      • Marine hydroids from the West and the South Sea of Korea

        著者는 韓國産 Hydorids의 分類學的 硏究를 하기 爲하여 1965年 7月에서 8月과 1966年 6月에서 7月까지의 兩年에 걸쳐 西海의 여러 島嶼에서 採集漢 海産 Hydroids를 同定, 分類漢 結果 3科 17屬 20種이였다. 이 中 19種이 韓國未記錄種이었다. In order to study the classification of Hydroids fauna of Korea, the present author has examined the materials which were collected by the author off the Southern and the Western sea of Korea during the periods from July to August, 1965 and from June to July, 1966. The results of the identification turned out to be 20 species, 17 genera and 3 families, among them 19 species have not been reported in Korea.

      • 중금속오염을 고려한 온산만 조간대 및 아조대의 무척추동물 군집분석

        한국 동해연안의 하나인 온산만 지역의 해양오염 실태를 파악하기 위해 저서동물 군집구조에 대한 정성, 정량적 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 조사지역별 습중량-개체수의 누적 κ-dominance curve 변화양상을 근거로 판단해 분석한 결과, 온산만의 내만에 위치한 춘도는 여름, 겨울 오후에 ()어서 오염지역으로, 대조군인 당사는 비오염지역,()각각 판정되었다. 이외에도 조사지역별 출현() () 있어서 대조구인 당사지역에 비해 춘도의 생물상이 ()대적으로 빈약하였으며 연체류중 패각만 채집된 ()에 있어서도 각각 춘도에서 16종, 당사에서는 (0로 커다란 차이를 나타내었다. 온산만에 대한 이러한 저서동물 군집결과는 이 주변의 비철금속 및 석유화학 공업단지로부터 ()입된 중금속으로 인하여 해수 및 생물농축량이 누적됨으로써 나타나는 중금속의 높은 농도와 관련이 있을 것으로 추측된다. The qualitative and quantitative analyses of macrozoobenthic communities sampled from Onsan bay of the eastern coast of Korea were conducted, in this study, to investigate the status of marine pollution. In each survey site, judging from the results of the combined κ-dominance curve for species biomass and individual numbers, it may be assessed that Chundo island, located in innerside of Onsan bay, was in the state of polluted condition both in the summar and winter seasons; on the other hand, Tangsa, the control site of this study, was in the state of unpolluted condition. The species composition of the Chundo island, in addition, was rather lower than that of the Tangsa in richness and showed critical differences with the control site in the number of molluscan species collected as dead shell(16 spp. from Chundo island; 2spp. from Tangsa respectively) It is inferred that the resultant macrozoobenthic community structure of the Onsan bay was related to the high concentration of heavy metals in seawater and bioaccumulation, attributed to the influx of the heavy metals from the surroundings, the nonferrous and the petrochemical industrial complex.

        著者는 漢國産 海초類의 分類學的 調査를 하기 爲하여 1965年 7月 5日-16日까지 濟州道一帶의 4個所와 1965年 8月 5日-14日까지 巨文島 一帶의 3個所에서 採集漢 것과 本生物學科에서 1958年 以來 東海沿岸과 南海의 島嶼에서 수집한 標本들을 分類, 同定漢 結果 6科 10屬 14種이었다. 이中 13種이 韓國未記錄種이었다.

        중금속오염을 고려한 온산만 조간대 및 아조대의 무척추동물 군집분석

      • A Systematic Study on Dendrochirotida(Echinodermata:Holothuroidea) in Korea

        한국의 해산 무척추동물상을 밝히는 연구의 일환으로서 극피동물 문의 한 분류군인 해서류 중 수수아강(subclass Dendrochirotacea)의 분류 및 분포를 밝히고자 1971년부터 1992년까지 우리나라 삼면연안에서 채집된 재료들을 동정, 분류하였다. 그 결과 수수 목(Order Dendrochirotida)의 4과, 13속에 속하는 16종을 얻었으며 이중 다음의 11종이 한국미기록종으로 밝혀졌기에 보고한다: Psolus squamatus, Lipotrapeza japonicus, Phyllophorus (Phyllothuria) hypsipyrga, Phyllophorus (Phyllothuria) ordinatus, Neothyonidium minutum, Cucumella problematica, Neocucumis watasei, Amphicyclus japonicus, Cucumaria japonica, Cucumaria miniata 및 Pseudocnus capensis. The present study is to examine the taxonomy and distribution of holothurians(especially Subclass Dendrochirotacea) as a part of study on marine investevrate of Korea. The materials were collected at 10 localities in the coastal seas and islands of Korea from April, 1971 to september, 1992. As a result, 16 dendrochirotida species belonging to 13 genera, 4 families were identified, of which 11 species have not been recorded in Korean fauna before.

      • 韓國産 사과응애 Metatetranychus ulmi(KOCH)의 有機農藥에 對한 抵抗性

        Two field populations of European Red Mite, Metatetranychus ulmi were test for the Chlorobenzilate resistance in laboratory. One of which was collected from an apple orchard on which extensive acaricides had been used (Resistance strain) and the another population was collected from an apple orchard where acaricides had never been used (Susceptible strain). The tests were made with dipping a small piece of young pea leaf in various concentrations of aceton solutions of Chlorobenzilate. The numbers of death of the mite were counted 24 hours after treatment. LD_50 of Resistance strain and Susceptible strain were 0,000096 and 0,000364 respectively; that is LD_50 of Resistance strain was 3.6 times of Susceptible strain. The slope of logarithmic concentration-mortality lines of Chlorobenzilate to Resistance strain was steeper than that of Susceptible strain. This might be attributed from difference in acaricidal response between two strain.

      • 韓國産 多毛類의 分類에 관하여(Ⅰ)

        The materials were collected by the authors from 19 localities (Gampo, Pohang, Guryong-po, Geoje-do, Seogwipo, Hoenggan-do, Namhae-do, Samchoenpo, Daeheugsan-do, Biinman, Yeonpyeong-do, Jagyag-do, Yeongjong-do, Palmi-do, Deogjeog-do, chungmu, No-do, Janggun-do, Bijin-do) in south Korea during the period from 1958 to 1971. The results of the identification turned out to be 2 subspecies, 14 species, 11 genera and 7 families. Among them 10 species were found to be new to the Korean fauna: Halosydna brevisetosa, Lepidonotus elongatus, Lepidonotus helotypus, Lepidasthenia izukai, Glycera chirori, Glycera capitata, Sabellastarte zebuensis, Sabellastarte Sabellastarte japonica, Pseudoptamilla occelata and Arenicola brasiliensis. Up to the present time, Polychaeta fauna in South Korea show 2 subspecies, 21 species, 18 genera and 10 families.

      • 韓國産 호주유두해면(Tetilla australe)의 成體와 發生胚의 形態 比較

        Tetilla australe Bergquist, an unreported spicies in Korea, was examined with respect to its morphology of the parent and embryo. As the pattern of reproduction in this species has been known yo be viviparous, larval stages were not found within the endosome. The shape and size of the spicules of the parent were compared with those embryo. With the exception of sigmaspirae spicules, 4 diffrent types of spicules were 4 to 5 fold larger in the parent than in the embryo. From the comparison of our data with those of Bergquist(1968), it seems to be likely that spicules grow in size as development proceeds.

      • 韓國産 海産 苔蟲類에 관한 硏究 : 3. 협후류와 나후류 3. Stenolaemata and Gymnolaemata

        본인들은 1964년부터 1980년까지 삼면연안의 27개 지역으로부터 채집한 표본들을 동정한 결과 3목 3아목 6군 16과 26속 30종이고, 이들 중 다음의 18종은 한국 미기록중종이다. The present investigation is an extension of the previous works (Rho & Chung, 1975; Rho & Song, 1980) for the study on faunistic and ecological accounts of ths Korean bryozoans. The study was based upon the materials which had been collected from 27 localities in the coastal waters of the South Korea during the period from 1964 to 1980. The idenrified brozoans are found to be 30 species, 18 of which were new in Korea, They are as follows: Tubulipora continua, Nolella papuensis, Bowerbankia gracilis, Vesicularia harmeri, Mimosella verticillatat, Hippopetraliella magna, Schizoporella nivea, Schizobrachiella subhex-agona, Lepralia reticulatia, Fenestrulina malusii, Codonella acuta, Smittoidea pacifica, Parasm-ittina areoata, Escharoides sauroglossa, Tubucellaria cereoides, Adeona japonica, Onchoporella selenoides and Reteporellina denticulata.
