        A new spectropotometric determination of citric acid was examined using carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) which has been used in petide synthesis. CDI was reacted with citric acid to form yellow acyl-imidazole derivative (λ??443nm) in dichloroethane. This colored reaction was so characteristic with tricarboxylic acid that can be used selective determination of citric acid in common carboxylic acid. As increasing the reaction temperature, the acyl compound was decomposed to produce the substance of which physical property was similar to the hydrolized compound. Citric acied was calibrated in the range of 1-6μg/ml and the extinction coefficient of the acyl-imidazole compound was 28000 in this condition.

        Object : This study was conducted as part of the national project to standardize stroke diagnosis in Korean medicine. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the characteristics of acute stroke between heat pattern group and cold pattern group. Methods : We recruited stroke patients from 5 universities(Kyung-Hee University oriental medical center, Kyung-Hee University East-West Neo medical center, Kyungwon university lncheon oriental medical center, Kyungwon university Songpa oriental medical center and DongGuk university llsan oriental medical center) from April, 2007 until February, 2010. We diagnosed them and selected 463 heat pattern patients and 182 cold pattern patients. Results : We find that the risk factor of smoking, alcohol, diet(prefer to meat) are more associated with the heat pattern group. On the other hand, inflammation history in recent 3 months and diet(prefer to sea food) are more associated with the cold pattern group. RBC, Hg, Hct, TG, CK and Cl are more related to the heat pattern group. CPT, total cholesterol and HDL are more related to the cold pattern group. Tae-eum type takes high distribution of the heat pattern group, and So-eum type takes high distribution of the cold pattern group. Conclusions : This study provides evidence that the heat pattern group have more risk factor than the cold pattern group.

        This study was performed to examine the effect of inducer on laccase production of Pycnoporus cinnabarinus SCH-3 isolated from Korea. The different inducers including 2,5-xylidine were added in the culture of Pycnoporus cinnabarinus SCH-r respectively. 2,5xylidine was predominant of the inducers tested in laccase production. Addition of 2,5-xylidine enhanced 12-fold laccase production, While nothing of inducers produced isoenzyme of laccase, as determined by non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.

        I collected nine lind of plants around us in order to analyze catechol type tannin which is contained in plants. The analysis was made by Lowenthal's volumetric analysis method and paper chromatography method. At this experiment, the rate of developing solvent of paper chromatography was n-butanol: acetic acid: water=5:2:6(vol.%), and developing, Quercus aliena Blume, Quercus aliena Blume var. acute-serrata Maximowicz ex Wenzig and Quercus aliena Blume var. pellucida Blume, much tannin.

      • 유압 윈치 CLD시스템의 제어

        Control of an electro-hydraulic servo-controlled winch system which has no distinct performance specifications is investigated in this paper. Because of the lack of the performance specification, the research is focused to finding effective parameters which give clear physical meanings for the behavior of the system. Two new parameters named "settling rotation angle" and "settling safety ratio" are proposed for the control of general winch system. The physical meanings of the two parameters are explained precisely. Performance specifications for the target winch system are derived by using the proposed two parameters and a controller is designed to meet the performance specifications. Simulation results show that the designed controller gives responses which can be accepted for the target winch system. The concepts of the new design parameters proposed in this paper can be applied to any kind of servo-controlled winch systems.

        황남대총 98호분 출토 유리의 과학적 분석

        황남대총 98호분 북분과 남분에서 출토된 유리시료 40점에 대한 과학적인 분석을 실시하였다. 유리의 성분조성은 주사전자현미경-에너지분산형분광기(SEM-EDS)를 사용하여 정량분석 하였고 다변량해석법을 통하여 시료를 분류하였다. 그 결과 시료 40점 모두 Na₂O를 약 20%정도 함유한 소다-석회(Na₂O CaO-SiO₂)유리임을 확인하였으며, 다시 5개 주성분(SiO₂, AI₂O₃, Na₂O, CaO, K₂O)으로 다변량해석[주성분분석(PCA)]을 실시한 결과 2개의 群으로 분류되었다. I 群에 포함된 시료는 Al₂O₃의 농도가 9.7%로 높고 CaO의 농도는 2.2%인데 비하여 Ⅱ群에서는 각각 3.2%,4.9%의 범위로 나타났다. 특히 시료 No.12의 노란 색으로 편석된 부분을 미소부위 XRD로 분석한 결과 PbSnO₃임을 국내 최초로 확인할 수 있었다. 鉛을 함유한 시료 중 No.12, 17은 열이온화질량분석기(TIMS)로 납동위원소비를 측정하였고 선형판별식 분석법(SLDA)을 이용하여 납의 산지를 추정하였다. 그 결과 각각 중국 남부, 한국 남부의 납광석을 사용한 것으로 나타났다. Elemental analysis of 40 glass samples from the Northern Tomb and the Southern Tomb of Hwangnam-daechong No. 98 was performed. Fourteen compositions of each sample were analyzed quantitatively by SEM-EDS and glass samples were classified by multivariate analysis such as PCA. All of 40 samples were confirmed to be Na₂O CaO-SiO₂ system with about 20% of Na₂O. Samples were classified into two groups by doing PCA on concentrations of 5 major elements (SiO₂, AI₂O₃, Na₂O, CaO, K₂O). Samples included in group I showed the concentration of AI₂O₃ is about 9.7% and that of CaO, about 2.2%. In group II, concentration of Al₂O₃ is about 3.2% and that of CaO, about 4.9%. Especially yellow grains embedded in sample No.12 were shown to be PbSnO₃ by micro XRD, which was the first coloring material ever found in Korea. Lead isotope ratios of samples No.12 and No.17 which contained lead were measured by TIMS. The origin of lead was traced by means of multivariate analysis such as SLDA. The result showed that lead from southern China and southern Korea had been used for making glass.

      • 대학교양체육을 통한 체육목표 성취도에 관한 연구 : 경기도지역 일반대학 및 전문대학을 중심으로

        Purpose of this research is to seek of whether physical education achievement can be attained or not and to aim at activating the basic data on physical education, grasping the knowledges. 1. In illustrating the commonsense athletic outline seen on item, it needs subject of commonsense but showed to be very high on sports of students with most of answer. A valuable part after participation to commonsense physical education was replied that it has large influence enough on sports in personal relation such as social intense and friendship, and consciousness of studying the educated physical education was replied to be worse and finally showed to have much further efforts. In questioning for physical education programme of students, it showed there were a lot of students that theory and practice must be gone studied together, satisfaction on school facilities was very good, to provide opportunity to realize with self to human being about matter of how to see the sports and how to learn moral and spiritual value. In questioning of what is final positive purpose, it answered to form ideal human being together with intelligence and virtue and in question for physical education subject after participating the cultivated physical education, most numerous answers were made after intensive width on personal relation through sports activity. 2. In achieving the posrts purpose, on physical purpose phase, it influenced mostly to behavior physique part such as muscular swift durability and in spiritual purpose part, it felt amicable with soothing one's mind and pressing one's impulse through the games. In social purpose, through physical education, to enhance attitude such as faithfulness, cooperation, obedience, responsibility, and conduct were made in highest answer. After graduation of physical education when selected in relax, in question of what helps, "it helps" showed highest answers, and in question of possibility on how to attain the sports purpose, it made answers mostly of "it did not attain", "it is so" and "it does not know well" and it appeared not to play the role of physical education lesson. After participation of educated physical education, among purposes of physical educations, in whether any part has been mostly developed, it showed most numerous answers on social part and physical flank. In conclusion, it try to integrate theory and practice for effective physical education and has to make up physical education activity to pursue development of athletic ability and healthy society, and to make upon important support on applicable capacity in environmental phase surrounded the physical ability development and human being for the sake of maximal purpose and has to enhance valuable athletic attitude and social attitude to be applied for democratic society. Also, having the righteous value envisage for sports, it activates to life physical education of which is able to make to life and have social life attitude to be expect in future.

      • 有機酸의 定量法에 關한 硏究(第一報)

        Carboxylic acid is converted to acid chloride by thionyl chloride. Acid chloride reacts with 2.4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (2.4-D.N.P.H) to form the corresponding hydrazide. this hydrazide in aqueous basic solution leads to color-formation which can be utilized for colorimetric analysis. Since acid chloride is readily hydrolyzed to the parent carboxylic acid in the water, the coupling reaction of acid chloride with 2.4-D.N.P.H is carried out in actonitrile solution. the structures of N-acetyl-, N-benzoyl N'-(2.4-dinitro) phenyl hydrazine formed from the reaction of carboxylic acid and 2.4-D.N.P.H. are investigated by NMR and IR-spectrum.
