쇠비름(Portulaca oleracea.L)은 쇠비름과에 속하는 한해살이풀로서 리놀렌산과 같은 불포화지방산, 페놀성 화합물, 플라보노이드, 비타민 C, 미네랄 함량이 높은 것으로 보고되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 쇠비름 추출물을 이용하여 UVB를 조사한 인간각질형성세포에서 광노화 억제능을 확인하였다. Matrix metalloproteinases는 세포의 기질을 분해하는 효소로 MMP-1는 collagenase, MMP-2와 MMP-9는 gelatinases로 피부 진피층을 구성하는 type Ⅰ collagen을 분해시키는데 영향을 미친다. UVB를 조사한 인간각질형성세포에서 쇠비름 추출물을 처리했을 때 MMP-1, -2, -9의 발현이 감소하였으며, type Ⅰ procollagen의 발현은 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 쇠비름 추출물을 처리한 군에서 UV에 의한 ROS 생성이 감소하였는데 이는 Nrf-2의 활성화를 통한 항산화 인자 SOD-1과 OH-1의 발현 증가로 인해 세포내 ROS 생성이 감소한 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 통해 쇠비름 추출물이 UVB를 조사한 인간각질형성세포에서 MMP 인자 및 항산화 인자의 발현 조절을 통해 광노화로부터의 세포 보호능을 가지는 것을 확인하였으며 나아가 화장품 소재로서의 개발 가능성을 확인하였다. Portulaca oleracea L. is an edible plant widely consumed in daily diet throughout Europe, Asia and America. In this study, protective effects of P. oleracea L. extracts against oxidative stress and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity induced by ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation were investigated using HaCaT immortal human keratinocytes. In this context, the mRNA and protein productions of MMPs (MMP-1, -2, and -9) and type I procollagen, which are major markers of photoaging induced by UVB radiation in HaCaT keratinocytes, were evaluated. Furthermore, UVB-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and mRNA and protein expression levels of superoxide dismutase-1 (SOD-1), oxygenase-1 (OH-1), and nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor-2 (Nrf-2), all of which are associated with the antioxidant balance, were investigated. As shown by the results, UVB radiation induced ROS formation and led to increased production of MMPs and decreased collagen production in human keratinocytes, which resulted in skin photoaging or photodamage. The treatment with P. oleracea L. extracts downregulated MMP (MMP-1, -2, and -9) production and upregulated type I procollagen expression in UVB-induced HaCaT cells. Furthermore, treatment with the extracts decreased UVB-induced ROS generation and increased the expression of antioxidant enzymes, such as SOD-1 and OH-1, through the Nrf-2 pathway. Taken together, these results suggest that P. oleracea L. extracts could be a potential cosmeceutical agent for the prevention of skin photoaging or photodamage.

This study aims at assessing the status of environment-friendly outdoor spaces in housing estates. For this purpose, 62 housing estates were selected : 28 housing estates from 3 new residential districts of Gaepo, Mockdong, and Sanggae in Seoul, and 34 housing estates from 3 new towns of Gwacheon, Bundang, and Joongdong around Seoul. As an assessment tool, the indices and standard from 'Land Use and Transportation field' and 'Ecological Environment field' of 'Green Building Certification' were used. The result of evaluation was that the quality of outdoor environment in Gwacheon was very high, and the next one was Bundang, Gaepo, Sanggae, Mockdong, and Joongdong in order. In 'Land Use and Transportation field', many housing estates in Mockdong got high scores, and in 'Ecological Environment field', Gwacheon made a good score.

본 논문에서는 마이크로파 수분측정장치를 위한 센서용 전력증폭기를 마이크로파 회로 설계용 CAD Tool인 Harmonica를 사용하여 최적화 시키고 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 실험을 통하여 동작 주파수 대역에서의 제 동작특성이 설계사양을 만족하는 결과를 얻었으며 증폭기의 전력 고효율화에 관한 특성을 설명하였다. Cripp의 방법을 이용하여 최적 부하임피던스를 결정하고 출력단을 Wilkinson형 전력분배기/결합기를 이용한 2단 증폭기를 구성하였다. 정합회로의 설계는 집중정수 소자와 마이크로스트립 선로를 이용하여 구현하고 동작 주파수대역에 대하여 설계사양에 대해 최적화시켜 회로를 구성하였다. 바이어스 전압조정을 통하여 출력전류와 전압파형이 이상적 파형이 되도록 하여 전력부가효율 특성의 고효율과를 기하였다. 본 논문에서 설계된 전력증폭기는 주파수 0.8∼2.0(GHz)대역에서 전력 1.0[W]정도의 출력을 가지며 60%이상의 높은 전력효율 특성을 갖는다. In this paper, the power amplifier for microwave moisture measurement system over the frequency band of 0.8-2.O[GHz] is designed using the microwave circuit CAD simulator, Harmonica, and described the higher power added efficiency characteristic of the designed power amplifier through the simulated result of its current and voltage waveforms by controlling the operating bias voltage near to pinch-off. Cripp's method is used to design the optimum output load impedance and the Wilkinson type power coupler/divider is used to schematic of the output power stage to obtain appropriate output power level. The designed power amplifier using the microstrip lines and lumped elements properly on the teflon substrate (ε_{γ} =2.54 , h=0.64mm) show the output power is 1.0[W] and the power added efficiency is greater than 60% across the frequency band of 0.8∼2.0[GHz]. This amplifier designed in this paper is considered generally suitable to the microwave moisture measurement system which is required output power level about l.0[W].

The purpose of this study is to analyze the statistical contribution of anthropometrical and physiological characteristics underlying 5,000 meter running performance in 5 high schools(group A) and 5 national representative(group B) male distance runners. 1.The relationship between heights(168.80cm vs 169.40cm) in 5,000 meter running performance was not significant in group A and group B, but the relationship between weights(53.80kg vs 59.20kg) in 5,000 meter running performance was significant in grouts B. 2.There were no differences in maximal heart rates(192 vs 192.40) between two groups A and B. 3.There was no significant relationship between VO2 max and 5,000 meter performance for both(76.96㎖/kg/min vs 79.80㎖/kg/min). 4.Blood lactate concentration of recovery phase was shown a significantly high lactate removal ability in group B, compared with group A(P<.02, P<.04, P<.01). 5.It was pointed out that the important causes of anthropometrical and physical attributes were ① before lactate acid ② weight ③ height (r=0.82, -0.75, 0.64) in group A. ① before lactate acid ② recovery blood lactate ③ VO2 max (r=0.75, -0.65, 0.65) in group B in the long distance running performance. As a result, it was been pointed out that a number of anthropometrical and physical attributes such as body size, body composition, running economy, pulmonary function, cardiovascular-respiratory function and running history as well as maximal oxygen consumption are relatively relevant to success in the long distance running performance. Based on the statistical analysis, high school(group A) male distance runners made more oxygen consumption and lactate than those of group B.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between mental toughness and the level of performance and playing experience in boxing players. Subjects were 138 boxing players of high schools and colleges in Korea. Mental Toughness Test was used which was developed by Loehr(1982). The analysis of data was conducted by using One-Way ANOVA and Scheffe's test. The results were as follows; 1. With regard to the performance level, the mental toughness showed a significant difference in the factors of Arousal Control, Attention Control, Visualization and Imagery Control, and Attitude Control. 2. With regard to the years of playing experience, the mental toughness showed a significant difference in the factors of Arousal Control and Attention Control.

(1) Authors studied seasonal fluctuation of psychiatric admission preliminarily, based on data of admission to Pusan area for a 4 year period of 1960-1963, and obtained following impressions. (2) The rate of admission in Pusan area and its seasonal fluctuation appear quite similar to those reported by investigators for European, American and Japanese cities. Thus the admission increases in spring and reaches the maximum in May and then gradually decreases toward the end of year. (3) The data obtained by statistical analysis of the seasonal fluctuation in Pusan area were compared with those of foreign ones in order to observe how to be related to the latitude of the locality. It is the general tendency that the lower latitude showed increase of admission in earlier months of the year than the higher latitude did. (4) It is a impression that the admission of affective psychoses are more sensitive to the climatic factors than the schizophrenics. (5) It is conjured by the authors that the socio-cultural and economic factors should be considered to give an account of the seasonal fluctuation of psychiatric admission.

Crime is one of the eternal factors that is difficult to cure in a human society. Conceptually the fear of crime is an interesting point to sociologists and crinminologists. Most people are concerned about the quality of public security crime prevention. They are skeptical wonder if the police, who is typically ensure the public security, can support basic functions and roles of crime prevention to ensure the safety of citizens. The 9.11 terrorist attack on New York illustrated the vulnerability of traditional systems and recognizes that there are "no safe zone" in the world. The history of private security in Korea is shorter than other countries, U.S and Japan, etc. The development of private security in Korea began 1960s, and has show hasty development in the early 1980s. At that moment, national events and festivals such as the Asian Games and Olympic Games stimulated the development of Korean private security industry, Relatively the Korean private security market is in the beginning phase. Most private security companies in Korea cooperate with foreign security companies. As matter of fact, the policy of private security in Korea has been affected by the adaption of foreign policy. This study is limited to small private security companies. We will try to compare private security activities, mainly to larger companies and arrange and suggest related the goals of private security regulations and implementation of private security operations.

Population is concentrated urban region in Korea. It is leading to over-massed dwelling of urban region and was made worse by the residential environment. This study is comparison of population density by the city size of the Master Plan in Korea. Analytical method decide ranking at thirty-five cities of Korea by the census in 1975 and it divided into city size which is Metropolis (over a million), Large City (300-1,000 thousand), Middle Town (100-300 thousand) and Small Town (under 100 thousand persons). In this study, population density for possible developing area was computed by the presumption of population in 1986. The results of this study are summerized as follows: 1). Population plan was underestimated in Metropolis (Seoul, Busan and Daegu) by policy agreement. 2). The possible developing area's population density will proper in under-a million's city. 3). The Metropolis cause an advance in the population density of possible developing area in 1936 and will bring about a change for the worse of residential environment. (362persons/ha.) 4). A plan of solution to a population density's rising is necessary re-enforcement of re-completed master plan and the plan of arrangements for residential area must be considered in the plan of re-completed master plan.

This study is for the establishment standard on the blighted degree in urban renewal area. The factors of establishment standard is population density, ratio of a building site, size of a building site, diffusion ratio of road, ground coverage, volume ratio of building, dwelling space of a person, total floor space per building, and others. As a result of this study, the standard of renewal area appointment is as follows. 1) Population density … over 300 person per hectare. 2) Ratio of a building site … over 70 percent. 3) Size of a building site … under 120㎡ 4) Diffusion ratio of the road … under 25 percent. 5) Ground coverage of a building … over 55 percent. 6) Volume ratio of a building … over 120 percent. 7) Dwelling space of a person … under 20㎡ 8) Total floor space per a building … under 80㎡ 9) Age of building … over 40 years.
