Academic Credit Bank System (CBS) wins its worldwide reputation of extending the access for higher education through learning experience recognition, learning network construction as well as degree awarding. This research focuses on one branch of the learning network which is the learning connection between CBS and formal higher education system. This connection is carried out through the bachelor transfer from CBS to universities and the enrollment of CBS bachelors in graduate school, which is defined as higher education reentry with CBS degrees. The purpose of this research is to find out how learners got influenced from the connection between CBS and formal higher education in terms of their motivations, perspective transformation, as well as the impact. The findings of this research are supposed to contribute to CBS development and to bring reference for Chinese adult education development in terms of the learning network construction among different learning systems. What motivates learners to reenter higher education with CBS degrees? How have learners experienced perspective transformation? What are the impacts of perspective transformation? In order to answer the above questions, this research got initiated. Guided by the transformative learning theory, and conducted through the qualitative research method, this research finally got the following findings: First, there are four forces motivating learners with CBS degrees reenter higher education: objective situation, learners’ expectation as well as interests, the needs to cater to social requirements for a better life, and the influences from people around as well as personal situation. Second, the main perspective transformations are towards learning, learner oneself, and CBS. The transformation of perspectives is a process which is embodied in learners’ major selections, the moments of being noticed of successful reentry of higher education, experiencing different learning atmosphere and style of learning in different contexts and choices after CBS graduation. Third, the impact of perspective transformation is embodied in learners’ learning life extension, the preference of research related job, learners gaining self-confidence as well as self-knowledge, and a relatively objective evaluation of themselves. The connection between CBS and formal higher education system provides learners a learning context of opportunity and learning stimuli of different levels, which promotes learners’ perspective transformation and potential exploration. 학점은행제 (CBS)은 학습경험에 대한 인정, 학습 네트워크의 구성 뿐만 아니라 학위의 취득을 통해서 고등교육에 대한 접근성의 확장에 기여하고 있음을 세계적으로도 인정받고 있다. 본 연구는 CBS와 정규 고등교육 시스템간의 학습의 연결을 이루는 학습 네트워크의 한 부문에 초점을 두고 있다. 이러한 연결은 CBS를 통한 학부 학점의 대학원 학점으로의 이전을 통하여 이뤄지며 CBS를 통한 고등교육과정에의 재입학으로 규정되는 CBS 학부생의 대학원 과정의 입학을 통하여 이뤄진다. 본 연구의 목적은 어떻게 학습자들이 그들의 동기, 원근변환 또한 영향력의 관점에서 CBS과정과 정규고등 교육과정 간의 연계로 인하여 영향을 받았는지를 발견하는 것에 있다. 본 연구를 통해 얻고자 하는 것은 CBS의 발전에 대한 기여 및 다른 학습 시스템 중에서 학습 네트워크의 구성에 대한 관점에서 중국의 성인 교육 개발에 대한 참조를 가져오는 것에 있다. CBS학위를 통한 고등 교육과정에 재입학하는 학습자들의 동기는 무엇인가? 어떻게 학습자들의 원근변환을 경험하였는가? 원근변환의 영향은 무엇인가? 이러한 질문들에 답하기 위하여 본 연구는 시작되었다. 변환학습이론에 따라 또한 질적연구방법을 통해 본 연구는 다음과 같은 최종 결론에 달하였다: 첫 번째, 고등 재교육과정에 CBS학위를 통해 재입학하는 학생들에게는 4가지 동기가 있다. 객관적 상황, 학습자의 기대 및 흥미 그리고 더 나은 삶에 대한 사회적 요구에 부응 하는 필요 그리고 개인적 상황 및 주변 사람들로부터의 영향이 그러한 예이다. 두 번째, 주된 원근변환은 학습에 대한 학생 본인 그리고 CBS이다. 원근변환은 학습자 본인 위주의 선택, 고등교육에 대한 성공적인 재입학에 대한 인식하는 순간들, 다른 학습환경의 경험 그리고 다른 환경에서의 학습 스타일 및 CBS 졸업 후 선택들을 통해 구체화되는 과정이다. 셋 번째, 원근변환의 영향은 학습자의 학습수명연장, 연구관련 직업의 선호, 학습자의 자신감 증대 및 자기 인지 그리고 상대적인 그들 자신의 객관적 평가를 통해 구체화된다. CBS 및 정규 고등 교육과정의 연계는 학습자의 원근변환 및 잠재적 개발을 촉진할 수 있는 학습 기회 및 다른 단계의 학습에 대한 자극을 제공한다.
