This article clarifies marriage relationship between Christians by looking into Christian family at early stage in Saⁿ-teng-po(三重?), Sek-khau(錫口) and Chui-t?g-kha(水返脚) territory as well as their marriages. By exploring the interpersonal networks between folks and relatives, this article proves and explains the activeness of Christians during commission of Christianity. This article also points out the formation and communication process of Christian groups in Taiwan, and further describes the role played by Christians in the process of spreading Christianity on this basis. With conversion of Christians at early stage, their family members also became Christians and married with Christians in other areas. This forms the Christian families who inherited by generations. By means of reconstructing the families and marriage networks of these Christians, it pictures the powerful functions conveyed by marriage networks of Christians when spreading and strengthening Christianity belief.

The article traces the historical development of Fulaoko (the Hakkas assimilated by the Hole) in the Changhua Plain with focus on their composition, formation, and social change. After re-interpreting previous studies on the subject, it examines the vicissitudes of land reclamation of the area by the Hakkas, interactions and conflicts between them and the Holo (Southern Fukienese). as well as social change there. To conclude, it explores all the factors accountable for the social formation of the Fulaoko in the Changhua Plain.
