황화아연의 응용 기술 최신 동향 분석: 특허정보분석을 중심으로

Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) is one of the II-VI semiconducting materials, having novel fundamental properties and diverse areas of application such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs), electroluminescence, flat panel displays, infrared windows, catalyst, chemical sensors, biosensors, lasers and biodevices, etc. However, despite the remarkable versatility and prospective potential of ZnS, research and development (R&D) into its applications has not been performed in much detail relative to research into other inorganic semiconductors. In this study, based on global patent information, we analyzed recent technical trends and the current status of R&D into ZnS applications. Furthermore, we provided new technical insight into ZnS applicable fields using in-depth analysis. Especially, this report suggests that ZnS, due to its infrared-transmitting optical property, is a promising material in astronomy and military fields for lenses of infrared systems. The patent information analysis in this report will be utilized in the process of identifying the current positioning of technology and the direction of future R&D.

21세기 현대사회는 지식과 정보가 국가의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 지식기반 사회로서 최고가 아니면 살아남을 수 없는 무한경쟁 사회이다. 이를 위해 우리나라도 국가 차원에서 성장동력별 사업단을 통해서 장래 국가 위상과 미래 먹거리를 좌우할 차세대성장동력산업과 21세기프론티어연구개발사업 등을 관리하고 있다. 하지만, 사업단은 주로 사업관리와 연구관리에 편중되고 있어 연구개발의 경쟁력 향상에 결정적인 역할을 하는 ‘정확한 정보의 신속한 입수’에는 한계가 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 미래 성장동력기술의 올바른 방향 설정과 안정적인 추진에 핵심인 적확한 정보를 제공하기 위한 인터넷 기반의 정보확보 전략을 고찰하였다. We are faced with the age of limitless competition because knowledge and information are the most important to nation's competition and we should struggle to obtain them. Our country made some programmes such as next growth engine and 21c frontier R&D to prepare future. 우리나라는 1960년대에 공업화를 추진하면서 선진국을 답습하는 기술추격형 전략을 구사하여 괄목할 만한 경제성장을 이루었다. 그러나, 선진국이 기술개발을 하면서 겪은 시행착오를 회피하면서 시간과 비용을 절감할 수는 있었지만, 모방형 전략은 더 이상 앞서 나가지 못하는 한계가 있다. 최근에 대두되고 있는 우리 경제의 ‘샌드위치 위기론’도 결국은 이런 이유에서 비롯된 것이다. 그러므로, 우리나라 기업이 급변하는 과학기술을 미리 예측하고, 미래유망기술을 선점한다면 기업의 경쟁력도 그만큼 높아질 것이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 미래유망기술을 발굴하기 위한 해외 선진 기관의 사례 분석을 통하여 시사점을 도출, 기업에 도움이 되는 전략을 모색하였다. Our country's fast-growing economy was due to the strategy that we followed the advanced countries in 1960s. Although the strategy made Korea avoid the mistakes that might happen and save the time and expense, it can't make the Korea more competitive than the advanced countries, which causes sandwich crisis lately. If the Korea companies can forecast the future science and technology and development the new emerging technologies earlier than competitive company, it would helpful to our economy. So, in this paper we analyzed the cases that the advanced countries searched the new emerging technologies and deduced the implications to make the strategy for companies in Korea.

세계화의 급속한 진전으로 과학기술에 관한 정보교류가 가속화되면서 신속하고 유용한 과학기술정보의 획득은 개인, 기업 그리고 국가의 생존은 물론이고 미래 발전전략 수립의 필수적 요소가 되고 있다. 특히, 기술력 중심의 국내 혁신형 중소기업에게는 해외 선진국의 기술개발 동향 제품 및 시장규모 등에 대한 산업정보 등의 신속, 정확한 파악이 더욱 중요하다. 우리나라의 미래성장의 동력원인 혁신형 중소기업에서 필요로 하는 정선된 고급 지식정보와 정책 및 연구개발에 아이디어를 제공하고, 선진 과학기술 트렌드를 미리 알려줄 수 있는 KISTI의 글로벌동향브리핑(GTB : Global Trends Briefing) 정보의 구축현황과 향후 발전방향에 대해서 고찰하였다.

이머징 시그널은 그 자체가 중요한 정보이기 때문에 세계의 많은 국가, 기업, 연구소들은 다양한 방법을 구사하며 이머징 시그널을 발굴하기 위해 노력한다. 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)은 자체 개발한 이머징 시그널 발굴체계를 통해 2008년에 43개의 후보 주제를 발굴하였다. 본 논문에서는 KISTI의 이머징 시그널 발굴체계인 NEST를 소개하였으며, 이를 통해 도출된 43개의 후보 주제중 온라인 델파이를 진행하여 최종 35개를 선정하였다.

The purpose of this study was to present improvement of science and engineering literacy education concern with 'fundamental engineering literacy'. This study was conducted through literature review and research on the actual condition of fundamental career ability of science and engineering college students. Based on the research results, engineering literacy (communication, personal relationship, career ethics, self-improvement and self-administer) subjects (cultural scientific understanding of engineering, social scientific understanding of engineering, engineering and communication, engineering and personal relationship) and managerial devices were provided. The proposal to improve engineering literacy education are as following : First, make clear the concepts of engineering literacy and subject for engineering literacy education. Second, support curriculum, teaching method and assessment in related to engineering literacy. Third, support training course for professional who will be in charge of engineering literacy education.
