체육교사의 학업지지 행동이 학생들의 도움요청 행동에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate how much influence the physical education teacher's learning support behaviors on students' help seeking behaviors. For that purpose, 480 middle and high school students in Gyeonggi-do were selected by a convenience sampling and subjected to the study. Total 451 collected data were analyzed in descriptive statistic and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS Ver. 14.0 program. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, students' recognition of the teacher's learning supporting behaviors was shown low in general, More specifically recognition of the teacher's regulation-oriented behaviors was high, whereas recognition of the supporting or encouraging behaviors was low. Second, students' recognition of the help seeking behaviors was shown either low or negative. More specifically recognition of the avoidance of help seeking behaviors was high, whereas recognition of the executive help seeking behaviors was low. Third, learning supporting behaviors of a physical education teacher had a statistically significant influence on the help seeking behaviors of students, such as instrumental and executive help seeking. However, partial influence was shown on the avoidance of help seeking behaviors.
