When people are asked to described certain textiles, they frequently refer to the expressions of its properties such as attractiveness, uniqueness, shininess, robustness, comfortability, and so on. It shows how senses play important role in it. Human employs their senses when interacting with textiles, most notably visual and tactile/ haptic to absorb its expressive properties. Yet, our sensorial experiences may amplify when interacting with those of traditional textiles, such as batik, as we can entice sensations when seeing its motifs and patterns, smelling its materials, and touching its surfaces. The multi-sensorial importance of seeing, smelling, and touching in the interaction with and experience of textiles suggests that one should address senses in a systematic way when evaluating users` perception on traditional textiles. To address this issue, the paper proposes the incorporation of Kansei Engineering (KE) approach for identifying multi-sensorial experiences on the expressive properties of traditional textiles, using batik as a case of study. KE approach address person`s psychological understanding when observing things in order to analyze and study the inherent relationship between person`s perceptual knowledge and objects evaluated. This paper outlines the use of KE approach in correlating sensorial perceptions when experience with traditional textiles and ultimately expose users` preferences toward them. Background of KE approach on textiles will be explored and its application for the multi-sensorial investigation of traditional textiles will be discussed.

The term “strategic plan” is a new type of approach for the Indonesian government that has been introduced since 1999 based on Law No. 22/1999. This essay examines the implementation of strategic plans in Yogyakarta Special Province (YSP). The visions and missions of the YSP are investigated as a basis of analysis. Using qualitative data and a case study method, the research also conducted in-depth interviews with bureaucrats in YSP. First, YSP attempted to provide the strategic plans to be followed by government officers in their activities according to strategic design and planning school approaches. Second, most local government agencies have poor understanding of their visions and missions. Third, because of the zero-sum game effect, it was difficult to attain the goals and missions. Fourth, the strategic plan has been implemented but not properly executed in the strategic zone, nor did it support the reaching of its missions.
Government Control vs Market Mechanism in the Land Use Market in Human Settlement Development
( Achmad Nurmandi ),( Nugroho Trisusanto ) 한국행정학회 2013 한국행정학회 학술발표논문집 Vol.2013 No.-
Structure plans have been used in Indonesia since the 1960s and applied throughout the regency or municipality and the province as one form of landuse control, particularly for private land development, to sustain water conservation. Sleman Regency issued Regulation No. 23 of 1994, an instrument designed to control massive private land development for housing projects. Furthermore, to control land development because of the expansion of the city, the local government established the Office of Land Control Areas (DPPD). This study aims to investigate the state`s capacity to control land conversion for development through licensing mechanisms, particularly land conversionfrom wetland /paddy fields to non-paddy fields. Trend analysis and gap analysis using geographic information system (GIS) data are used to evaluate differences between developmental plans and actual land conversion. The results of this study onthe conversion of village land for rivate housing projects from years 2006-2008 found that 550.05 ha of land has been c onverted, but only 236 ha of land was converted through the permit process.
Faults Detection and Classification of Induction Motor using Wavelet Support Vector Machine
Achmad Widodo,Bo-Suk Yang(양보석),Soo-Mok Lee(이수목) 한국동력기계공학회 2006 한국동력기계공학회 학술대회 논문집 Vol.- No.-
This paper concerns of establishing the intelligent system for faults detection and classification of induction motor using wavelet support vector machine (W-SVM). Support vector machine (SVM) is well known as an intelligent classifier with strong generalization ability. Application of non-linear SVM using kernel function is widely used for multi-class classification procedure. In this paper, building kernel function using wavelet is introduced and applied for SVM multi-class classifier. Moreover, the feature vectors for training classification routine are obtained from feature extraction and reduction using component analysis via independent component analysis (ICA) and principal component analysis (PCA). Hence, a relatively new intelligent faults detection and classification method called W-SVM is established. This method is used to induction motor for faults detection based on vibration signal. The results show that this method can well classify and separate each condition of faults in induction motor based on experimental work. Finally, it can contribute the intelligent faults detection system in the future.

This research aims to study an effect of sodium chloride solution concentration on the corrosion rate of AA1100 aluminium alloy and SGACD zinc coated steel lap joint with a test duration of 30 days and a test temperature of 45o. The summarized results are as follows. Increase of the NaCl solution concentration increased the weight loss of Al, corrosion rate of Al, weight loss of Fe and also decreased the corrosion rate of Fe. Increase of the test duration affected to increase the weight loss and corrosion rate of Al and also decrease the weight loss and corrosion rate of Fe. The corrosion that was formed in a lap joint consisted of the uniform corrosion on the surface of the metals and the galvanic corrosion in the lap area of the joint. The maximum weight loss of AA 1100 aluminium and SGACD zinc coated steel that was occurred in the sodium chloride with 3.25% was 2.203% and 3.208%, respectively.. The maximum corrosion rate of AA 1100 aluminium and SGACD zinc coated steel that was occurred in 4.00% and 3.5% sodium chloride solution was 0.156 mm/year and 0.479 mm/year, respectively.
Factors Affecting Innovative Work Behavior: Mediating Role of Knowledge Sharing and Job Crafting
Achmad Sani SUPRIYANTO,Agus Eko SUJIANTO,Vivin Maharani EKOWATI 한국유통과학회 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.11
This study aimed to investigate the influence of spiritual leadership on innovative work behavior and the effect of knowledge sharing on job crafting. Furthermore, the roles of knowledge sharing as a mediator for the impact of spiritual leadership on innovative work behavior, and job crafting as a mediator for the relationship between variables, were also examined. This research employed quantitative analysis, including the PLS-SEM approach; SMART-PLS, a measurement and structural equation model was employed to explain the relationship between variables, and the effect of mediation. The population study consisted of all lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Economics and Business at the PTKIN in East Java, Indonesia, comprising 220 randomly-selected samples. The result showed spiritual leadership does not directly influence innovative work behavior, while knowledge sharing directly affects job crafting. The findings indicated knowledge sharing mediates the impact of spiritual leadership on innovative work behavior, and the role of job crafting as a mediator for the relationship between variables was accepted. Therefore, this research confirms a positive influence of knowledge sharing on job crafting, and indicates both factors play an important role in mediating between variables, and are important for lecturers’ innovative work behavior.
Socialization, Service and Knowledge Matter with Taxpayer Compliance
Achmad MAQSUDI,Tri RATNAWATI,Slamet RIYADI 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.6
Tax collections from land and building (axes (LBT) have particularly suffered in East Java and as a result, the provincial government is still looking at a big shortfall in tax revenue. East Java is facing a silent fiscal crisis owing to a shortfall in tax revenues, and the government’s budget suggests it may have grossly underestimated the problem. This research was conducted to prove the effect of taxpayer awareness as a mediator (mediating/intervening variable) on the impact of tax socialization, service quality, and taxpayers’ knowledge on taxpayer compliance. The sampling technique used is the consecutive method by taking a sample of 400 taxpayers in East Java province, Indonesia. Using the help of AMOS software version 26, the statistical analysis method used is the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model, with the Generalized Least Square Estimation Parameters. Based on the research results, tax socialization, service quality, and taxpayer knowledge have a positive impact on taxpayer compliance directly. Furthermore, there is an indirect positive impact relationship between tax socialization, service quality, and tax information on taxpayer compliance through taxpayer awareness as a mediator, but only on a small scale. Tax authorities are expected to increase the taxpayers’ awareness, through increasing tax socialization, service quality, and taxpayer knowledge, so that taxpayers are more compliant in paying LBT.
