In this paper proposes the soft-switching boost converter and MPPT control for improving the efficiency of PV system. The proposed converter designed H-bridge auxiliary resonant circuit. By this circuit, all of the switching devices perform the soft switching under the zero voltage and zero current condition. Therefore the periodic switching losses can be decreased at turn on, off. The soft switching boost converter designs for 1.5[kW] solar module of the power conversion. Thus, this soft switching boost converter is simulated by MATLAB simulation using Newton-Method algorithm. As a result, Proposed Soft Switching Converter compared to a typical boost converter switching loss was reduced about 61%. And the overall system efficiency was verified to increase about 3.3%.

In this paper, The infrastructure case for reproduction or analysis of the mechanism on the fire or the electrics shock of the electrical appliances is proposed. The various electrical appliances(Washing machine, Ballast, Electric heaters, Electronic switches, Mobile phone chargers) used in the home can be tested on the high voltage and over current test through the implementation of the infrastructure. The electrical tests of fire and electric shock consists of the high voltage of maximum 5000 V and over current test of 3 steps(90 A, 60 A, 40 A) and noise test. The mechanism of the fire and the electric shock tests reproduced are analyzed through the monitoring system and the oscilloscope. The electronics manufacturers can prevent accidents through the tests of the electronics factor reproduced and the analysis of the infrastructure designed.
열충격 시험을 통한 LED Package의 박리재현 및 특성에 관한 연구

This paper, we classified LED failure mechanisms that occur due to the delamination and analyzed each of the mechanism that gives the LED PKGs the effect. Usually, the LED is composed of several materials which are LED chips, gold wire, phosphor, epoxy resin, adhesive, reflector and lead frame. These different materials are usually delaminated in trouble conditions which are huge temperature difference, hot and humid or mechanical shocked. When the components are delaminated, a luminance will be lost and moisture be absorbed easily, a thermal resistance be increased attendantly. In this paper, we experimented to investigate failure mechanism of the thermal resistance and failure mechanism of the decrease of luminance that occur due to the delamination. A thermal shock test was performed to reproduce this phenomena by subjecting samples to a cold-hot cyclling process between ?30℃(15min) and 110℃(15min). The samples were inspected at 200, 600 and 1,000 cycles. We measured feature of LED using the spatial analyzer, optical microscope, thermal resistance, photometer, scanning electron microscope (SEM). As a result, the progression of the crack and the thermal resistance and decrease in luminance are proportional to number of thermal shock.
마이크로프로세서 제어를 이용한 DC-DC Buck Converter 설계

Recently, Mobile multimedia equipments as smart phone and tablet pc requirement is increasing and this market is also being expanded. These mobile equipments require large multi-media function, so more power consumption is required. For these reasons the needs of power management IC as switching type dc-dc converter and linear regulator have increased. DC-DC buck converter become more important in power management IC because the operating voltage of VLSI system is very low comparing to lithium-ion battery voltage. There are many people to be concerned about digital DC-DC converter without using external passive device recently. Digital controlled DC-DC converter is essential in mobile application to various external circumstance. This paper proposes the DC-DC Buck Converter using tile AVR RISC 8-bit micro-processor control. The designed converter receive the input DC 18-30 [V] and the output voltage of DC-DC Converter changes by the feedback circuit using the A/D conversion function. Duty ratio is adjusted to maintain a constant output voltage 12 [V]. Proposed converter using the micro-processed control was compared to a typical boost converter. As a result, the current loss in the proposed converter was reduced about 10.7%. Input voltage and output voltage can be displayed on the LCD display to see the status of the operation.

In this paper, the evaluating test methods of the fire on the electric pot used in the house are proposed. FMEA was used to analyze the fire mechanism of the electric pot and designed testing methods including durability tests on the environment and mechanical durability tests obtained through the two-step QFD and tested. The evaluating test methods of the fire were verified on the electric pot using in the house through the analysis of the test results.

In this paper, the evaluating test methods of the fire and the electric shock on the Electric pad using the house is proposed. We analyzed electric pad using magnetic shielded type hot wire because electric pad using the magnetic shielded type hot wire generally be used in the home. We analyzed FMEA in order to analyze the mechanism of the fire and the electric shock of the electric pad and designed testing methods (Durability tests on the environment, Mechanical durability tests, Electrical durability tests) obtained through the two-step QFD and tested. We verified the evaluating test methods of the fire and the electric shock on the Electric pad using the house through the analysis of the test results.

This paper proposed a new concept of estimating method for LED(light-emitting diode) delamination with high accuracy. Usually, The LED is composed several materials which are LED chips, gold wire, phosphor, epoxy resin, adhesive, reflector and lead frame. These different materials are usually delaminated in a trouble conditions which are huge temperature difference, hot and humid or mechanical shocked. When the components are delaminated, a luminance will be lost, moisture be absorbed easily and a thermal resistance be increased attendantly. As a conventional method to estimate a delamination of LEDs, a solution immersing method is usually used in a field of LED manufacturing companies or researching institutes. This method has an advantage of simplicity but it is only shown that the existence of delamination or not. In this paper, we have proposed an estimating method for LEDs delamination using the polishing and the electron microscope. New proposed method has shown the result of confirming delamination without destruction and enabled quantitative analysis for LED delamination.

In this paper, the evaluating test methods of the fire and the electric shock on the led lamp supply using the house is proposed. We analyzed FMEA in order to analyze the mechanism of the fire and the electric shock of the led lamp supply and designed durability tests on the environment (85℃, 85% R.H.) and obtained through the two-step QFD and tested. We verified the evaluating test methods of the fire and the electric shock on the led lamp supply using the house through the analysis of the test results.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to development the fire evaluating test methods for the Electric hair dryers. Methods: We was designed FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) in order to analyze the fire mechanism on the electric hair dryers and designed evaluating test methods (Durability tests on the environment, Mechanical durability tests) obtained through the two-step QFD (Quality Function Depolyment) and tested. Conclusion: We verified the evaluating fire test methods on the electric hair dryers through the analysis of the test results and some reproduction test.
