Applications of Euler-Seidel matrices
A. Dil,V. Kurt 장전수학회 2009 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.18 No.2
In this paper we give some applications of Euler-Seidel matrices. We use the algorithm method to investigate structures of Fibonacci and Lucas num- bers. We also proved that p (p - 1) + 1 - th row of the Euler-Seidel matrices over Zp (p is prime) is either zero sequence or it repeats the initial sequence.

Since 2009, Morocco has had a law governing the processing of personal data, the law 09-08, and a supervisory authority, the CNDP (National Commission for the Protection of Personal Data). Since May 2018, the European General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR) entered into force, which applies outside the EU in certain cases and therefore to certain Moroccan companies. The question of the protection of personal data is primarily addressed to the customer. The latter may not only be a victim of crime linked to ICT, but also have to face risks linked to the collection and abusive processing of his personal data by the private and public sectors. Often the customer does not really know how their data is stored, nor for how long and for what purpose. This fact raises the question of satisfying customer requirements, in particular for organizations that have adopted a quality approach based on ISO 9001 standard. In order to master these constraints, Moroccan companies have to adopt strategies based on modern quality management techniques, especially the adoption of principles issued from the international standard ISO 9001 while being confirmed by the law 09-08. It is through ISO 9001 and the law 09-08 that these companies can refer to recognized approaches in terms of quality and compliance. The major challenge for these companies is to have a Quality approach that allows the coexistence between the law 09-08 and ISO 9001 standard and this article deals within this specific context.
Frequency Identification of Hammerstein-Wiener Systems with Backlash Input Nonlinearity
Adil Brouri,Laila Kadi,Smail Slassi 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2017 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.15 No.5
The problem of system identification is addressed for Hammerstein-Wiener systems that involve memoryoperator of backlash type bordered by straight lines as input nonlinearity. The system identification of this model isinvestigated by using easily generated excitation signals. Moreover, the prior knowledge of the nonlinearity type, being backlash or backlash-inverse, is not required. The nonlinear dynamics and the unknown structure of the linearsubsystem lead to a highly nonlinear identification problem. Presently, the output nonlinearity may be noninvertibleand the linear subsystem may be nonparametric. Interestingly, the system nonlinearities are identified first using apiecewise constant signal. In turn, the linear subsystem is identified using a frequency approach.
Optimization Strategies and Nonlinear Control for Hybrid Renewable Energy Conversion System
Adil Mansouri,Abdelmounime El Magri,Rachid Lajouad,Aziz Watil,Fouad Giri 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.11
This paper focuses on controlling and optimizing a hybrid renewable energy system. The complex interactions and intermittent nature of renewable sources pose challenges to grid stability, necessitating sophisticated control strategies. The system includes a photovoltaic generator and a wind energy conversion system with a permanent magnet synchronous generator. Two key innovations are presented: i) connecting the photovoltaic generator to the grid in hybridization with the wind turbine without using a DC/DC converter, simplifying the structure, reducing losses, and ensuring grid stability and reliability; and ii) designing multi-objective controllers using the maximum power point tracking method based solely on electrical parameters, leading to fewer sensors and higher reliability compared to previous methods that required additional measurements like wind speed and irradiance. To address these challenges, a multiloop nonlinear controller is proposed, employing integral sliding mode and backstepping design techniques based on an accurate nonlinear system model. The stability of the multiloop control system is ensured using a suitable Lyapunov function.
Job Scheduling Algorithms on Grid Computing: State-of- the Art
Adil Yousif,Sulaiman Mohd Nor,Mohammed Bakri Bashir 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.8 No.6
Scheduling jobs on computational grids is identified as NP-complete problem due to the heterogeneity of resources; the resources belong to different administrative domains and apply different management policies. This paper conducted an extensive and wide literature review to study the state of the art of grid scheduling algorithms. This review starts with an overview of the grid technologies and a description of the grid resource management systems. The evolution of the grid scheduling mechanisms is illustrated in this paper started from basic scheduling mechanisms such as Min-Min and Max-Min approaches ending with the swarm intelligence optimization methods. The swarm intelligence and evolutionary mechanisms are also presented and critically analyzed.
Current Approaches in Development of Immunotherapeutic Vaccines for Breast Cancer
Adil Allahverdiyev,Gamze Tari,Melahat Bagirova,Emrah Sefik Abamor 한국유방암학회 2018 Journal of breast cancer Vol.21 No.4
Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. In developed as well as developing countries, breast cancer is the most common cancer found among women. Currently, treatment of breast cancer consists mainly of surgery, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and radiotherapy. In recent years, because of increased understanding of the therapeutic potential of immunotherapy in cancer prevention, cancer vaccines have gained importance. Here, we review various immunotherapeutic breast cancer vaccines including peptide-based vaccines, whole tumor cell vaccines, gene-based vaccines, and dendritic cell vaccines. We also discuss novel nanotechnology-based approaches to improving breast cancer vaccine efficiency.
Disseminated Cryptococcosis Incorrectly Managed: a Case Report
Adil Maleb,Aziza Hami,Yassine Ben Lahlou,Somiya Lamrabat,Safaa Rifai,Nawal Rahmani,Mohammed Bensalah,Mohammed Frikh,Abdelhay Lemnouer,Mostafa Elouennass 대한의진균학회 2019 대한의진균학회지 Vol.24 No.1
Disseminated cryptococcosis is a rare fungal infection, which mainly occurs in immunocompromised patients, and the diagnosis is difficult. Therefore, it is less likely to be considered in immunocompetent patients. Here, we present a case of fatal cryptococcal infection of the pleural fluid and ascites in a patient seronegative for HIV. The patient was a 45-year old man who was followed for Crohn's disease and treated with steroids and an immunosuppressant (azathioprine). The culture of pleural and ascites fluids showed the presence of yeasts colonies identified as Cryptococcus neoformans. Bacteriological examination of the blood culture or cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was not prescribed. The HIV serology was negative. At the fourth day of treatment, the patient died because of the deterioration of neurological and hepatocellular functions. The main diagnostic problems that led to this fatal outcome were non-suspicion of an at-risk patient, lack of microbiological analysis of the blood or CSF, and inadequate antifungal therapy.
