Metcalfa pruinosa was first reported in 2009 in Gimhae persimmon farms in Korea, and in Chungnam province in 2011, they first occurred in Dangjin and Taean. M. pruinosa adults are known to lay eggs among the crevices beneath the bark of the host plants, and they are reported to lay mainly on Robinia pseuroacacia trees. However, in order to solve the problem that the time and effort are too much to investigate by moving the 10 cm branch of R. pseudoacacia and removing the whole bark, we investigated the number of wintering eggs at different parts of branches from R. pseudoacacia and surveyed occurrence of them in Chungnam province. 14.5 times and 5.4 times more eggs were observed in the hair tissues of the twigs and thorms bases than the surface of R. pseudoacacia trees, respectively. There was no difference in the number of branches according to the thickness of branches. M. pruinosa in Chungnam province were mainly occurred in Taean, Geumsan and Dangjin, and showed patterns that occurred mainly in highways.

Quality management is an activity that is continuously managed to meet quality requirements. This paper aims to improve quality through the development of the quality management system in integrated product support. First, the scope of the quality target is identified based on the quality control gate. After that, a plan to carry out improved quality activities was proposed by assigning responsibility for quality review, agreement, and approval of consumer and development agency. Using this quality management system, measurements of improvement are clearly identified. Also, product, processor, and person centered quality control can be performed through step-by-step Q-gate.

<P>The enantioselective synthesis of 7-<I>epi</I>-incarvilline for formal syntheses of (−)-incarvilline, (+)-incarvine C, and (−)-incarvillateine is described. Background : This study aimed to identify the mechanisms of the antinociceptive effects of PG in the fibromyalgia (FM)-like animal model. Methods and Results : To assess the possible effect of PG on FM symptoms, we constructed a FM animal model induced by intermittent cold stress with slight modification. All mice underwent nociceptive assays using electronic von Frey anesthesiometer and Hargreaves equipment. To assess the relation between PG and the expression levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB), and phosphorylated CREB (p-CREB), western blotting and immunohistochemistry analyses were performed. In behavioral analysis, nociception tests showed that the pain threshold was significantly decreased in the FM group compared to control group. Western blot and immunohistochemical analyses of the medial prefrontal cortex and hippocampus showed downregulation of BDNF and p-CREB proteins in the FM group compared to control group. PG recovered these changes at behavioral tests and protein level. These results provide evidence that the effects of PG extract in the FM model may be related to its modulating effect on the BDNF signaling pathway in the hippocampus and medial prefrontal cortex. Conclusion : Our animal model may be involved in the mechanism by which PG extract is effective as a therapeutic agent for FM.

We selected the trap plant that could attract Ricania spp. adult effectively and the systemic chemicals that could beused at the same time in 2016. Ricania spp. has recently spread throughout Chungnam province since its occurrence in2010. We found that sunflowers could attract them effectively in pre-oviposition period of Ricania spp. and selected thesystemic chemicals could be used with sunflower simultaneously. The sunflower attracted their adults about 90 to 95percent in pre-oviposition period. The systemic chemicals was dinotefuran SG 50% and the control effect of it was 96.2%.The control effect of dinotefuran transferred to sunflower was excellent, and the density of adult in blackberry field couldbe kept low in pre-poviposion period of Ricania spp. The above results show the possibility of using sunflower as atrap plant to control Ricania spp. adults.
