        This research aimed to study the effectiveness of moves in Barre Work, a part of Ballet lesson as a physical training for improving actor’s expression skill. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: 1. Practicing barre moves enhances ability to control muscle, and is effective to release the tension. 2. Practicing barre moves enhances ability to regulate the expression of body energy, and is effective to develop the body expression. 3. Practicing barre moves is effective to develop the visual representation. 4. Practicing barre moves is effective to create natural movements. This research was designed to study only a part of Barre Work so that it is assumed that this research does not fully address the effectiveness of entire Barre Work lesson. With regarding to this fact, it is suggested to encourage further research on ballet lesson consist of Barre Work and Center Work. Furthermore, research on satisfaction with actor’s expression must be conducted to prove suitability of Ballet program as a physical training for actors.

      • 무용전공별 공연연습기간 중 월경현상에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 무용전공 여고생을 대상으로 공연연습 기간 중 월경의 변화 여부 (월경량, 월경기간, 생리통, 월경 전·후의 신체적, 정신적 증상)에 관한 실태를 조사하여 무용전공별 월경현상에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 비교하고자 수도권 지역에 위치한 예술고등학교 무용과에 재학 중인 무용전공자로, 한국무용 88명, 발레 78명, 현대무용 34명을 대상으로 피험자 모두에게 자발적인 동의를 얻어 MDQ(Menstrual Distress Questionnaire; Moos, 1977)기초로 재작성한 19문항 설문지(김효정 등, 2002)중 15문항을 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 11.5 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석기법으로는 연구대상자의 일반적 특정을 파악하기 위해 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 또한 무용 전공 고등학생들의 전공하는 무용에 따라 월경 증상을 알아보기 위해 x2(Chi-square) 검증과 교차분석, 그리고 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 공연을 앞둔 집중 연습기간 중에 월경의 변화가 없는 학생이 56.5%로, 월경의 변화가 있는 학생 43.5%보다 많았으며, 무용전공별로는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 2. 공연을 앞둔 집중 연습기간 중에 월경량이 적어진 학생이 77.0%로 많았으며 무용전공별로는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 3. 공연을 앞둔 집중 연습기간 중에 월경기간이 짧아지는 학생이 51.7%로 많았으며 무용전공별로는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 4. 공연을 앞둔 집중연습기간 중 월경변화로 인한 신체적인 증상으로는 한국무용을 전공하는 학생이 발레와 현대무용을 전공하는 학생보다 요통26.0%, 어지러움 14.0%, 피로 12.0%로 가장 많이 경험하였고, 발레를 전공하는 학생은 한국무용과 현대무용을 전공하는 학생보다 하복통27.3%와 식욕증진10.9%로 가장 많이 경험하였으며, 현대무용을 전공하는 학생은 한국무용과 발레를 전공하는 학생보다 체중 증가 11.3%, 유방팽만감 9.5%로 가장 많이 경험하였다. 5. 공연을 앞둔 집중 연습기간 중 월경변화로 인한 정신적 증상으로는 한국무용을 전공하는 학생이 발레와 현대무용을 전공하는 학생보다 신경예민 27.1%, 불안감 14.6%로 가장 많이 경험하였고 발레를 전공하는 학생은 한국무용과 현대무용을 전공하는 학생보다 잦은 감정변화 23.4%로 가장 많이 경험하였고 현대무용을 전공학생은 한국무용과 발레를 전공하는 학생보다 우울 30.8%, 불쾌감 20.5%로 가장 많이 경험하였다. 6. 공연을 앞둔 집중 연습기간 중 생리통의 변화는 발레를 전공하는 학생이 55.1%, 한국무용을 전공하는 학생이 45.5%, 현대무용을 전공하는 학생이 38.2%로 집중 연습기간 중에 생리통의 변화가 없다로 나타났다 따라서, 공연 연습기간 중 월경현상의 변화에 영향을 미친다고 해석하기는 무리가 따르며 공연 연습기간, 연습량과 월경간의 관계를 규명하고 심리적인 측면 뿐 아니라 월경현상에 관여하는 호르몬 분비들을 포함한 체계적인 연구가 이루어져야 한다고 사료된다. The objective of this study is to examine dance major female high school students of the period of menarche and current status of changes (quantity, period, physical and mental symptoms before and after the menstruation) of menstruation in the performance practice period and to compare and look at what kind of influence they have on menstruation according to dance major. I selected 88 people from Korean traditional dancers, 78 ballet dancers and 34 modern dancers who's in art high schools dance major located in metropolitan area. I acquired voluntary consent from all of the testees and used 15 questions from reframed 19 question questionnaire (Kim, Hyo-Jung et al, 2002) absed on MDQ (Menstrual Distress Questionnaire; Moos, 1977). The collected resources were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 11.5) program. For analysis technique, the frequency and percentile were calculated to understand the general characteristics of the tesees. Also, to find the menstruation symptoms in accordance of kind of dance and dance experience of the dance major high school students, x2(Chi-square) verification, cross analysis and frequency analysis were executed. As a result, the following conclusions were derived. 1. The students who has no changes of menstruation in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead were 56.5% which was higher than 43.5% of the students with changes and there was not statistically significant difference between the different majors. 2. The students who has decreased menstruation period in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead were 77.0% and there was not statistically significant difference between the different majors. 3. The students who has shortened menstruation period in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead were 51.7% and there was not statistically significant difference between the different majors. 4. For the physical symptoms due to the menstruation changes in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead, korean dance students had experiences 15.8% of lumbago, 14.0% of dizziness and 12.0% of exhaustion more than ballet and modern dance students,baller dance studenrs has experiences 27.3% of abdominal cramps and 10.9% of increase in appetite more than korean and modern dance students, and modern dance students has experiences 11.3% of increase in weight and 9.5% of breast tenderness more than korean and ballet dance students, 5. For the psychological symptom due to the menstruation changes in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead, korean dance students had experiences 27.1% of paranoia and 14.6% of a feeling of unleasntnesss more than ballet and modern dance students, baller dance studenrs has experiences 23.4% of frequent change of emotion more than korean and modern dance students, and modern dance students has experiences 30.8% of depression and 20.5% of unpleasntnesss more than korean and ballet dance students. 6. Change of menstrual pains in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead show that 55.1% of ballet dance students, 45.5% of korean dance students and 38.5% of modern dance students were not changes. Therefore, since it is unreasonable to interpret that it influences on menstruationchanges in concentrated practice period with the performance ahead, I think systematic studies examining the relationship between the practice period, the amout of practice and menstruation according to the majors and more systematic studies including hormone secretion that is relevant to menstruation as well as psychological aspect should be conducted.

      • 무용전공 여자 대학생의 전공만족도와 교수-학생의 상호작용이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of dance major woman students' major satisfaction and faculty-student interaction on career preparation behavior. The questionnaire was distributed to 187 woman students major in dance in universities located at capital area selected. Questionnaire was designed to have 33 questions regarding three variables such as major satisfaction, faculty-student interaction, and career preparation behavior. Correlation analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 was conducted to find an association among major satisfaction, faculty-student interaction, and career preparation behavior. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influence of satisfaction with major and sub-factors of faculty-student interaction with its sub-factors on career preparation behavior. Detailed results are presented below. 1. The results showed that major satisfaction and faculty-student interaction had a significant correlation with career preparation behavior. 2. Among four sub-factors of satisfaction with major, only recognition satisfaction had a significant correlation on career preparation behavior. 3. Among two sub-factors of faculty-student interaction, only intimacy had a significant correlation on career preparation behavior. 4. Overall score of satisfaction with major had a significant influence on career preparation behavior. but Faculty-student interaction has no significant influence. In conclusion, major satisfaction of the students influence on career preparation behavoir, but strongly depending on sub-factors of faculty-student interaction. In order to enhance the career preparation behavoir, appropriate and satisfactory curriculum should be provided and the faculties should be personable, well qualified and competent to build trust with students.

      • 발레뤼스 안무가들의 안무적 특성에 관한 연구

        This study inquired into the influence, which had on their choreographic characteristics and on ballet art, by selecting 5 persons such as Michell Fokine, Vaslav Nijinsky, Leonid Massine, Bronislava Nijinska, and George Balanchine among choreographers of Ballet Russes, who had been active in Europe from 1909 to 1929, and then by analyzing two pieces of works for each that are being performed even now among their works. The choreographic characteristics of choreographers for Ballet Russes, are as follows. Michell Fokine attempted a ballet that was compressed into one act, and showed the complete unification of theme and emotional expression, with a realistic form. Vaslav Nijinsky distinctly shows primitive inclination, and emphasized primitivism by trying individual choreography, with new and experimental motion, which escaped tradition, using a straight line and an acute angle, in terms of motion. Leonid Massine choreographed on the basis of a character dance and a folk dance, and carried out originative choreograph such as comic satire drama, with a story ballet, in addition to a symphony ballet. Bronislava Nijinska can be seen various expressions such as being folkish, comic and satirical, and expanded the range of expressions for a ballet. George Balanchine showed the excellence of tradition with logical skills such as innocence and classical balance, and newly originated elegant and angular motion, with the combination of music and choreography. Like this, choreographers' choreographic characteristics brought many changes and development to a form of ballet, while responding to historical circumstances. Michell Fokine became the mother's womb of modernism for a ballet, by attempting the expressively romantic ballet, Vaslav Nijinsky made the start of modernism in a ballet known, by attempting the creation of unique motion, which stood for primitivism in the Le Sacre du printemps, Leonid Massine further broadened the width of a modem ballet, by trying to express dynamics and the united energy of futurism in the motion of a ballet, Bronislava Nijinska tried newly modernism-wide approach to a ballet, with an abstract method based on cubism, and George Balanchine presented a neoclassical ballet with a form of one act, which has no outline or a plot. With a ballet of an avant-garde style through plentiful masterpieces ranging from a romantically expressionistic style, which was started with Michell Fokine's choreography, to a neoclassical mode of George Balanchine, who is the last choreographer, it leaded to the birth of modernism, which is a new mode in modem times, enabled Russian ballet to be popularized and to be in vogue everywhere in the world, as well as Western Europe, and allowed a ballet to able to be again positioned as a central location of a theater in the art circles of Europe in the early 20th century, which were devastated. Many dancers, who had been active in Ballet Russes, made lots of contributions to the development of a new ballet, up to the activation and education of ballet repertoire, while their having scattered in the whole world, and reconstructed the development of a ballet, by organizing a globally corps de ballet such as The Royal Ballet in England, New York City Ballet in the United States, and American Ballet Theater.

      • 무용전공 대학생의 진로선택 동기가 진로결정 자기 효능감에 미치는 영향

        This study was to analyze the effect of dance major students' major selecting motivation on career decision-making self-efficacy. The questionnaire was distributed to 320 students located at capital area selected. Questionnaire was designed to have 22 questions regarding two variables such as major selecting motivation and career decision-making self-efficacy. To analysis was used SPSS 24.0. Detailed results are presented below. 1. The results showed that major selecting motivation had a significant positive correlation with career decision-making self-efficacy. 2. The intrinsic motivation of major selecting motivation had a significant positive influence on career decision-making self-efficacy. 3. The extrinsic motivation of major selecting had influence on career decision-making self-efficacy, but did not have influence on problem solving, a subfactor of career decision-making self-efficacy. 4. Overall score of major selecting motivation had influence on career dcision-making self-efficacy.

        Compositions of Extractive Nitrogenous Constituents and Their Monthly Variation for Fresh Capsosiphon fulvescens

        To elucidate the composition of extractive nitrogenous components in the fresh Capsosiphons fulvescens cultured off the southern coast of Korea, and to determine the monthly variation of these nitrogenous components, extract samples collected monthly from December to March at Jangheung-gun, Jeonnam Province were analyzed for total nitrogen, free and combined amino acids, ATP and related compounds, betaines, trimethylamine oxide (TMAO) and trimethylamine (TMA). The content of extractive nitrogen was 1,090~1,233 mg/100 g on dry basis. The number of 21~25 ninhydrin-positive substances was detected in the analysis of free amino acids, and their total amount was 3,710~4,788 mg/100 g on dry basis. Among them, free proline, asparagine, glutamic acid, alanine, taurine and glutamine were found to be abundant. The combined amino acids amounted to 1,573~2,121 mg/100 g in total and the total amount of ATP and related compound was 33.8~84.0 mg/100 g ($1.06{\sim}2.46\;{\mu}mol/g$) on dry basis. Betaine, glycinebetaine, $\beta$-alaninebetaine, $\gamma$-butyrobetaine, homarine and trigonelline were detected in most of samples. Levels of free and combined amino acids, ATP and related compounds fluctuated from sample to sample, with their contents higher in December and January and lower in March.

        무용전공 대학생들의 전공선택동기와 전공만족도가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dance major students' major satisfaction and faculty-student interaction on adjustment to school life. 1. The results showed that satisfaction with major had a significant negative correlation with adjustment to school life. 2. Among four sub-factors of satisfaction with major and adjustment to school life, only Curriculum satisfaction had a significant correlation statistically. 3. Sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction had a significant correlation statistically with adjustment to school life. 4. Overall score of satisfaction with major had a significant influence statistically on adjustment to school life. In conclusion, major satisfaction of the students influence on the adjustment to school life partially but strongly depending on sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction.

        발레가 중년여성들의 댄스스포츠 참여시 신체적, 심리적 만족도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 댄스스포츠가 대중화 되어감에 있어 발레의 선행수업이 댄스스포츠를 배우는데 있어서 신체적, 심리적 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상자는 천안지역 구민회관에서 주당 2회 이상 참가하고 있는 40대여성으로 댄스스포츠 교습만 실시한 집단과 발레교습을 병행한 집단간의 댄스스포츠 참여 시 신체적, 심리적 만족도의 차이가 있는지 설문지를 토대로 비교분석하였고 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 댄스스포츠 수업만 실시한 집단과 발레 수업 후 댄스스포츠 수업을 실시한 집단간의 신체적 만족도에 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 댄스스포츠 수업만 실시한 집단과 발레 수업 후 댄스스포츠 수업을 실시한 집단간의 심리적 만족도에 차이가 있었다. 댄스스포츠에 있어서 발레의 바 운동의 선행 교습은 학습자들에게 정확한 동작의 이해와 올바른 중심선에 대한 인식으로 댄스스포츠를 보다 정확하고 안정적으로 익히고 표현하는데 기여한다. 그러므로 댄스스포츠를 교육하는 지도자들도 이러한 연구 결과를 인식하여 댄스스포츠를 체계적으로 교육할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. The purpose of this research is for knowing the influence of the previous Ballet Lesson to the capability of Dance-Sports, physical satisfaction and mental satisfaction. For this research, two groups, which were composed women who were in their forties and took the lessons two times per week for over six months and under one year, one took just Dance-Sports lessons and the other took Dance-Sports Lessons and Ballet Lessons together is as follows. First, there are differences in abilities and satisfaction of movements between group of women who took just Dance-Sports lessons and a group of women who took Dance-Sports lessons after Ballet lessons. Second, there are differences in physical satisfaction and mental satisfaction between group of women who took just Dance-Sports lessons and a group of women who took Dance-Sports lessons after Ballet lessons. In Dance movements, the awareness of the accurate center line(axis) contributes to master and present Dance-Sports correctly and stably. Therefore, trainers of Dance-Sports should be fully aware of these results of research and systematically instruct trainees(students) in Dance-Sports
