한국의 방위산업은 규모의 경제를 확보하는데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이것은 방산물자의 특성상 구매자가 정부로 한정되어 있어서 국내 소요만으로는 국내 방위산업을 유지하는 것이 어렵기 때문이다. 따라서 적극적인 수출 홍보활동을 통해서 방산업체는 매출규모를 확대해야 한다. 수출 홍보활동은 방산전시회 참가, 장비시연, 방산시장 정보 수집 및 분석 등을 의미한다. 연구결과 방산업체의 광고선전비는 매출액과 수출액에 정(+)의 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 결과적으로 방산업체는 적극적인 수출 홍보활동을 통해서 경영성과(매출액, 수출액)를 향상시킬 수 있다 The South Korean defense industry is facing difficulties in ensuring its economy of scale. This is mainly because of the low demand compared to the supply. Such imbalance is on account of the unique nature of defense products, whose sole consumers are governments. Therefore, defense companies should expand their defense product sales through active PR (public relations) activities, including exhibitions, weapon systems demonstrations, and gathering information on the global defense industry. The results of this study show a positive correlation between the advertising cost and the management performance (sales and exports) of defense companies. In conclusion, defense companies can improve their management performance through active PR activities for the export of defense products.

Purpose: Laparoscopy has various advantages over laparotomy in terms of postoperative recovery. The number of surgeons using laparoscopy as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool in abdominal trauma patients is increasing, whereas open conversion is becoming less common. This report summarizes a single surgeon’s experience of laparoscopy at a level I trauma center and evaluates the feasibility of laparoscopy as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool for abdominal trauma patients. Methods: In total, 30 abdominal trauma patients underwent laparoscopy by a single surgeon from October 2014 to May 2020. The purpose of laparoscopy was categorized as diagnostic or therapeutic. Patients were classified into three groups by type of surgery: total laparoscopic surgery (TLS), laparoscopy-assisted surgery (LAS), or open conversion (OC). Univariate analysis was performed to determine the advantages and disadvantages. Results: The mechanism of injury was blunt in 19 (63.3%) and penetrating in 11 patients (36.7%). Eleven (36.7%) and 19 patients (63.3%) underwent diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy, respectively. The hospital stay was shorter for patients who underwent diagnostic laparoscopy than for those who underwent therapeutic laparoscopy (5.0 days vs. 13.0 days), but no other surgical outcomes differed between the groups. TLS, LAS, and OC were performed in 12 (52.2%), eight (34.8%), and three patients (13.0%), respectively. There was no significant difference in morbidity and mortality among the three groups. Conclusions: Laparoscopic surgery for selected cases of abdominal trauma may be feasible and safe as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool in hemodynamically stable patients due to the low OC rate and the absence of fatal morbidity and mortality.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P> <I>Dunaliella salina</I> is a unicellular halophilic green alga, which can survive even in saturated brine solutions (up to 5.0M NaCl). In <I>D. salina</I>, the carbonic anhydrase (CA, EC 4.2.1.1) is essential for cells to acquire carbon and to cope with the low CO<SUB>2</SUB> environment under high salt conditions. For the first time, the present study describes the existence of eight genes coding for different types of <I>D. salina</I> CAs: five alpha-type (DsCAs) and three gamma-type (DsgCAs). Beta-type CAs appear to be lacking in <I>D. salina</I>, as they could not be found. Under either high salt or limited CO<SUB>2</SUB> condition, the CAs from <I>D. salina</I> showed different expression patterns, with phylogenetically close CAs exhibiting similar gene expression patterns. For the biological characterization of DsCA2b, which is a newly identified α-type CA, the enzyme was successfully produced as a soluble protein by truncating the membrane spanning regions at both ends (trDsCA2b). It was demonstrated that this truncated trDsCA2b version of the CA enzyme was active. Purified trDsCA2b clearly showed increased CA activity at increased NaCl concentrations of up to 3.0M. Based on in silico analysis and our predicted 3D structure of DsCA2b, we propose that this enzyme is localized in the plasma membrane of cells and active on the extracellular side. Our results are in agreement with the hypothesis that the DsCAs are essential enzymes for carbon acquisition mechanism under salt stress and CO<SUB>2</SUB> stress in <I>D. salina</I>.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Eight novel carbonic anhydrases (DsCAs) were identified in <I>D. salina</I> CCAP 19/18. </LI> <LI> <I>DsCAs</I> were regulated differently under salt and CO<SUB>2</SUB> stresses. </LI> <LI> The salt enhanced activity of recombinant DsCA2b endorses salt tolerance of <I>D. salina</I>. </LI> <LI> DsCAs are predicted to play the key role in carbon acquisition in <I>D. salina</I>. </LI> </UL> </P>
시맨틱 프레임을 이용한 한국어 패러프레이즈 자동 평가 방법

본 연구는 지능형 QA시스템과 관련한 연구에서, 자동 패러프레이즈 생성 시스템을 평가하는 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 기존의 패러프레이즈 생성 시스템의 자동 평가 방법은 참조할 수 있는 패러프레이즈 정보의 양이 크게 제한되어 있었으며, 원 문장의 콘텍스트(context)와 이에 의존하는 통사적 구조(syntactic structure) 및 의미적 구조의 유사성을 고려하지 않고, 단순 구/단어 수준의 의미 유사성을 기반으로 생성된 패러프레이즈를 평가하였다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구는 시맨틱 프레임(semantic frame)을 이용한 패러프레이즈 문장 평가 방법을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 방법론은 문장의 콘텍스트를 표현하는 프레임과 이러한 프레임이 발생시키는 통사적, 의미적 구조의 유사성을 바탕으로 원 문장과 패러프레이즈 문장의 ‘의미 유사성’, ‘어휘 형태 비 유사성’을 평가하는 방식이다.
