자동차 클러치 Judder 및 Shunt 현상에 대한 해석

This paper is concerned with the dynamic analysis of an auto power train vibration problem. In particular, the clutch judder and shunt phenomena caused by the dynamic friction of the clutch pad are analyzed by means of the mathematical model. This paper presents the effect of parameters on the vibration characteristics of the system, thus illustrating the method of avoiding the harsh start-up problem. Numerical results show that the clutch judder and shunt can be avoided by increasing the system damping value either globally or locally. In addition, the friction coefficient affects the stability of the system thus causing instability to some modes. However, the main source of excessive vibration is resulted from the excitation force which depends on the friction coefficient.

The oxygen distribution at steady state is analyzed mathematically in a hexagonal cylinder. The domain is penetrated by parallel cylindrical capillaries of different oxygen squirt. Asymptotic solution is used to determine the effect of axial diffusion. Oxygen concentration profiles are displayed at some positions of capillary-beds. At the venous end some tissue areas suffer from a shortage of oxygen.

층화된 K 2×2 분할표에서 공통 오즈비의 일반적인 추정방법으로는 울프추정량, 맨텔-헨첼 추정량, 그리고 재표본 설계방법의 하나인 잭나이프를 이용한 추정방법들이 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 재표본 설계방법의 다른 하나인 붓스트랩방법을 이용하여 공통 오즈비를 추정하고 편의(bias)와 평균제곱오차(MSE) 측면에서 이 추정량을 기존의 다른 추정량과 비교하고자 한다.

<P>Neuronal damage subsequent to transient cerebral ischemia is a multifactorial process involving several overlapping mechanisms. Gangliosides, sialic acid-conjugated glycosphingolipids, reduce the severity of acute brain damage in vitro. However their in vivo effects on the cerebral cortex damaged by ischemic infarct are unknown. To assess the possible protective role of gangliosides we examined their expression in the cerebral cortex damaged by ischemic infarct in the rat. Ischemia was induced by middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion, and the resulting damage was observed by staining with 2, 3, 5-triphenylterazolium chloride (TTC). High-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) showed that gangliosides GM3 and GM1 increased in the damaged cerebral cortex, and immunofluorescence microscopy also revealed a significant change in expression of GM1. In addition, in situ hybridization demonstrated an increase in the mRNA for ganglioside GM3 synthase. These results suggest that gangliosides GM1 and GM3 may be synthesized in vivo to protect the cerebral cortex from ischemic damage.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A customized droplet-based microfluidic reactor was fabricated for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using silver nitrate (AgNO<SUB>3</SUB>) and branched polyethyleneimine (BPEI) as a precursor and a reducing agent, respectively. The effects of static mixing, temperature, and the volumetric flow rates of AgNO<SUB>3</SUB> and BPEI on the particle size were investigated. The use of a static mixer and the optimization of the reaction temperature enhanced the monodispersity of the Ag NPs. In addition, the size of the Ag NPs was manipulated by changing the flow rate ratio of AgNO<SUB>3</SUB> to BPEI at 60°C for 60min.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

<P>Four Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped bacterial strains, MM-124, MM-126, NB-68 and NB-77, were isolated from the coastal seawater or a region with a bloom of sea sparkle around Geoje island in Korea. The sequence similarity values of the 16S rRNA gene between the isolates and <I>Sulfitobacter mediterraneus</I> DSM 12244<SUP>T</SUP> ranged from 97.7 to 98.2 %, and phylogenetic relationships suggested that they belong to a phylogenetic branch that includes the genera <I>Sulfitobacter</I> and <I>Roseobacter</I>. The isoprenoid quinone of all three novel strains was ubiquinone-10 and the major fatty acid was <I>cis</I>-vaccenic acid, as in other species of the genus <I>Sulfitobacter</I>. However, there were several differences in the morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics among the four strains and the reference species of the genus <I>Sulfitobacter</I>. Moreover, the average nucleotide identity values between the three sequenced isolates and the reference strains were below 76.33, indicating that genomic variation exists between the isolates and reference strains. Chemotaxonomic characteristics together with phylogenetic affiliations and genomic distances illustrate that strains MM-124, NB-68 and NB-77 represent novel species of the genus <I>Sulfitobacter</I>, for which the names <I>Sulfitobacter</I> g<I>eojensis</I> sp. nov. (type strain MM-124<SUP>T</SUP> = KCTC 32124<SUP>T</SUP> = JCM 18835<SUP>T</SUP>), <I>Sulfitobacter noctilucae</I> sp. nov. (type strain NB-68<SUP>T</SUP> = KCTC 32122<SUP>T</SUP> = JCM 18833<SUP>T</SUP>) and <I>Sulfitobacter noctilucicola</I> sp. nov. (type strain NB-77<SUP>T</SUP> = KCTC 32123<SUP>T</SUP> = JCM 18834<SUP>T</SUP>) are proposed.</P>

Background: Endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) is the mainstay treatment for refractory chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). Since various factors may contribute to the surgical outcome, it is challenging for physicians to predict surgical outcomes. The aim of study was to analyze the prognostic factors of postoperative outcomes and to establish the prediction model with the risk factors that impact the postoperative outcomes. Methods: Medical records of CRS patients who underwent ESS at 9 institutions in 2005, 2010, and 2016 were retrospectively reviewed. We classified the patients into 2 groups based on postoperative objective endoscopic outcomes. Demographics, nose-specific symptoms, olfactory function, eosinophil counts in blood (EoB) and nasal tissue (EoT), and LundMackay CT score (LMS) were collected. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed and established a prediction equation for postoperative endoscopic objective outcomes. Results: In total (n = 1,249), 27.0% were not satisfied under postoperative endoscopic examination. Of 10 variables, LMS (> 5), sinus dominancy (maxillary sinus and ethmoid sinus), EoB (> 210), and EoT (> 100) were statistically significant in univariate analysis (P < 0.05, all). In multivariate analysis, EoT (> 100) and LMS (> 5) were significantly associated with poor postoperative outcome. Furthermore, 5 significant variables were employed to establish the risk model of postoperative outcomes and P (the value of prediction probability) = 1 / (1 + exp [−0.392 + 1.088 × EoT (> 100) + 0.123 × mean LMS (> 5) − 0.366 × sinus dominancy (maxillary) + 0.064 × sinus dominancy (similar) + 0.200 × EoB (4%) + 0.344 × EoB (> 210)] was developed. Conclusion: Tissue eosinophil count and radiographic severity predispose to a poorer outcome of ESS and the risk model established may be helpful to predict postoperative outcomes of ESS.
