ROUGH TRIPLE SEQUENCES IN GRADUAL NORMED SPACES
Indumathi, Arulmani,Esi, Ayhan,Subramanian, Nagarajan The Honam Mathematical Society 2019 호남수학학술지 Vol.41 No.4
In this paper, we investigate general topological properties of rough triple sequences in a gradual normed space. We define some new notions such as rough gradual convergent of triple sequences, rough triple gradual Cauchy sequences, etc.
Indumathi Sivakumar,Kuthalingam Subbiah Arunachalam,EGR Solomon 대한치과보철학회 2012 The Journal of Advanced Prosthodontics Vol.4 No.4
The intent of this article was to analyze the potential hazards and risks involved in persons exposed to prosthodontic practice. These risks include exposure to physical and chemical hazards, dental materials, infectious environment, inappropriate working pattern and psychosocial stress. The potential harm of these hazards and its prevention is highlighted. Prosthodontists, students, dental technicians, and others working in the prosthodontic clinics and laboratory should be aware of the specific risk factors and take measures to prevent and overcome these hazards.
Search Query Expansion using Genetic Algorithm–based Clustering
Indumathi D,Chitra A,Girthana K 한국산학기술학회 2013 SmartCR Vol.3 No.1
The World Wide Web has become a resource pool for people seeking information. Current Web search engines try to deliver relevant information to users, but due to both exponential growth of information and imprecise queries, search engines cannot meet users’ information requirements. Users have to reframe queries until they get the desired information. To improve users’ search experience, some search engines provide query suggestions that are semantically related to a particular query. These systems provide the same suggestions to the same queries without considering the personal interest of the user. This paper presents an approach to provide personalized query suggestions based on a genetic algorithm?based clustering technique. This improves retrieval effectiveness and relevancy by expanding the query with additional words. Unlike existing methods, this technique provides personalized query suggestions for each individual user according to that user’s conceptual needs. The main objective of this work is to improve retrieval of information by expanding the user’s query based on the user’s domain of interest.

We introduce the notions of weighted statistical convergence and strong weighted summability of order $\beta $ for fuzzy Bernstein Stancu polynomials of difference operator of rough $I$-convergent of double sequence, and establish the relationship between them and also study the set of all fuzzy Bernstein Stancu polynomials of difference operator of rough $I$-limits of a double sequence spaces and relation between analyticness and fuzzy Bernstein Stancu polynomials of difference operator of rough $I$-core of a double sequence spaces. Finally, as an application, we appy our notion of weighted $\Delta ^{r}\left( p,q\right)$-statistical of order $\beta $ with a view of fuzzy Korovkin-type approximation theorem, discuss example to illustrate our approximation results.
In vitro Antioxidant Activities of Methanol and Aqueous Extract of Annona squamosa (L.) Fruit Pulp
Elumalai Nandhakumar,Parameswaran Indumathi 사단법인약침학회 2013 Journal of Acupuncture & Meridian Studies Vol.6 No.3
The present study evaluated the antioxidant activity of the fruit of Annona squamosa by means of in vitro studies involving two different solvent extracts: methanol and aqueous. The antioxidant properties of the extract were determined by scavenging 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH), lipid peroxidation (LPO), nitric oxide (NO), superoxide anion (O₂-), hydroxyl radical (OHㆍ), reducing power and total antioxidant. The results showed that, compared to aqueous extract, a methanolic fruit extract of A squamosa has a higher percentage of inhibition of DPPH radical scavenging activity (97.99%), LPO (94.15%), NO scavenging activity (70.96%), O₂- scavenging activity and OHㆍ scavenging activity (78.68% and 85.25%, respectively), total antioxidant activity (206 µg α-tocopherol/g) and reducing power (56.0 µg of ascorbic acid/g). The results obtained in the in vitro models clearly suggest that methanol extract has higher antioxidant activity than the aqueous extract due to a higher presence of phenolic and flavonodal constituents in the methanol extract.

The study was performed to understand the feasibility of graphite felt for electro-enhanced removal ofperchlorate ions through capacitive deionization process (CDI) in aqueous solution. The cyclicvoltammetry studies indicated that the perchlorate ions neither get oxidized nor reduced under theoperating conditions for the applied potential range of 1.5 V. The effect of voltage, flow rate, perchlorateconcentration, pH of the solution and temperature on the electrosorption was studied. Theelectrosorption capacity increased with increasing applied potential, flow rate and perchlorateconcentration. The change in pH significantly affected the removal efficiency due to competitive ioniceffect. The increase in temperature had a negative impact on the electrosorption capacity. Langmuirmodel was found to be a betterfit than the Freundlich model and the maximum electrosorption capacitywas found to be 21.1 mg g 1. It was observed that electro-enhanced adsorption followed pseudofirstorder kinetic model with a rate constant of 0.45 min 1 for an initial concentration of 1000 mg L 1operated at 1.5 V. Moreover the graphite felt exhibited good repeatability of the electrosorption processand affinity toward perchlorate ions. Thus it can be concluded that the graphite felt electrode can bepotentially used for electrosorptive removal of perchlorate ions from the aqueous solution.
