<P>Abstract Extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins are secreted to the exterior of the cell, and function as mediators between resident cells and the external environment. These proteins not only support cellular structure but also participate in diverse processes, including growth, hormonal response, homeostasis, and disease progression. Despite their importance, current knowledge of the number and functions of ECM proteins is limited. Here, we propose a computational method to predict ECM proteins. Specific features, such as ECM domain score and repetitive residues, were utilized for prediction. Based on previously employed and newly generated features, discriminatory characteristics for ECM protein categorization were determined, which significantly improved the performance of Random Forest and support vector machine (SVM) classification. We additionally predicted novel ECM proteins from non-annotated human proteins, validated with gene ontology and earlier literature. XML is a language which simplified standard to be adapted to WWW environment by W3C. In addition to the various advantage of SGML functions such as extendibility, structure, verification of documentation, it included URL link embedding and style-sheet function required by WWW environment. This paper proposed the WWW authoring tool based on XML. This authoring tool is designed to UNIX operating system workstation connected with network as a WWW server and was tested by using Windows 95/NT operating PC as a client system. The Proposed system based on XML, is will be serviceable on highly speed communication network of future.

최근 차량용 블랙박스는 단순히 차속 및 주행 거리를 기록하는 차량 운행 기록기의 기능을 넘어, 각종센서 및 영상 처리, GPS 장치 등을 통하여 수집된 정보를 토대로 자동차 사고 분석이나 부품 결함을 발견할 수 있는 기능을 추가 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문은 자동차로부터 얻을 수 있는 정보를 다각도로 분류해 보고 자동차 사고 중 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 차대차 사고재현을 위한 필수적인 파라미터를 선정함으로써 제한된 프로세싱 자원 하에서 사고 재현 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 영상 블랙박스 모델을 제안하고 수집된 파라미터의 분석 절차를 제시한다.
