When rotating the clutch drum in the power take-off (PTO) gear box of an armored recovery vehicle, lots of inner oil is drained through the adapter by centrifugal force. Therefore, a lack of lubrication is caused by inner oil loss, and the bearing is damaged by overheating. This study, therefore, aims to design an oil-controlling adapter by using shape alteration to prevent oil loss. Both the original and improved adapters were tested at 1,800rpm by using an operational test machine. When applying the original adapter to the gear box, the bearing was damaged by overheating, which was caused by the lack of lubrication. When applying the improved oil-controlling adapter, on the other hand, it prevented the loss of inner oil. Applying the improved adapter is expected to prevent the overheating caused by lack of lubrication.

Polycaprolactone, Dichloromethane, 이산화탄소로 구성된 3성분계 고압 시스템의 상거동 측정 실험은 가변 부피 셀 장치를 이용해서 측정했다. 실험의 온도범위는 313.15 K에서 353.15 K, 압력은 약 300 bar까지 측정했으며 실험결과는 Polycaprolactone의 질량 분율이 1.0%, 2.0%, 3.0%일 때 온도와 이산화탄소/Dichloromethane의 질량 분율로 정리했다. 또한 실험 결과는 hybrid 상태방정식 (Peng-Robinson 상태방정식과 SAFT 상태방정식의 혼합형태) 을 이용하여 열역학적으로 검증하였으며, 혼합규칙은 반데르 발스의 단일 유체 혼합규칙을 사용했다. 이 다성분계 시스템에서 이원 상호 작용 파라미터 등, 각종 파라미터는 심플렉스 알고리즘을 통해 최적화했다. The high-pressure phase behavior of a polycaprolactone (Mw=56,145 g/mol, polydispersity 1.2), dichloromethane, and carbon dioxide ternary system was measured using a variable-volume view cell. The experimental temperatures and pressures ranged from 313.15 K to 353.15 K and up to 300 bar as functions of the CO2/dichloromethane mass ratio and temperature, at poly(D-lactic acid) weight fractions of 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0%. The correlation results were obtained from the hybrid equation of state (Peng-Robinson equation of state + SAFT equation of state) for the CO2- polymer system using the van der Waals one-fluid mixing rule. The three binary interaction parameters were optimized by the simplex method algorithm.

In general, tracked combat vehicles require excellent output performance of a power unit system to drive on special terrains and in extreme environmental conditions. However, high temperature and pressure are readily applied to the coolant hose in the power unit of the vehicles during high-speed driving under extreme road and weather conditions. These driving conditions can cause the separation phenomenon of the coolant hose in the power unit and consequentially engine overheating during driving. Therefore, a newly designed decompression device for the coolant hose has been proposed and manufactured to solve these problems in the present study. To validate of the newly proposed decompression device, the input and output pressures were measured under the before- and after-improvement conditions using experimental methods for different engine RPMs. In addition, the pre-heater temperature was measured under both conditions. From the experimental results, we expect that the current investigation can help to improve the driving performance of tracked combat vehicles.
고압 매몰 천연가스 배관 누출사고 피해해석에 관한 연구

천연가스의 사용량이 날로 증가됨에 따라 고용량의 가스를 운송하기 위해 고압배관의 설치?운영이 불가피하고 이에 따라 고압의 매몰 천연가스배관에서 다양한 원인에 의한 결함 발생 시 대규모 누출로 이어지면 높은 압력의 가스 방출에 따른 대기 중 확산 그리고 점화원에 의한 화재?폭발로 인하여 큰 피해가 발생할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 고압의 매몰 천연가스배관에서 결함 발생 시 매몰된 배관에서의 가스 누출 거동 분석과 가스 확산 및 지연점화에 따른 플래시 화재의 피해 거리를 예측하여, 사고 영향을 감소할 수 있도록 대피거리의 산정 등에 의한 비상조치계획을 세워 안전관리 활동에 도움이 되고자 한다. Due to rapid rise of consuming rate for natural gas, installation and operation of high pressure natural gas pipeline is inevitable for high rate of gas transportation. Accordingly incidents on the underground high pressure natural gas pipeline come from various reasons will lead to massive release of natural gas and gas dispersion in the air. Further, fire and explosion from ignition of released gas may cause large damage. This study is for release rate, dispersion and flash fire of natural gas to establish a safety management system, setting emergency plan and safety distance.
수증기개질 가스화반응을 이용한 나왕톱밥으로부터 수소제조특성

Lauan sawdust was gasified by steam reforming for hydrogen production from biomass waste. The fixed bed gasification reactor with 1m height and 10.2 cm diameter was utilized for the analysis of temperature and catalysts effect. Steam was injected to the gasification reactor for the steam reforming effect. Lauan sawdust was mixed with potassium carbonate, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate+potassium carbonate and magnesium carbonate + calcium carbonate catalysts of constant mass fraction of 8:2 which was injected to the fixed gasification equipment. The compositions of production gas of gasification reaction were analyzed at the temperature range from 400˚C to 700˚C. Fractions of hydrogen, methane and carbon monoxide gas in the production gas increased when catalysts were used. Fractions of hydrogen, methane and carbon monoxide gas were increased with increasing temperature. The highest hydrogen yield was obtained with sodium carbonate catalyst.
