diff(Arterio venous oxygendifference) 작업능력은 지구력 training으로 향상되었다. 최대하 작업부화(at submaximal work load) VO₂와 Cardiac output 는 HR과 수출기혈압의 감소와 Stroke volume의 증가와 함께 상당히 부단히 일정하게 유지된다. 심장질환자가 지구력 Training에 중심적인 것과 말초적인 생리학적 적응을 보이는지는 알려지고 있지 않다. 심장질환자에 있어서 중심적인 변화는 Training의 증가된 강도 (85% HRmax reserve)와 정상의 좌심실 기능에 의존할지도 모른다. 연구조사 결과는 호흡 순환 지구력의 향상은 Training프로그램의 강도 지속과 빈도에 의존한다는 것을 제시한다. Training의 강도와 지속 시간은 상호 관계되는 것이 발견되었다. 그리고 총 에너지 Kcal는 중요한 요인이었다. 호흡 순환 적성의 향상을 위해서 최소의 발단(minimum thresold)이 있는 것을 제시한다하더라도 (50∼60%maximum)3∼5일 매주 실행되는 계속적인 운동으로써의 20∼40분의 프로그램은 일반적으로 호흡 순환적성에 유의한 향상을 나타냈다. Weight Training은 근력의 증가는 나타났지만 유산소 능력에는 거의 혹은 전혀 향상이 없었다. 근 골격의 상해 방지를 돕고 지구력 Training에 집착력을 향상하기 위해서 적절한 강도의 프로그램은 고강도 프로그램에 비해 월등함을 나타낸다. 여자는 남자와 비교해서 보다낮은 VO₂max를 갖는 것을 나타냈지만 그들의 Training에 대한 적응력은 유사하다. VO₂max에 대한 aging curve는 활동 집단과 정주성 집단은 같지 않을 수 있다. 10년 동안 일정한 형태로 Training을 계속한 middleaged and men은 유산소능력에 감소가 없는 것을 나타냈다. The chronic effects of physical activity on cardiorespiratory functions were reviewed. Generally, VO₂ max, cardiac output, stroke Volume, A-VO₂ difference, and working capacity improved with endurance training. At submaximal work loads, VO₂ and cardiac output remain farily constant, with HR and systolic blood pressure decreasing and stroke Volume increasing. Whether cardiac patients show both central and peripheral physiological adaptations to endurance training is not known. Central changes in cardiac patients may depend on increased intensity of training(85 percent HR max reserve)and normal left ventricular function. Research finding showed that improvement in cardiorespiratory endurance was dependent on the intensity, duration, and frequency of the training program. Intensity and duration of training were found to be interrelated, and total kilocalorie expenditure was the important factor. Arthough there appears to be a minimum threshold for improving cardiorespiratory fitness (50 to 60 percent of maximum), programs of 20 to 40minutes of continuous activity, performed 3 to 5 days per week, generally produced significant improvement in cardiorespiratory fitness. Weight training resulted in increased muscular strength but showed little or no improvement in aerobic capacity. To help prevent musculoskelteal injuries and improve adherence to endurance training, moderate-intensity programs appear to be superior to high-intensity ones. Although women have been shown to have a lower VO₂ max compared with men, their adaptation to training is similar. The aging curve for VO₂ max may not be the same for active and sedentary populations Middle-aged and elderly men who continued to train in a consistent fashion for 10years showed no reduction in aerobic capacity.

        This study aims at investigating the difference upon RER caused by external load. The results are as follows. 1. RER(Male) 1) During treadmill exercise, All weights has droppped little by little for 3.50 minutes, but they increase little by little after 3.50 minutes. 2) In the excess of RER "1.0", BW records at 10 minutes, and the HW (11.50 min), NW(12.50 min), and LW(13.50min). 3) The R² of Regression line (above 49.689) is comparatively rational and very valid is significance level (p<0.05) as well. 4) In normal distribution of Residuals scatterplot, MNW nd MLW are normal but MHW and MBW are almost normal. However, in independent variable, MHW and MLW are normal but the other weights are almost normal or subnormal. 2. RER(Female) 1) During treadmill exercise, All weights has little by little dropped for 4 minutes, but after 4 minutes, they are on the increase little by little. 2) In the excess of RER "1.0", BW is the fasted by the time of 8.50 minutes and then HW(10min), LW(10min), NW(12min). 3) The R² of Regression line (below 43.438) is low but valid in significance level (p<0.05) as well. 4) In normal distribution of Residuals scatterplot, FNW and FBW are normal but FHW and FLW are almost normal. However, in independent variable, FBW is normal but the other weights are almost normal.
