신체상과 스포츠 정신력에 따른 최대근력의 상관 및 오즈비 분석

이병근. 신체상과 스포츠 정신력에 따른 최대근력의 상관 및 오즈비 분석. 운동과학, 제20권 제4호. 449-460, 2011. 본 연구의 목적은 성인 남성을 대상으로 하여 신체상, 스포츠 정신력 및 1-RM의 관계를 분석하고 신체상과 스포츠 정신력에 따른 최대근력 상수준의 오즈비를 산출하여, 심리 요인과 최대근력의 관계를 규명하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 웨이트 트레이닝 경험이 2개월 이상인 성인 남자 80명이었다(24.9±5.8세, 72.3±8.5 kg, 174.8±5.3 cm). 최대근력은 5동작으로 측정하였으며, 단위체중당 1-RM으로 환산하고 Z점수로 전환하여 부위와 전체합계로 계산하였다. 신체상(body image)은 Rowe(1996)가 제안한 설문지를 조정환과 송금주(2002)가 번안하여 타당도를 검증한 방법으로 측정하였고, 스포츠 정신력은 김원배(2002)가 제안한 방법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 1-RM과 신체상 및 스포츠 정신력의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 상관분석(correlation analysis), 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis) 및 로지스틱 회귀분석(logistic regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 전체합계의 최대근력은 신체상 6개 요소 중 3개 요소 및 신체상 합계와, 스포츠 정신력 4개 요소 중 3개 및 스포츠 정신력 합계와 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 신체상의 경우 전반적 외모 평가가 채택되었으며, 스포츠 정신력의 경우 승부욕이 채택되었다. 로지스틱 회귀분석(logistic regression analysis)을 실시한 결과, 총 7개의 신체상 영역 중 5개영역에서 중수준이나 상수준의 오즈비에 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 총 5개의 스포츠 정신력의 영역 중 승부욕과 스포츠 정신력 합계의 2개 영역에서만 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 결론적으로 많은 신체상과 스포츠 정신력 요소의 수준이 증가할수록 1-RM이 증가하였으며, 신체상과 스포츠 정신력 등급이 올라갈수록 1-RM의 상수준 발현 가능성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후에는 1-RM 등급에 따른 신체상과 스포츠 정신력 상수준 발현 가능성도 추가적으로 검증할 필요가 있겠다. The purpose of this study is to analyse the relationship among body image, sport mental power and 1-RM for male adult, to calculate high grade odd ratio of 1-RM by body image and sport mental power grade, and to examine the association between mental factors and muscle strength. The subjects were consisted of 80 males (24.9±5.8 yrs). Total 5 movements of 1-RM were measured, divided by weight, and transferred Z score. Body image were measured by questionnaire of Cho et al. (2002), and Sport mental power were measured by questionnaire of Kim (2002). The correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and logistic regression analysis were applied to examine the relationship among body image, sport mental power and 1-RM. There were significant correlation between total 1-RM and 3 area of body image 7 area), and between total 1-RM and 3 area of sport mental power 5 area. As a results of multiple regression analysis, overall appearance evaluation was selected on body image, and winning spirit was selected on sport mental power. As a result of logistic regression analysis, there were significant difference on the odds ratio of upper or midium grade of 5 area of body image 7 area, and on the odds ratio of upper or midium grade of 2 area of sport mental power 5 area. It were concluded that the more the body image and sport mental power on several area were increased, the more 1-RM were increased, and the more the level of body image and sport mental power were increased, the more the odds ratio of upper level increased.
스포츠 현장 활용을 위한 신체활동량의 측정과 추정 방법 분류

The purpose of this study is to analyze the principles, characteristics, and application methods of the measurement and estimation methods of physical activity, and to classify the variety methods for application on sports fields. The measurement and estimation of energy expenditure during physical activity is important for health improvements, fitness training, and preventing disease. The physical activity is measured by direct measurement, indirect measurement, and estimation. The principle' of direct measurement is the law of energy preservation, and the Bomb calorimeter is its measurement equipment. Direct measurement has many limitations, Therefore, indirect measurement by oxygen consumption is usually used. Indirect measurement methods of energy expenditure include the Douglas bag, Autonomic and Portable metabolic analysis system. The Douglas bag is used to collect expired gas. Autonomic metabolic analysis system can measure variables such as oxygen consumption, ventilation, respiratory exchange ratio, simultaneously by connection with the computer. Portable metabolic analysis system was developed to measure energy expenditure during activity of out-field. The energy expenditure by direct method can be measured exactly by the development of measurement equipment and supporting devices. However, it has several limitations such as cost, efforts of subjects, and efforts of researchers for mass group measurements. Therefore, the estimation method was developed for convenience, even the validity was decreased, The estimation methods include motion sensor, measurement of physiological responses, observation and Time/Motion analyses, activity diary method, and physical activities questionnaire, etc. There were a lot of methods used for the measurement and estimation of energy expenditure. These methods used by demands of exactness, convenience, cost, time, etc.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study were to categorize the type of previous 1-RM prediction studies, to review the research direction and limitation, and to suggest for the future studies. METHODS: The studies of 1-RM prediction were categorized depend on 4 type, and analyzed research process and main results. Research review was summarized, and suggested several direction. RESULTS: The 1-RM research was progressed 1-RM prediction based submaximal weight and repetition, 1-RM prediction include anthropometry variables, 1-RM prediction using various device, and studies on special groups. There were following the suggestion for the future studies. The various prediction methods need to be classify based on gender, training level, aging, training movement, and measurement device, and to be suggest the possibility and limitation. The improvement of explanation would be examinate the effects submaximal variable based on anthropometry methods. The methods using RPE and cognition intensity be require for convenient aspects. The electrical device studies using accelerometer, smart phone, wearable device would be promising area. CONCLUSIONS: 1-RM prediction studies has been processed related with convenience and usefulness. Meaning research would be reported based on these suggestion.
