        Fabrication of nitrogen doped ordered mesoporous carbon derived from glucosamine with hybrid capacitive behaviors

        This paper introduces a nitrogen-doped ordered mesoporous carbon (NOMC) derived from glucosamine with hybrid capacitive behaviors, achieved by successfully combining electrical double-layer capacitance with pseudo-capacitance behaviors. The nitrogen doping content of the fabricated NOMC reached 7.4 at% while its specific surface area (SBET) and total pore volume reached 778 m2 g?1 and 1.17 cm3 g?1, respectively. A dual mesoporous structure with small mesopores centered at 3.6 nm and large mesopores centered at 9.9 nm was observed. The specific capacitance of the reported materials reached up to 328 F g?1, which was 2.1 times higher than that of pristine CMK-3. The capacitance retention rate was found to be higher than 87.9% after 1000 charge/discharge cycles. The supplementary pseudocapacitance as well as the enhanced wettability and conductivity due to the incorporation of nitrogen heteroatoms within the carbon matrixes were found to be responsible for the excellent capacitive performance of the reported NOMC materials.

        Stochastic Programming for the Optimization of Transportation-Inventory Strategy

        In today's competitive environment, supply chain management is a major concern for a company. Two of the key issues in supply chain management are transportation and inventory management. To achieve significant savings, companies should integrate these two issues instead of treating them separately. In this paper we develop a framework for modeling stochastic programming in a supply chain that is subject to demand uncertainty. With reasonable assumptions, two stochastic programming models are presented, respectively, including a single-period and a multi-period situations. Our assumptions allow us to capture the stochastic nature of the problem and translate it into a deterministic model. And then, based on the genetic algorithm and stochastic simulation, a solution method is developed to solve the model. Finally, the computational results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our model and algorithm.

        Exploitation and Protection of Biological Resources in Deep Seabed Areas beyond National Jurisdiction: China’s Legislation and Practice

        On February 26, 2016, PRC Law on the Exploration and Development of Resources in Deep Seabed Areas was adopted. As a landmark marine legislation, this law was formulated in line with the UNCLOS, the Rules of the International Seabed Authority, and the PRC Constitution. It opened a brand new era of marine development and utilization for China under the strategic background of maritime power. Facing the limitation and challenges about the ecosystem and risk prevention brought about by the UNCLOS and the Convention on Biological Diversity 1992, the maritime powers around the world, including China, have been making domestic legislation on the exploitation and protection of seabed resources beyond national jurisdiction. This paper introduces China’s policy for the exploitation and development of the ‘Areas’ in accordance with the UNCLOS, and makes a further interpretation on China’s related domestic legislations and practice.

        Removal of methylene blue from aqueous solution by a carbon-microsilica composite adsorbent

        Microsilica, one kind of industrial solid waste material, was utilized firstly to prepare a carbon-microsilica composite adsorbent (CMS). The prepared adsorbent was characterized with XPS, SEM and Gas sorption experiments. The results indicated the SO3H groups, which are very effective in capturing cationic organic dye, were introduced onto the surface of CMS; the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area (SBET) and total pore volume (Vtotal) of CMS reach 51m2/g and 0.045 cm3/g, respectively. Meanwhile, the possibility of the utilization of the adsorbent for removal of methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution was investigated. The effect of pH, contact time and initial MB concentration for MB removal were studied. Equilibrium data were modeled using the Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich equations to describe the equilibrium isotherms. It was found that data fit to the Langmuir equation better than the Freundlich equation. Maximum monolayer adsorption capacity was calculated at different temperatures (298,308, and 318 K) reach 251.81, 283.76 and 309.70 mg/g, respectively. It was observed that adsorption kinetics obeys the pseudo- first-order equation.

        <P>Atomically thin molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), a direct-band-gap semiconductor, is promising for applications in electronics and optoelectronics, but the scalable synthesis of highly crystalline film remains challenging. Here we report the successful epitaxial growth of a continuous, uniform, highly crystalline monolayer MoS2 film on hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) by molecular beam epitaxy. Atomic force microscopy and electron microscopy studies reveal that MoS2 grown on h-BN primarily consists of two types of nucleation grains (0 aligned and 60 degrees antialigned domains). By adopting a high growth temperature and ultralow precursor flux, the formation of 60 degrees antialigned grains is largely suppressed. The resulting perfectly aligned grains merge seamlessly into a highly crystalline film. Large-scale monolayer MoS2 film can be grown on a 2 in. h-BN/sapphire wafer, for which surface morphology and Raman mapping confirm good spatial uniformity. Our study represents a significant step in the scalable synthesis of highly crystalline MoS2 films on atomically flat surfaces and paves the way to large-scale applications.</P>

        A Transportation Problem with Uncertain Truck Times and Unit Costs

        Motivated by the emergency scheduling in a transportation network, this paper considers a transportation problem, in which, the truck times and transportation costs are assumed as uncertain variables. To meet the demand in the practical applications, two optimization objectives are considered, one is the total costs and another is the completion times. And then, a multi-objective optimization model is developed according to the situation in applications. Because there are commensurability and conflicting between the two objectives commonly, a solution does not necessarily exist that is best with respective to the two objectives. Therefore, the problem is reduced to a single objective model, which is an uncertain programming with a chance-constrain. After some analysis, its equivalent deterministic form is obtained, which is a nonlinear programming. Based on a stepwise optimization strategy, a solution method is developed to solve the problem. Finally, the computational results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our model and algorithm.

      • 元代亦集乃路祭祀探析

        현재 학계에서의 元代亦集乃路와 基層제사에 관한 연구는 매우 미흡하고, 동시에 출토된 문헌에 관한 연구와 이용도 한정되어 일천하다. 제사와 관련된 제사비용과 비용 지불수단 간의 관계 문제 등에 대해 아직 체계적인 전문 연구가 이루어 지지 않았다. 필자는 선배 학자들의 연구를 바탕으로 하여 傳世文獻과 出土文獻을 종합하여, 元代亦集乃路祭祀活動에 대해 체계적인 분석을 하였다. 黑水城에서 출토된 문헌을 통하여 元代의 亦集乃路祭祀物件, 祭祀時間, 祭品및 祭祀費用등에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과 元代의 亦集乃路祭祀는 몽골의 전통적인 제사 문화를 보존하였을 뿐만 아니라 漢人지역 문화의 영향도 받았음도 발견하였다. 이와 같은 영향은 祭祀物件방면에서 발견되었을 뿐만 아니라 祭祀用品의 선택 방면에 있어서도 자기 민족의 특색과 지역적 특징을 나타냈다. 제사비용의 사용내역을 통하여 “支鈔”형식의 제사비용 지불방식은 물가상승을 초래하였으며, 경제의 지속적인 惡化가 亦集乃路祭祀 활동에 직접적인 영향을 끼쳤음도 알 수 있었다. 官方의 제사에 대한 통치적 지위는 제사비용의 부족을 초래하였으며, 제사비용의 출처 경로도적어져 基層의 정상적인 제사활동에 영향을 주었다. 제사제도의 정상적인 추진을 위하여 정부에서는 부득이 자체의 정치권위에 의존하여 강제적으로 민간에 떠넘기는 현상이 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 서민들의 제사 부담을 가중시킴으로써 마지막에는 제사의 목적에 위배되었으며, 기층의 제사 기능을 약화시켜 元朝기층 사회의 와해를 가속화시켰다. Ejina Lu Yuan current academic research is weak and primary worship the same time, research and application of instruments unearthed limited and not deep enough to worship with the worship-related costs and expenses, such as means of payment is no systematic relationship between the specialized study in depth. I try to combine handed down in the previous literature and on the basis of archaeological study of ritual activities Ejina Lu Yuan sophisticated system. This paper documents unearthed by Blackwater, on the Yuan Dynasty Ejina Lu ritual objects, ritual time, sacrifice and the sacrifice of cost carried out by combing found Ejina Lu Yuan Mongolian traditional ritual sacrifice to retain the same culture, but also by the Han culture effect, this effect is not only reflected in the ritual objects, the products of choice in worship, but also reflect its own national characteristics and geographical character. Costs through the usage of worship can be found, "notes support" in the form of worship payment methods exacerbated prices continued to rise, the economy has continued to deteriorate set is the direct impact of the ritual activities. Dominance of the official status of sacrificial living alone exacerbated the shortage of funding for worship and sacrifice a small fee from the national channels, making the grass-roots festival is difficult to be normal, to protect the sacrificial system implementation, the Government had to rely on their own political authority, there forced to civil lent phenomenon, so increasing the burden of ordinary people, and ultimately inconsistent with the purpose of worship, ritual directly weakened the function of grass-roots, grass-roots community to accelerate the collapse of the Yuan Dynasty.
