Defiintion, An ideal A of a semigroup S is said to strong iff SA=A=AS. Examples, (1) Let S be the real thread [0, 1]. Then [0, α] is a strong ideal for each a in S. (2) Let S be the unit disc. Then every concentral disc in S is a strong ideal. (3) Every ideal is strong in a semigroup with identity. (4) The minimal ideal K of S is strong.
A Note on Locally Path Connected Space

We showed that the properties of locally connected space and path connected space were investigated in many interesting part by many mathematican. In this paper we will show that the relations between locally connected space and path connected space are investigated well and we will extend many interesting properties about locally path connected spaces.
Pointwise Periodic Semigroups Ⅱ

The purpose of this paper is two folds. One of these in to find a structure of topological pointwise periodic semigroup, the orther one is to discuss about the properties of full ideal of a semigroup. It has shown that the pointwise periodic semigroup on as arc is a semilattice if it is a standard thread. There seems many full ideals in semigroups and they behave like the minimal ideal of a semigroup. Throughout this paper, topological semigroup [2][3] is simply called as semigroup.
Prediction of Retail Beef Yield Using Parameters Based on Korean Beef Carcass Grading Standards

Two sets of data on carcass traits and beef cut parameters were used to investigate the relationships between carcass and beef cut measurements, which can be used to make predictions of retail cut percentages. One set had a total of 1,141 measurements of Hanwoo cattle of three different sex origins, which were slaughtered in an abattoir located at the National Institute of Animal Science, RDA, Korea from 1996 to 2008. To develop prediction models for retail cut percentage with higher accuracies than the current model, another set consisting of a total of 13,389 records of carcass and beef cut traits were collected from 30 abattoirs and butcheries in Korea from 2008 to 2009. Bulls yielded heavier and leaner carcasses than steers. High correlation coefficients were estimated between amount of body fat and percent retail cut (-0.82) as well as between back fat thickness (BF) and percent retail cut (-0.62). The amount of retail cut, however, was highly correlated with body weight before slaughter (BW, 0.95) or with cold carcass weight (CWT, 0.94). Relationships between percent retail cut and measurable beef yield traits, BF, loin eye area (LEA) or CWT varied by sex class, which must be considered for development of a prediction model with high accuracy. Models of data for all breeds and sexes fit the effects of breed, sex, and interaction of abattoir by butchers, whereas models of data for each breed and sex fit the effect of interaction of abattoir by butcher only. Due to possible future changes in back fat control, we performed a log transformation of BF. Our new models fit better than the currently used model.
Topic Map을 이용한 3차원 가상환경 탐색항해 도구 설계

3차원 가상환경을 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서 사용자는 환경 내부의 방문할만한 장소들의 위치를 파악하고 그곳까지 도달하기 위한 탐색항해 기술에 익숙해 있어야 한다. 지금까지는 환경 구조의 중요 지점만을 정리한 요약 형태의 정보를 제공하는 방법이 주로 연구되고 있다. 그러나 사용자는 환경에 대해서 공간적 정보만으로 이해하지 않는다. 그보다는 환경 위에서 다루어지는 여러 주제들을 통해 환경을 이해하고 또한 타인과 정보를 교환한다. 본 논문에서는 의미기반의 탐색항해 기법인 Topic Map을 이용하여 공간지식과 개념지식을 포괄하는 정보를 활용하여 가상환경에 위치한 목적지를 찾아가는 탐색항해 도구를 제안한다. 이를 통해서 환경구조에 익숙하지 않은 사용자라도 효과적인 탐색항해를 수행할 수 있으며, 환경을 구성하는 객체들의 위치가 자주 변하더라도 사용자에게 동일한 탐색항해 환경을 제공할 수 있으리라 기대한다.
