A non-local selection scheme of regularisation parameters is exploited for non-local total variation (NLTV) regularisation, based on a content-aware function that can determine regularisation parameters through discriminating image contents, with the aid of a non-local structure tensor calculated using the weights from the original NLTV. Experimental results on simulated and real noisy images show the relatively good performance of the proposed scheme based on NLTV, in terms of visual improvement and peak signal-to-noise ratio value.

Regularization Parameter Selection for Total Variation Model Based on Local Spectral Response
Zheng, Yuhui,Ma, Kai,Yu, Qiqiong,Zhang, Jianwei,Wang, Jin Korea Information Processing Society 2017 Journal of information processing systems Vol.13 No.5
In the past decades, various image regularization methods have been introduced. Among them, total variation model has drawn much attention for the reason of its low computational complexity and well-understood mathematical behavior. However, regularization parameter estimation of total variation model is still an open problem. To deal with this problem, a novel adaptive regularization parameter selection scheme is proposed in this paper, by means of using the local spectral response, which has the capability of locally selecting the regularization parameters in a content-aware way and therefore adaptively adjusting the weights between the two terms of the total variation model. Experiment results on simulated and real noisy image show the good performance of our proposed method, in visual improvement and peak signal to noise ratio value.

Data mining is an important tool in meteorological problems solved. Cluster analysis techniques in data mining play an important role in the study of meteorological applications. The research progress of the clustering algorithms in meteorology in recent years is summarized in this paper. First, we give a brief introduction of the principles and characteristics of the clustering algorithms that are commonly used in meteorology. On the other hand, the applications of clustering algorithms in meteorology are analyzed, and the relationship between the various clustering algorithms and meteorological applications are summarized. Then we interpret the relationship from the perspectives of algorithms’ characteristics and practical applications. Finally, some main research issues and directions of the clustering algorithms in meteorological applications are pointed out.

Wei Tian,Liguang Wu,Weican Zhou,Yuhui Zheng,Jin Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.7 No.6
The recognition and center position methods of typhoon with high accuracy are essential for forecasting and monitoring of tropical cyclones (TCs) in the meteorological applications. We designed the improved adaptive threshold processing algorithms and segmentation of typhoon cloud system by using two value image connecting region labeling algorithm. It shows potential ability in typhoon cloud feature and the recognition of typhoon cloud system in northern hemisphere. We also designed algorithms of locating typhoon center by mathematical morphology. Experimental results show that the typhoon cloud system can be effectively recognized on could imagery and the center of cloud imagery can also be located by the proposed method. Our analysis indicated that typhoon recognition and center position accuracy based on FY-2 satellites data were high recognition rate and accuracy of the center location, and the methods can be applied to meteorological business systems.
Design and Implementation of Knowledge based Cloud Platform for NSFC Service System
Jianjun Li,Yuhui Zheng,Jin Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.12
With the quickly development of Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) foundations, management of mass fund-relevant digital data, such as researchers and institutions, academic achievement, funds and so on, is becoming more and more important for supporting basic scientific research. In this paper, we fully introduce the design and implementation of NSFC cloud platform that will be implemented in the service system of knowledge base. Firstly, the whole cloud platform architecture is presented. Then we introduce the system software and equipment environment of our platform. Lastly, we present the construction of private cloud, network components, storage components, and computing components, respectively, with illustrative figures and tables.

Chlorogenic acid (CGA), an abundant polyphenol compound in plants, exhibits anti-oxidant effects. The protective effect of CGA in the rat intestine with endotoxin infusion was evaluated. CGA administration ameliorated endotoxin-induced intestinal injury, and decreased the ratio of lactulose/ mannitol, the ileum pathological grade, the myeloperoxidase activity in the ileum, and the malondialdehyde content in the ileum and in ileum mitochondria. The small intestine weight, activities of alkaline phosphatase and superoxide dismutase in the ileum, and β-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide reduce form (NADH) dehydrogenase and succinate dehydrogenase activities in ileum mitochondria were increased. Intestinal permeability was positively correlated with intestinal mitochondrial injury indicated as the level of malondialdehyde in ileum mitochondria, and negatively correlated with NADH dehydrogenase activity. Dietary administration of CGA protected against increased intestinal permeability caused by endotoxin infusion. The protective effect of CGA was probably associated with a decrease in mitochondrial lipid peroxidation levels and an increase in NADH dehydrogenase activity.
