Perception of Electronic News Media of Pakistan in the Digital Age
Saeed, Muzammil,Farooq, Tayyab,Khan, Muazam Ali,Mahmood, Nasir Center for Asian Public Opinion ResearchCollaborat 2021 Asian journal for public opinion research Vol.9 No.3
The news and views of Pakistani television channels are extensively shared on digital media for information or analysis where the general public discusses overt and covert agendas by mentioning their factual and presentational style. This study contributes to the contemporary studies of media perception through focus group interviews with 72 randomly selected master's and bachelor's students studying Media and Communication at the School of Media and Communication Studies, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan to provide information about the feelings and observations of future journalists and media literates. In summary, the findings of our research exposed the negative perception of Pakistani electronic media among the participants due to what they perceived as biased, inaccurate, and unethical reporting.

This work describes the practicability of utilizing bentonite clay as a cheap and raw support for heterogeneouscatalyst development. In the current research, ammonium persulfate (APS) impregnated bentonite heterogeneouscatalyst was designed for the conversion of waste cooking oil to biodiesel. The fabricated catalyst was analyzed byvarious instrumental techniques (FTIR, TGA, BET, SEM, XRD, and EDX) to study its various physiochemical properties. It was identified that the clay supported heterogeneous catalyst executed an excellent activity for waste cooking oilconversion as providing maximum biodiesel yield of 93% at optimal reaction conditions (reaction temperature 75 oC,oil/methanol molar ratio, 1 : 10; catalyst amount, 2.5 wt%; stirring rate, 600-rpm in 3.5 hr reaction time). Gas chromatographymass spectroscopy (GCMS) analysis confirms the successful conversion to biodiesel. Similarly, the variousphysiochemical characteristics of the synthesized biodiesel meet the international standard of American (ASTM6751)and European Union (EU-14214). Moreover, the designed acid catalyst showed catalytic activity for up to eight consecutiveruns demonstrate its good reusability.
Recent development in search for alternative low global warming potential refrigerants: A review

Conventional CFC type refirigerants were used Montreal Protocol which stated that CFC refirigerants cause ozon depletion and should be replaced with alternative refrigerants. The alternative refrigerants are safe for ozone but they have comparatively high flammability, toxicity and glabal worming potential. Thus thet need careful handling. In Tokyo Protocol, it was stated that the currently used refigerants with high global warming potential. This paper conmprehensively reviews those recent studies that focused over the possible replacement of currently in-use refrigerant with a comparatively more environment-friendly alternative refrigerant. Initially the progression of refrigerants through different generations has been described and discussed. A list of currently in-use refrigerants has been presented. Then, the scientific development for the replacement of lised refrigerants are thoroughly reviewed and critically analyzed. From the comprehensive review, it was found that R1234yf has the most potential to be a suitable low-flammale replacement for R134a for domestic refrigeration and automotive air-conditioning systems. Also, R32 has the most potential to be a suitable alternative of R410A.
