육두구 종자성분 Phenylpropanoid 들의 간 MFO 억제 및 유도효과
우원식,신국현 생화학분자생물학회 1994 BMB Reports Vol.17 No.3
The effects of phenylpropanoids, myristicin(I), licarin-B(II), dehydrodiisoeugenol (III), 2-(4-allyl-2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)-1,4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenylpropanol-l-ol(IV), isolated from the seeds of Myristica fragrans on hepatic microsomal mixed function oxidase (MFO) were investigated. All four compounds, with a single administration (200㎎/㎏, i.p.) in mice, caused not only a significant prolongation of hexobarbital (HB)-induced hypnosis but also a significant reduction in activities of aminopyrine N-demethylase and hexobarbital hydroxylase. Compound I was observed to bind to phenobarbital-induced cytochrome P-450 to give a type I binding spectrum whereas compound III and IV gave a reverse type I difference spectrum. On repeated administration, compound I, II and III caused a shortening of the duration of hypnosis as well as increases in hepatic enzyme activities. Compound I and II provoked a sleep episode at a subhypnotic dose of HB, suggesting that they possess CNS depressant properties.
p-Methoxycinnamic Acid의 뇨대사물에 대하여
우원식 대한약학회 1964 약학회지 Vol.8 No.3
The metabolism of p-methoxycinnamic acid (p-MCA) has been studied in man and rabbits. Possible compounds were examined for metabolites by crystalization and by paper chromatography, which excreted after adminstration of p-MCA by stomach tube and intravenous injection. p-Methoxyhippuric acid was isolated from urine. Although pure glucuronide was not crystallized from urine, product was obtained by basic lead salt method, which gave p-methodxybenzoic acid (p-MBA) on hydrolysis and gave an intese naphthoresorcinol reaction. No evidence for the demethylation of p-MCA was found. These results are indicating that p-MCA may be mainly converted to p-MBA by ${\betha}$-oxidationand excreted as its conjugates with glycine and glucuronic acid. Its oxidation does not appear to be dependent on intestinal micro-organisms.

In the course of our study on the chemistry of vegetable drugs used in medicine from ancient times, we had occasion to investigate lipids in Phytolacca esculenta van Houtte. A substance, C_(51)H_(88)O_7·½H₂O mp 168-170, IR 3400, 1740,1165, 965, 840, 825, 790, and 717 cm^(-1), was :isolated from a neutral fraction of the roots. MS showed the molecular ion peak at m/e 812 arid fragmentation peaks at m/e 574, corresponding to sterol glucoside, 412, sterol, 401, pyronium ion of palmityl glucose moiety. On hydrolysis with alkali, it gave palmitic acid (identified by GLC of methylester), and a compound which on treatment of acid gave D-glucose (identified by TLC) and a sterol mixture (identified as α-spinasterol and Δ^7-stigmastenol by GLC-MS, the former predominated). Formic acid was formed by HIO, oxidation of lipid and NMR spectrum of glucoside acetate indicated the relatively large coupling constant (J=7Hz) for the anomeric proton. Thus this substance was defined as 6'-palmityl-α-spinasteryl D-glucopyranoside with a small amount of Δ^7-stigmastenol derivative. All attempts to separate these into the pure components failed. To the best of our knowledge this is the first reported isolation of them from a natural source.
Gallery의 현대적 의미 변화에 따른 공간구성 방법에 관한 연구 : 공간구성간의 시지각적인 관계를 중심으로

Changes of values and understandings about culture in there days leave made various forms of exhibition spaces. Galleries, as they get enlarged in social functions, their functions are magnified to get close to public, and to serve cultural informations and leisure hours. The reasons for the enlarged social functions of them are the changes of values and understandings about culture, the changes of architectural styles, inflow of natural lights in exhibition spaces, and variety of exhibition themes. These thought spaces containing new functions in limited spaces. The aim of this study is to offer various experiences for spectators by establishing spaces as the galleries change in their social role and seizing relationships of visual perceptions of the factors.
