Divergent series in the generalized binomial transform
B. Borisov,V. Shkodrov 장전수학회 2007 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.14 No.1
This statue represents a generalization of the binomial transform for negative indexes. This is important to uniform the coe±cients in the expansion of the perturbation function in the restricted three-body problem. It is described a method of summation of divergent series. It is examined the generalized binomial transform of the geometric sequence and the k-binomial transform of r -tuple.
Attacking and Repairing the Improved ModOnions Protocol-Tagging Approach
( Nikita Borisov ),( Marek Klonowski ),( Mirosław Kutyłowski ),( Anna Lauks-dutka ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2010 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.4 No.3
In this paper, we present a new class of attacks against an anonymous communication protocol, originally presented in ACNS 2008. The protocol itself was proposed as an improved version of ModOnions, which exploits universal re-encryption in order to avoid replay attacks. However, ModOnions allowed the detour attack, introduced by Danezis to re-route ModOnions to attackers in such a way that the entire path is revealed. The ACNS 2008 proposal addressed this by using a more complicated key management scheme. The revised protocol is immune to detour attacks. We show, however, that the ModOnion construction is highly malleable and this property can be exploited in order to redirect ModOnions. Our attacks require detailed probing and are less efficient than the detour attack, but they can nevertheless recover the full onion path while avoiding detection and investigation. Motivated by this, we present modifications to the ModOnion protocol that dramatically reduce the malleability of the encryption primitive. It addresses the class of attacks we present and it makes other attacks difficult to formulate.
Will to Meaning as Truth “Ecce Homo”: Philosophical Bases and Meditative Exercise
Sergey Borisov 강원대학교 인문과학연구소 2019 Journal of Humanities Therapy Vol.10 No.1
The article deals with the problem of finding the meaning of human existence in the context of philosophical practice of self-care. The truth in this context is subjectivity in its entirety, which can be discovered in conditions of free and responsible choice. Whatever substantive choice a person is standing, he always chooses himself. The article also presents meditative exercises to mobilize the existential potential of the individual in the face of the problem of meaninglessness of existence.
THE p-BINOMIAL TRANSFORM, CAUCHY NUMBERS AND FIGURATE NUMBERS
BORISLAV STANISHEV BORISOV 장전수학회 2016 Proceedings of the Jangjeon mathematical society Vol.19 No.4
The concepts binomial transform and Pascal triangle are generalized in this paper as the p-binomial transform and the Pascal trapezium. To prove some properties of the p-binomial transform a generalization of the parallel summation identity is derived. It is shown that the Cauchy numbers used in the equation of the center in celestial mechanics are a special case of the p-binomial transform of n-tuples. This result is used to find a relation between the Cauchy numbers and the binomial coefficients. Finally it is shown that some of the figurate numbers are also the p-binomial transform of n-tuples. Using this it is derived an identical form for presenting them with only three parameters.
Modification of Russia’s Trade Pattern under External Shocks in 2014 and Beyond
Gleb V,Borisov,Liudmila V,Popova,Ehsan Rasoulinezhad 세종대학교 경제통합연구소 2020 Journal of Economic Integration Vol.35 No.2
This research examines the impact of macroeconomic shocks and political measures, including sanctions, imposed by western countries on trade flows, commodity compositions, and import-export flows to the Russian Federation. To this end, we use 2012-2016 panel date to produce gravity equations containing the determining features of Russia’s import-export volumes of agricultural, raw material, and industrial goods. Our results confirm that macroeconomic shocks led to a significant reduction in trade. A conservative estimate of the marginal impact ranges between 9% and 34%, depending on the sector and the direction of trade. This study also shows that trade-restrictive measures made a significant contribution to trade reductions. Open diplomatic conflicts had a particularly negatively strong impact on Russia’s trade with Ukraine and Turkey, and the marginal effect was in the range of 30%-50%. The introduction of a food embargo by Russia resulted in a significant reduction in agricultural imports from developed countries, although the decrease in Russian trade with this group in other sectors can largely be explained by the negative impact of macroeconomic shocks. These findings demonstrate that Russia’s trade in some product groups has been reoriented to countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Eurasian Economic Union.

Objectives: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is considered as a deadly medical condition that affects a growing number of people worldwide. Targeted therapy of ESCC has been suggested recently and required extensive research. With cyclin D1 as a therapeutic target, the present study aimed at evaluating the anticancer effects of doxorubicin (Dox) or Hypericum perforatum L. (HP) extract encapsulated in poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles on the ESCC cell line KYSE30. Methods: Nanoparticles were prepared using double emulsion method. Cytotoxicity assay was carried out to measure the anti-proliferation activity of Dox-loaded (Dox NPs) and HP-loaded nanoparticles (HP NPs) against both cancer and normal cell lines. The mRNA gene expression of cyclin D1 was evaluated to validate the cytotoxicity studies at molecular level. Results: Free drugs and nanoparticles significantly inhibited KYSE30 cells by 55-73% and slightly affected normal cells up to 29%. The IC50 of Dox NPs and HP NPs was ~ 0.04-0.06 mg/mL and ~ 0.6-0.7 mg/mL, respectively. Significant decrease occurred in cyclin D1 expression by Dox NPs and HP NPs (P < 0.05). Exposure of KYSE-30 cells to combined treatments including both Dox and HP extract significantly increased the level of cyclin D1 expression as compared to those with individual treatments (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Dox NPs and HP NPs can successfully and specifically target ESCC cells through downregulation of cyclin D1. The simultaneous use of Dox and HP extract should be avoided for the treatment of ESCC.
