미국 텍사스주 알링턴 공공도서관의 한국 자료 서비스에 관한 연구

세계의 글로벌화는 공공도서관계에도 그 영향이 지대하여, 현재 미국 공공도서관에는 자국어뿐 아니라 전 세계 각종의 다국어 자료에 대한 폭넓은 서비스가 실시되고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 본 연구는 미국 공공도서관내 한국 자료 서비스에 대한 현황을 조사하고 텍사스주 알링턴 공공도서관을 중심으로 한국 자료에 대한 수집, 정리, 종류, 이용, 관리에 대해 연구하였다. 이 연구가 미국내 기타 지역의 한국 자료 서비스에 대한 인식을 제고하며, 한국내 공공도서관의 다언어 자료 서비스에 대한 기초 마련에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다. This research deals with the study of the Arlington Public Library and present situations of public libraries providing Korean language materials services in the United States. The focus of this research is on aspects of the Arlington Public Library, Texas : collecting, classifying, Possessing. circulating, and managing the Korean language materials. In addition, this research includes the description of the current trends of Korean language services in public libraries around the US with literature review methods. This research would be a useful steppingstone when libraries in other countries begin services with Korean language materials, or when public libraries in Korea begin to provide foreign language services.

A Study of the Differences of the Reading Motivation Based on Grade Level, Gender, and Birth Order

독서 동기유발의 정도는 학생들의 나이, 성별, 관심 및 적성에 따라 각각 다르게 나타난다. 따라서 각 학생들이 독서 동기유발의 여러 가지 요인 중 어떤 요인에 더 영향을 받는지를 이해하는 것은 학생들을 평생 독서가로 이끄는 역할을 하는 사서교사에게 가장 필수적인 척도가 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학년별 성별. 그리고 출생순서별로 독서 동기유발에 차이점이 있는지를 살피고 어떤 요인으로 학생들의 독서 흥미유발을 시도할 것인가를 조사하기 위해서 질문지법을 사용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 질문지는 독서 동기를 유발하는 요소를 6가지로 범주화하여 25개 항목으로 구성하였으며. 278명(2학년 142명 5학년 136명/ 140명의 남학생. 138명의 여학생/ 119명의 첫째, 그리고 159명의 둘째 이상으로 태어난 학생)을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과 2학년과 5학년간에는 독서 동기유발의 정도에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으나. 남학생과 여학생 그리고 첫 자녀와 기타 출생순서의 자녀에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 연구의 끝 부분에는 학생 개개인 또는 그룹별을 위한 독서 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 실제적인 방안과 활용법을 제시하였다. Knowing about each student's reading motivation is important to school librarians in producing life-long readers in their students This research asks the questions. are there any significant differences of reading motivation between grade level gender and birth order? and what kinds of reading motivation can encourage students to read books? The questionnaire method composed of 25 items was used for 278 students. The sample consisted of 142 students in 2nd, 136 in 5th grade, 140 boys and 138 girls. and 119 first born and 159 other birth order students. Finding shows that significant differences were observed for the reading motivation in 2nd and 5th grade, no significant differences between boys and girls. and no significant differences between birth order students were observed. It concludes with recommendations of reading motivation to each student or group.

Now, more than any other time, education experts in Korea are focusing on the importance of reading. Based on this circumstance. it is necessary to introduce and develop reading assessments in the library and information science. The research introduces reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint for the purpose of increasing reading efficiency through literature reviews. There are four categories reading attitude, interest, motivation and perception on reading. Also the research presents the suggestion to make a new reading assessment tool at a later time. When developing reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint, it is necessary to establish the items through which how a student feels himself or herself as a reader, and subsequently how teachers, parents, and friends feel the student as a reader. Besides establishing of these appropriate items. a developer should provide directions for administration and interpretation.

선별급여 도입이 위암수술의 건강보험 진료비 및 진료행태에 미치는 영향

Background: Selective health benefit was introduced for decreasing economic burden of patients. Medical devices with economic uncertainty have been covered as selective health benefit by National Health Insurance since December 2013. We aimed to analyze impact of selective health benefit to medical expenditure and provider behavior focused on electrosurgery (ultrasonic shears, electrothermal bipolar vessel sealers) for gastric cancer patients covered since December 2014. Methods: We used the National Health Insurance claims data of 2,698 patients underwent gastric cancer surgery between August 2014 and March 2015. Medical cost and patient sharing per inpatient day were analyzed to verify that covering electrosurgery increased medical expenditure and changed provider behavior from open surgery to endoscopic or laparoscopic surgery. Additionally, we analyzed the claim rate of medical device or goods relating gastric endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery. Results: Medical cost and patient sharing per inpatient day were increased after covering electosurgery as selective health benefit (39,724/1,421 won). However, there were no medical expenditure increases after adjusting claim of electosurgery and patient sharing was decreased 1,057 won especially. The coverage of selective health benefit did not increase the claim rate of medical device or goods related endoscopic or laparoscopic surgery, either. Conclusion: Covering electosurgery decreased patient economic burden and did not change of provider behavior. Expanding selective health benefit is needed to decrease economic burden of severe patients. Further study should evaluate the long term effect with accumulated data.

Fluid inside the city as a base city, the city features a positive(+) impact beyond the hub of the negative(-) were analyzed as influential.
