NACA 0015 익형에 대한 Gurney 플랩의 영향
유능수,이장호 강원대학교 산업기술연구소 2000 産業技術硏究 Vol.20 No.B
A numerical investigation was performed to determine the effect of the Gurney flap on NACA 0015 airfoil. A Navier-Stokes code. FLUENT, was used to calculate the flow field about the airfoil. The fully-turbulent results were obtained using the standard κ-ε two-equation turbulence model. The numerical solutions showed the Gurney flap increased both lift and drag. These results suggested that the Gurney flap served to increase the effective camber of the airfoil. Gurney flap provided a significant increase in lift-to-drag ratio relatively at low angle of attack and for high lift coefficient. It turned out that 0.75% chord size of flap was best. The numerical results exhibited detailed flow structures at the trailing edge and provided a possible explanation for the increased aerodynamic performance.

A tineid moth, Gaphara conspersa (Matsumura, 1931) is newly reported in Korea. Gaphara conspersa is myrmecophilous, associated with some species of ants such as Lasius (Lasius) japonicus, L. (Dendrolasius) spp., Polyrhachis spp., Camponotus spp., Pristomyrmex punctatus was known in Japan. The larva lives in a 8-shaped or gourd-shaped flat case are made of soil and sand. Larva scavenges food, dead ants and shed skins of ant larvae that are carried out by ants. Females lays eggs around the nests (Maruyama et al., 2013). In this study, Gaphara conspersa (Matsumura, 1931) was found for the first time from Korea. The larvae were collected in the ant nests at Mt. Cheonggye, Geumto-dong, Seongnam City, in 22. May 2013 and 16. June 2013. The larval cases have three level sizes (small, middle and large) were found at the same time. Figures of the adults, larvae and pupae, are given in this study.

Mine and gall makers among Lepidoptera are found in the family Gracillariidae. The genus Borboryctis Kumata et Kuroko, 1988, have 2 species B. euryae Kumata et Kuroko and B. triplaca (Mayrick). B. euryae is known a gall maker of Eurya spp. In this study, Borboryctis euryae Kumata et Kuroko, 1988 feeding on Eurya japonica Thunb. and E. emarginata Makino (Theaceae), is reported for the first time from Is. Jeju and Geoje, Korea. The host plant, Eurya spp. an evergreen tree, is widely distributed in East Asia including Korea. The early instar larva makes linear mine near the surface of the leaves and mature larva makes gall on the leaves of the host plant. Larval frass ejected behaviour were not observed. The mature larva makes a light brown spindle-shape cocoon on the somewhere of the host plant, mainly edge of the leaf. The descriptions and figures of the male and female genitalia, mine, gall, larvae and pupae in immature stages, are provided.

Neung Ho International trade environment is rapidly changing. Developing all economic activities included in the value chain of economy out of a particular country or region in the trends where globalization is spreading all over the world, 'a borderless world' has been created and become common throughout the world. Especially, in case of East Asian region, becoming the factory of the world, China has become a center of the world's economic activities in recent years; and the increase of regional investment among East Asian countries and trade expansion focused on China has been the factor of promoting the formulation of a regional trade network. SCM is an efficient way of adaptation to the complexity or uncertainty on the scene through the achievement of a sustainable competitive advantage by integrating the activities of improving the relationships in the supply chain. In this study, Sumitronics, a Japanese company, was studied as a case of the company who had implemented SCM effectively and efficiently utilizing the East Asian trade network. Not being engaged in the manufacturing processes in the headquarter, Sumitronics has implemented SCM which is capable of maximizing the responsiveness upon the requirements of customers by effective information sharing. In particular, the profits of the company have been maximized through SCM by its headquarter in Japan, which is capable of managing each base in East Asia as China and Southeast Asia, etc. Korean companies may also be able to create a new source of profit by dint of establishing SCM as such. The results of this case study has revealed that the implementation of an effective business model is the key of the successful implementation of SCM.

Rising of sea level and sea water temperature as well as ice-melting at the Arctic Ocean have occurred due to global warming, which has resulted in removal of most of obstacles in vessel sailing operation. With the use of Arctic Ocean route, distance from a certain port in Korean to Rotterdam port in Netherlands will be shortened by 40% and consequent vessel operation cost will be saved. And all these benefit will contribute to convenience of vessel transportation and has brought a great deal of attention to the development project of natural resources buried in Arctic Circle. Considering all these circumstance, it is expected that development of Northern Sea Route to be an opportunity for Gangwon-do of Korea to make economic growth due to its geographical proximity to Northern Sea Route. For the development of regional industry development and national economic growth, if Gangwon-do builds up a Logistics Hub in the future with various roles and functions such as international business center, SCM base to Europe, energy resource trading hub and Northern Sea Route terminal, it may become the economic hub in the Pan East Sea.

Recently, as world port environment rapidly changes, competition for securing quantity of goods transported among ports becomes fiercer and they seek strategy to develop central ports through broadscale investment on facilities. In case of Japan, they are experiencing tough time as prolonged economic recession and slowdown caused a decrease in the quantity of goods transported, which leads to a search for development through transformation of port management policy and to a strategically concentrated support policy at national level that enables enhancement of international competitiveness of the port as well as reclamation of the position as the hub container port of East Asia which was enjoyed in the past. This study examines the trend of Japan’s port logistics and considers the trend of Japan’s port management policy through review of literature. Moreover, management policy of Hanshin port, appointed as an international container hub in 2010, is looked over and it is summarized as sharp cut in the port use cost and reduction in lead time. The implication of this study is that Korean ports need to prepare policy options to cope with Japan’s port management strategy.

The aquaculture industry is growing in importance but is also exposed to diverse constraints and challenges. In order to increase the sustainability of the existing industry and ensure the competitiveness of fishery products, the Korean government is promoting the sixth industrialization plan, employing local and regional resources. This research critically examines successful case of Japan sixth industrialization by providing guidance in addressing current issues. To improve the business performance of fisheries, as well as creating new employment and sufficient demand, appropriate strategies and promotion of sixth order industrialization are crucial to support the policies required to match Korean culture and characteristics. Through establishment of optimised and successful sixth industrialization based on collaboration and integration among industries, Korea is able to attain creative innovation as well as achieving unique branding and differentiation in the aquaculture industry.
