전남 갈곡천과 인천강 하구역의 식물플랑크톤의 분포 및 현존량

Species composition, standing crop and dominant species of phytoplankton were investigated at 6 sites of Galgok stream and Incheon river which run into Gomso Bay, Jeollanam-do in April, August and November 2007. Total of 210 taxa were found which were classified as 6 classes, 12 orders, 25 families, 66 genera, 177 species, 27 varieties, 5 forms and 1 unidentified species. These river and stream had lower concentration of T-N and T-P compared to that of others; however, the site 2 of Galgok stream in summer was hypertrophic in T-P and also near hypertrophic in TN, and the site 1 in Incheon river during fall appeared to be hypertrophic in T-N, and the site 3 in summer showed near hypertrophic level in T-P. Determining the trophic status of the water quality based on chlorophyll a (chl-a), the site 3 of Galgok stream in spring and the site 3 of Incheon river in fall were oligotrophic; moreover, 6 sites including the site 2 and 3 of Galgok stream in summer were mesotrophic, and 9 sites including all sites of Galgok stream in fall turned out to be eutrophic. Particularly, the site 1 of Galgok stream in summer was hypertrophic, having 58.19 mg chl-a m$^{-3}$. There was a conspicuous difference between two values of standing crops based on chl-a and cell counting. This discrepancy may have occurred because of abundant cyanophytes and exclusion of picoplankton cells in cell counting. In the study, 5 cyanophytes, Synechocystis aquatilis, Microcystis aeruginosa, M. flos-aquae, Oscillatoria angustissima, O. limnetica and 2 diatoms, Thalassiosira bramaputrae and Navicula viridula var. rostellata were abundant. Based on the T-N, T-P values, standing crops and cell counting in Galgok stream and Incheon river were between mesotrophic and eutrophic conditions.

The distribution and standing crops of phytoplankton were ivnestigated seasonally at 5 stations in Juam lake in 1993. It was identified as total 175 taxa, and consists of 31 families, 59 genera, 151 species, 19 varieties, 4 forma and I unidentified species according to Engler`s classifi-cation system. The dominant species were Microcystis aeruginosa, Staurastrum longi-radiatum, Eudorina unicocca, Fragilaria crotonensis, Melosira ambigua and Cyclotella stelligera. The standing crops was the highest value in summer because of the appro-priate condition for the photosynthesis in irradiation and temperature. It was estimated that the nutrient level was changing from oligotrophic to eutrophic state as for the dominant species.

The distribution and standing crop of phytoplankton were investigated seasonally at 5 stations in Juam lake in 1992. It was identified to total 180 taxa, and classified to 5 phylums, 7 classes, 2 subclasses, 14 orders, 8 suborders, 23 families, 69 genera, 160 species, 17 varieties and 3 forma according to Engler`s classification system. The dominant species of this lake were 14 taxa including Anacystis aeruginosa, and the major group of these species were chrysophytes with 7 kinds. The species diversity was most variable at station 5 and 4, because the attached algae were collected from hydrophytes. It was fall peak of standing crops as for the lake became to eutrophic state from oligotrophic. As the above result, it was estimated that the water quality of Juam lake in 1992 was in a normal condition.

N/A The distribution and standing crop of phytoplankton were investigated seasonally at 6 stations in the nearby streams of Suwon sewage disposal plant. It turned out to be total of 176 taxa, and classified as 4 phylums, 4 classes, 11 orders, 6 suborders, 22 families, 54 genera, 155 species, 20 varieties and 1 form by Engler`s classification system. Among 176 taxa, 22 including Microcystis Aphanizomenon flos-aquae were identified as indicators of water pollution. Standing crops of all stations investigated appeared to be relatively high as in other streams through the center of the city, such as Kyoungan-chon of Youngin-si and Gulpo-chon of Buchon-si. In station 1, 2, 4 and 6, the highest number of standing crop were shown in summer, while in station 3 and 5, it was high in winter. Based on the present study upon the distribution and standing crop of phytoplankton, it is regarded as the state of the eutrophication in the nearby streams of Suwon sewage disposal plant.

The study analyzed the physico-chemical quality of water and the resident phytoplankton community, and evaluated the water trophic status in So-ok stream flowing into Daechung lake from October 2007 to July 2008. Algal blooming by cyanophytes and diatoms continued throughout the year, with Microcystis aeruginosa and Aulacoseira granulata being prevalent. Ten taxa that are indicators of polluted water, including Oscillatoria limosa appeared. Results based on (Trophic status index) TSI and (Lake trophic status index) LTSI evaluations of water quality status indicated mesotrophication.

Six taxa of unrecorded Korean species of genus Cosmarium were collected from several freshwater sites of South Korea in 2003. They were 3 species and 3 varieties of Genus Cosmarium. Genus Cosmarium of Korea was reported to totally 273 taxa 125 species, 113 varieties and 35 forms including this study.
국내 5기의 석조문화재에 분포하는 기중조류와 생물학적 등급에 관한 연구

The purpose of research was to find aerial algae and to investigate the change of color in each class of photosynthetic pigments in five stone cultural properties of Korea. It turned out to be a total of 29 taxa, including as 26 species, 1 variety and 2 unidentified species. Among them, Haplaosiphon fontinalis and Stigonema turfaceum were found to be newly recorded species of Korea. The average Chl-a concentration from the change of color in the stone cultural properties increased as its class; however, the class 5 showed lower values than the class 4, which was shown in previous studies. From the studies of algal distribution, chlorophytes appeared earlier than cyanophytes in stone cultural properties of algal infestation. Also, 50% or more of the five stone cultural properties already appeared to have bio-pollution.

Jinwi Stream is considerably polluted. The urban development in a Jinwi Stream basin can make state of aquatic ecosystem worse. However, researches for aquatic ecosystems in Jinwi Stream are insufficient. In this study, biotic indices of periphytic diatoms (DAIpo and TDI), benthic macroinvertebrates (EPT, KSI and ESB) and fish (IBI) were compared with the annual water quality data. Benthic macroinvertebrates indices showed highly significant correlations with concentrations of organic materials and nutrients, while DAIpo, TDI and IBI showed low correlations with them. In particular, ESB can be considered as an useful indicator that reflects the degree of diversity and abundance of biotic community as well as water quality. In polluted and disturbed streams as Jinwi Stream, DAIpo, TDI and IBI appeared to be not available for evaluating and discriminating the water quality, although they have been known as good indices in general streams.
