        Vapor phase condensation of methyl acetate with formaldehyde to preparing methyl acrylate over cesium supported SBA-15 catalyst

        A cesium ion-containing catalyst, on an SBA-15 mesoporous molecular support, was prepared by the impregnation method and applied to the aldol condensation of methyl acetate with formaldehyde. The catalyst showed high catalytic activity in the condensation reaction. XRD characterization indicated that the cesium nitrate below 5 wt% loading was highly dispersed on the SBA-15 support. FT-IR and XPS results confirmed that a Si–O–Cs species was formed on the surface of the catalyst. Pyridine-IR verified that an L-acid site existed on the surface. The NH3-TPD and CO2-TPD results indicated that weak Lewis acid–base pairs were loaded on the surface, and these weak acid–base active sites might favor the aldol condensation reaction. The 5Cs/SBA-15 catalyst demonstrated the highest (48.4%) conversion of methyl acetate reported and 95.0% selectivity for methyl acrylate. The deactivated catalyst was completely regenerated by calcination. The catalyst was regenerated nine times with a total operation time of more than 60 h, and the initial conversion of methyl acetate and the selectivity for methyl acrylate did not change. The high catalytic activity was mainly due to the suitable strength of weak acid–base properties, which were rooted in the Si–O–Cs species on the surface of the support.

        Neighbor Gradient-based Multicast Routing for Service-Oriented Applications

        With the prevalence of diverse services-oriented applications, such as IPTV systems and on-line games, the current underlying communication networks face more and more challenges on the aspects of flexibility and adaptability. Therefore, an effective and efficient multicast routing mechanism, which can fulfill different requirements of different personalized services, is critical and significant. In this paper, we first define the neighbor gradient, which is calculated based on the weighted sum of attributes such as residual link capacity, normalized hop count, etc. Then two distributed multicast routing algorithms which are neighbor Gradient-based Multicast Routing for Static multicast membership (GMR-S) and neighbor Gradient-based Multicast Routing for Dynamic multicast membership (GMR-D), are proposed. GMR-S is suitable for static membership situation, while GMR-D can be used for the dynamic membership network environment. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed methods.

        Enabling Dynamic Multi-Client and Boolean Query in Searchable Symmetric Encryption Scheme for Cloud Storage System

        Searchable symmetric encryption (SSE) provides a safe and effective solution for retrieving encrypted data on cloud servers. However, the existing SSE schemes mainly focus on single keyword search in single client, which is inefficient for multiple keywords and cannot meet the needs for multiple clients. Considering the above drawbacks, we propose a scheme enabling dynamic multi-client and Boolean query in searchable symmetric encryption for cloud storage system (DMC-SSE). DMC-SSE realizes the fine-grained access control of multi-client in SSE by attribute-based encryption (ABE) and novel access control list (ACL), and supports Boolean query of multiple keywords. In addition, DMC-SSE realizes the full dynamic update of client and file. Compared with the existing multi-client schemes, our scheme has the following advantages: 1) Dynamic. DMC-SSE not only supports the dynamic addition or deletion of multiple clients, but also realizes the dynamic update of files. 2) Non-interactivity. After being authorized, the client can query keywords without the help of the data owner and the data owner can dynamically update client’s permissions without requiring the client to stay online. At last, the security analysis and experiments results demonstrate that our scheme is safe and efficient.

        Optimization Strategy on Conformal Polishing of Precision Optics using Bonnet Tool

        For the purpose of optimizing the polishing process of ultra-precision optics, the optimal motion for bonnet tool used in conformal polishing (CP) is investigated. Firstly, the removal mechanism in CP was studied and analyzed, based on which the conformal polishing conditions (CPC) and the conclusion that sub-steps precession (S-s-P) is the optimal motion were obtained; After that, corresponding simulations and experiments were conducted, and the results revealed that (1) the ability for CP of continuous precession (Con-P) was not stable, and only when the round distance S and the total polishing length are sufficiently tiny and large, meanwhile, S / vfx = 2*π/ωA is satisfied, the conformal polishing performance of Con-P is good. However, these requirements would limit its application in engineering; (2) Both the incline polishing (IP) and S-s-P models have good performance on CP, and their abilities for CP were not affected by the feeding speed. However, since the texture of the polished area of IP is not so good as S-s-P, the later is the most favourite model in CP. All the results have proven the correctness of the CPC and the theoretical conclusion, which is useful for the engineering application of S-s-P model of bonnet tool.
