        성인 언어재활에 대한 언어재활사들의 인식, 요구 및 경험

        목적 : 본 연구는 언어재활사를 대상으로 성인 언어재활에 대한 인식과 요구도를 파악하여 성인 언어재활을 위한 대학의 교육과정과 국가의 정책 수립 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 방법 : 본 연구는 현장에 근무하는 언어재활사를 대상으로 설문을 배부하여 회수된 152부를 최종 분석대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 목적에 알맞게 설문을 개발하는 과정을 거쳤으며, 최종 설문지는 연구대상자 기본정보 7문항, 성인 언어재활에 대한 인식 4문항, 교육 요구도 7문항, 평가 및 중재 경험 문항 3문항을 포함하여 총 21문항으로 구성하였다. 설문은 구글 설문지를 통해 제작하였으며, 현장 언어재활사에게 URL 주소로 배포하고 회수하였다. 결과 : 먼저, 성인 언어재활에 대해 중요하다고 인식하는 언어재활사의 비율이 전체의 약 93%였으나, 중재 자신감에서는 자신 있다고 응답한 비율이 전체의 약 59%임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 성인 언어재활에 대한 교육 요구도가 있다고 응답한 비율이 매우 높았는데, 대학(혹은 대학원)기관에서가 약 91%, 학회 및 협회에서가 약 96%였다. 마지막으로, 중요성 인식과 중재 자신감에서 자격증 급수에 따른 유의미한 차이가 나타났는데, 중요성에 대한 인식은 2급 언어재활사가 1급보다 높았으나 중재 자신감의 경우 반대였다. 결론 : 언어재활사는 후천적 장애인의 증가와 초고령 사회를 대비하는 현시점에서 성인 언어재활의 필요성에 대해서 인식하고 있다. 따라서 추후 성인 언어재활의 평가 및 중재 경험이 확대될 수 있도록 다양한 교육 프로그램 등의 개발이 필요할 것이다. Purpose : This study intends to present basic data for preparing university curriculum and national policy by identifying the awareness and needs of speech-language pathologists for adult speech-language rehabilitation. Methods : This study was distributed to SLPs, with 152 questionnaires eventually included in the analysis. The questionnaire in this study was developed according to the purpose of the study. The final questionnaire comprised 21 questions (7 participant information, 4 perception, 7 educational need, 3 experience) regarding speech-language rehabilitation in adults. The survey was created through Google Forms and distributed by URL address. Results : First, nearly 93% of SLPs reported they have realized the importance of adult speech-language rehabilitation, although only 59% have confidence in the intervention. Second, there was a high percentage of educational needs for adult speech-language rehabilitation, with about 91% of university (or graduate schools) and about 96% of the academic organizations. Finally, there was a significant difference in the group according to the SPL license. The SLP group with level 2 certificates showed significantly higher difference than group 1 in awareness of importance. However, the results were reversed when measuring confidence in intervention. Conclusions : SLPs recognize the necessity of adult speech-language rehabilitation in preparation for the increase in the number of people with acquired disabilities and the aging society. Therefore, there is a need for various educational programs to be developed so that the evaluation and arbitration experience of adult speech-language rehabilitation can be expanded in the future.

        뇌졸중 환자의 치료와 결과분석을 하는 물리치료사들의 EBP 활용도

        Purpose The purpose of this study was to identify education, attitudes and beliefs, interest and perceived role, self-efficacy and barriers to physical therapists` implementation of evidence-based practice for people with stroke. Methods The participants were 120 physical therapists providing services to people with stroke in Gwang-ju. The questionnaire contained items to evaluate practitioner and organizational characteristics and perceptions of research considered to influence evidence-based practice. The prevalence of practitioner and organizational factors was estimated using percentages. Logistic regression was used to examine relationships between sociodemographic and practice characteristics and each practitioner factor. Results 40% of respondents had learned the foundations of EBP in their academic preparation or received training in searching or appraising research literature. 88.3% agreed that research findings are useful. Self-efficacy ratings were 45%. Conclusion Lack of education, negative perceptions about research and physical therapists` role in evidencebased practice, and low self-efficacy to perform EBP activities represent barriers to implementating EBP for people with stroke that can be addressed through continuing education.

      • 이중언어 환경 아동의 모음 포먼트 특성에 관한 연구

        The aim of this study was to investigate the pitch and formant characteristics of vowels produced by monolingual and bilingual children. We collected sustained phonation of single vowels, /a/, /i/, /u/, from children aged 6 through 10 and compared their acoustic characteristics, fo, F1, F2. Results showed a significant difference between the groups in fo and F1 in the sustained phonation /a/, but not in F2. In the sustained phonation /i/, F2 revealed a significant difference but fo and F1 showed no significant difference. The F2 showed a significant difference in the sustained phonation /u/, but fo and F1 revealed no significant difference between the groups. It is needed to study further on the acoustic characteristics of bilingual children so that we can make a proper language intervention strategy for them.

        다문화가정 아동의 메타언어 특성

        The purpose of this study was to characterize the metalanguage of children from multicultural families. Fifty-one subjects consisting of multicultural and monocultural children between elementary school grades one and three were chosen. This study examined matching words, judgement of true and false, and determining correct sentences. The results are as follows. First, there are significant differences between elementary school children in first, second, and third grades in matching words. Second, there are no significant differences between first to third grade elementary school children and multicultural and monocultural children in the judgement of true and false. Third, there are significant differences between first to third grade elementary school children and multicultural and monocultural children in determining correct sentences.

        이중언어 환경 아동의 음운변동 특성

        이 연구는 이중언어 환경 아동들과 단일언어 환경 아동들의 음운변동률에 대한 조사를 실시하여 이중언어 환경 아동과 단일언어 환경 아동의 음운변동 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 이중언어 환경 아동 4, 5, 6세 각 7명, 9명, 7명씩 총 23명과 단일언어 환경 아동 4, 5, 6세 각 4명, 9명, 6명씩 총 19명을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 이 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 이중언어 환경 아동들과 단일언어 환경 아동들의 음운변동률에 대하여 발달적인 음운변동 과 비발달적인 음운변동으로 살펴보았다. 발달적인 음운변동의 경우 종성생략 변동에서 언어환경간 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 비발달적인 음운변동의 경우 언어환경과 연령간 분산 분석 결과 이완음화, 모음편차, 첨가, 치조음생략에서 언어환경간 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 그러나 언어환경간과 연령간의 상호작용은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 또한 탈기식음화에서 언어환경과 연령간의 상호작용이 통계적으로 유의하였으나 언어환경간과 연령간은 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. This study is about phonological processes of bilingual language environment children and monolingual language environment children and is compared between bilingual language environment children and monolingual language environment children in phonological process characteristics. 23 subjects of bilingual language environment children were chosen between 4 to 6 years, 7, 9 and 7. 19 subjects of monolingual language environment children were chosen between 4 to 6 years, 4, 9 and 6. The results are as following. This study compared bilingual language environment children and monolingual language environment children in developmental phonological processes and nondevelopmental phonological processes. There are some significant differences language environment groups in final omission in developmental phonological processes. Also There are some significant differences between language environment groups and ages in results of two-way ANOVA in lenition, vowel declination, addition and alveolar omission of nondevelopmental phonological processes. But there is no significant difference between language environment groups and ages interaction. And there are some significant differences between language environment groups and ages interaction in deaspiration but there is no significant difference between language environment groups and ages.

        뇌졸중 환자의 낙상 예측을 위한 Four Square Step Test의 활용에 관한 연구

        Purpose: This study was designed to evaluate the clinical utility of the Four square step test (FSST) for predicting falls in stroke patients, to compare the ability of the FSST test to discriminate between subgroups of fallers, and to determine if the test has any predictive value in identifying stroke patients who will fall. Methods: Stroke patients (N=37) who could walk at least 50 m with minimal assistance were recruited consecutively when attending a physical therapy session during their rehabilitation. Dynamic standing balance was measured using the FSST. The main outcome measures were FSST time and fall number. Numbers of falls were compared with FSST scores. Differences between the groups in FSST scores were examined using a t-test and 1-way analysis of variance. Post hoc analysis using the Tukey B procedure was used to identify specific group differences. Alpha was set at 0.05. Results: A total of 15 participants (40.5%) reported falls 6 had recurrent falls (2 falls) and 9 fell once. The mean FSST time differed significantly between groups with zero and multiple falls. A cutoff score of greater than 17 seconds on the FSST was associated with a sensitivity of 83% and a specificity of 84% for the identification of subjects with multiple risk factors for falls. Conclusion: The FSST is a feasible and valid clinical test of dynamic standing balance and can predict falls in post-stroke patients.

      • 자율주행 중 돌발상황에서 대화형 음성 에이전트의 의인화 수준에 따른 사용경험 비교

        인공지능 기술의 발전과 함께 자율주행 차량 내 대화형 음성 에이전트(Conversational voice agent, CVA) 시스템이 적극적으로 도입되고 있다. CVA는 음성 사용자 인터페이스(Voice user interface, VUI)를 기반으로 사용자의 명령을 이해하고 정보를 전달하는 기능을 수행하며 최근에는 의인화 기법을 적용하여 사용자와 공감하고 친구처럼 대화할 수 있는 역할로도 그 기능이 확대되고 있다. 의인화 기법의 적용은 그 차원 및 수준에 따라 사용자 경험에 미치는 영향이 다를 수 있다. 특히, 자율주행 상황은 다양한 주행 맥락을 포함하고 있으므로 이에 대한 CVA 의 의인화 적용 연구가 지속적으로 필요하다. 본 연구는 인간 본성(Human nature, HN) 및 음성 특성을 고려하여 CVA 의 의인화 수준을 조작하여 신뢰감과 지각된 의인화에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 그 결과 의인화 수준이 신뢰감과 지각된 의인화에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 지각된 의인화에서는 HN 특성과 음성 특성 간의 교호작용이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 자율주행 중 급정거 상황에 대해 두 차원의 의인화 수준에 따른 영향을 파악하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

        뇌성마비아동 보호자의 삶의 질 측정과 물리치료 서비스의 만족도 조사

        Purpose: This study evaluated of quality of life (QOL) and physical therapy satisfaction (PTS) in caregivers of cerebral palsy children. Methods: Eighty six caregivers in Gwang-ju were examined. The caregivers' QOL was assessed through self-reports using the WHO Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF), and the data was analyzed separately for each of its 5 domains. Physical therapy satisfaction was assessed using a self-reported questionnaire and the data was analyzed separately for the 2 domains. The results were processed by the mean and standard deviation and then verified by ANOVA and a t-test to determine the significant differences in the QOL and PTS. The factors affecting the QOL were processed by logistic regression. Results: Life environment domain of the QOL across the caregivers factors showed a statistically significant difference in age at natal, monthly income and education. The birth order in the cerebral palsy child factor showed a significant difference in the general, physical and emotional domain of the QOL. The PTS showed a significant difference in the delivery of therapy domain and in the birth order and walking condition of the environment domain. Caregivers education was found to be associated independently with the life environment domain of QOL. Conclusion: Because the QOL of caregivers is an important treatment goal for children with cerebral palsy, early family intervention should be considered.

      • 대구지역 물리치료사들의 직업과 관련된 근골격계장애 조사

        Disorders of the musculoskeletal system are common in physical therapist. Physical therapist are exposed to occupational risk factors leading to work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMD). Back pain is an especially frequent complaint. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence and anatomical areas of WMD and the job factors that may be associated with these disorders in physical therapists. An 2-page questionnaire was used. 105 physical therapist responded. Despcriptive statistics, Chi-square analysis and odds ratio were used. The results were as follows: 1. Ninty-nine respondents(94.2%) reported experiencing WMD. 2. The highest prevalences of WMD in physical therapist were in the following areas;lowback(74.7%), shoulder(66.6%), neck and wrist(41.4%). 3. The prevalence of WMD was affected by age, years as physical therapist. and number of patients. 4. The job factor rated most problematic for physical therapists was 'performing th same task over and over' (41.3%), 'treatingan excessive number of patients in 1 day'(39.5%)

      • 물리치료사의 증거에 근거한 물리치료 실태조사

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe physical therapists' self-reported: (1) attitudes and beliefs about evidence~based practice(EBP), (2) education, knowledge, and skills related to obtaining and evaluating evidence, (3) attention to the literature relevant to practice, (4) access to and availability of information and (5) perceptions of the barriers to evidence-based practice. Methods: Our study sample consisted of a random sample of 90 physical therapists in gwang-ju and junnam. Participants completed a questionnaire. Responses were summarized for each item, and logistic regression analyses were used to examine relationships among variables. Results: According to the respondents, the primary barrier to implementing EBP was lack of time. The results suggest they believe that the use of evidence in practice was necessary, that the literature is helpful to them in their practice and decision making, and that quality of patient care is better when evidence is used. Many of the beliefs, skills and behaviors we examined were related to the education courses and sex. The majority of the respondents had access to online information at home. Conclusion: They noted that they needed to increase the use of evidence in their daily practice.
