        韓国の初等教育における日本語教材開発の試み

        This report introduces about the development of the Japanese textbook for primary school children, which is supported by the furtherance business of teaching materials development by the Japan Foundation. The first purpose of the development of this textbook is, "the bottom expansion of Japanese education". For letting children to be interested in Japan or Japanese from the time of the elementary school, and to increase the number of the Japanese learners at the middle and the higher education, we aimed at the development of the Japanese teaching materials as a tool of the cross-cultural understanding that deserved to be childhood. At first, we analyzed present conditions of the Japanese education at Korean elementary school and its education method, and found necessity of new teaching materials development from both sides of the teacher and learner. Then constituted the contents which is based on the experience of the teacher on the spot. In addition, we also made the teacher's manual to convey the aim of this textbook.
