This survey on the housing consumers in the Daegu region aims to understand their needs for differentiating design items, which are now regarded to be essential factors to take the lead in the apartment housing market. The survey questionnaires on the differentiating items in six categories, were filled by 135 apartment households in Deagu, and the answers on each item were analyzed according to their home size and age. For the general apartment plan, the strongest need was found in the energy saving design; and larger windows for a fine view are significantly favored by the older households. For the unit design, more households were interested in the design items related to the kitchen or subsidiary-kitchens. For the storage space design, enough space for ampler storage was desired the most. For the interior design, prevailing needs for the use of environment-friendly furnishing materials and the non-slippery flooring of bathroom were found. For facilities and up-to-date system design, most of households displayed their interests in noise-proof doors. For the environment design of the complex, the need for a walk passage was highest in general.
지속가능한 도시재생을 위한 도심 지하공간의 커뮤니티 공간 계획에 관한 연구

Korean cities need sustainable urban regeneration based on the effective application of space and resource. Especially a sustainable urban regeneration needs the activation of community in the urban underground space as urban development center. The purpose of this study is to propose elements and factors of spatial planning of community in urban underground space for sustainable urban regeneration and to propose the characteristics of spatial planning of community in urban underground space according to strategies of sustainable urban regeneration. The research methods of this study used to conduct research include precedent study reviews and survey. The conclusions of this study are as following; The application of various factors related to spatial planning aspect of communication, supportive cultural facilities, accessibility and nature is needed for creating a sustainable urban regeneration. Especially, in urban underground space, the application of spatial planning for community activation considered strategies of sustainable urban regeneration should be necessary. And introduction of cultural facilities, multi-dimensional pedestrian network for accessibility and natural elements for activating community in urban underground space are needed for making sustainable urban regeneration.

본 연구의 목적은 범죄로부터 안전한 주거환경을 제공하기 위하여 이에 관한 계획 방안과 유형을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 첫째, 범죄로부터 안전한 공공 임대 공동 주거단지 조성을 위한 범죄예방 환경계획 유형은 ‘고립ㆍ위험공간 환경계획’, ‘출입통제 환경계획’, ‘지하주차장 환경계획’, ‘감시환경계획’, ‘활동성 증대 및 엘리베이터 환경계획’, ‘가시적 요소 계획’이다. 둘째, 공공 임대 공동 주거단지의 범죄 예방 환경설계가 우선으로 적용되어야 하는 공간은 단지 출입구, 외부공용시설, 지하주차장 등이다. 셋째, 공공임대 공동 주거단지에서의 주야간 범죄예방 환경 조성을 위해서는 조명 시설의 확보가 필요하다. 넷째, 범죄예방 환경 조성을 위해서는 고립 및 위험공간에서 방범 시설의 확보가 필요하다. 다섯째, 범죄 예방 환경 조성을 위해서는 자연적 감시가 용이한 공간 구성이 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to propose environmental design strategies and tautologies so that we can provide the residents of public rental residential complexes with crime-free residential environment. As the results of the study, the following conclusions are drawn. First, environmental planning tautologies for crime prevention in creating crime-free public rental residential complexes are ‘environmental plan for isolated and risky area’, ‘environmental plan for access control’, ‘environmental plan for underground parking lot’, ‘environmental plan for surveillance’, ‘environmental plan for activity support and elevator’, and ‘environmental plan for visible factor’. Second, among public rental residential complexes, spaces where implementation of crime prevention through CPTED is needed prior to other spaces are complex entrances, outdoor public facilities, underground parking lots, etc. Third, lighting facilities are also important in creating crime-free environment. Fourth, security facilities should be installed around isolated and risky areas. Fifth, the spatial composition which can make natural surveillance possible is required.
도심 엔터테인먼트형 복합상업시설 지하공간에 자연요소를 이용한 실내 환경디자인 방안에 관한 연구

The underground space of urban entertainment center can do various roles for urban development. Especially, the design of underground space using natural elements is necessary to sustainable development of facilities. The purpose of this study is to propose the elements, characteristics and application around interior environmental design using natural elements in underground space of urban entertainment center. The research methods of this study are research references, survey and field-study. This study can be concluded as follows; First, the factors of interior environmental design using natural elements in underground space of urban entertainment center are ‘landmarks expression of natural elements’, ‘introduction and planning of daylighting’, ‘planning of materials using natural images’, ‘planning of ecological footpath’ and ‘planning of energy recycling’. Second, pedestrian space and openspace considering regional context are necessary. Third, introduction of daylight and design of artificial lighting in underground space are needed to making eco-friendly environment. Fourth, landmark design using various natural elements in underground space is needed to provide eco-friendly amenity. Fifth, the interior environmental design using natural elements is needed to community space in underground space. Sixth, eco-friendly pedestrian space in underground space is necessary. Seventh, interior environmental design using natural elements is needed to the entrance of underground space of urban entertainment center
도심 복합상업시설 공용공간의 보행자 지원적 환경계획에 관한 연구

Recently, urban mixed-use commercial facilities have been required to raise a safe environment in public areas. So, this study focuses on analyze planning factors selected through the precedent research for Pedestrian safety and environment of urban mixed-use commercial facilities. The first purpose of this study is to analyse the applicative estimation of environmental plan to support pedestrians in public space of urban mixed-use commercial facilities in Seoul. And the second purpose of this study is to propose the directions of environmental planning for creating a pedestrian-friendly environment in public space of urban mixed-use commercial facilities. In order to accomplish this purpose, the environmental planning factors for supporting pedestrians and guidelines for disabled shown in the precedent studies are drawn. A survey of research subjects are 4 urban mixed-use commercial facilities located in downtown Seoul. And then a questionnaire survey is performed on architecture and interior design students to evaluate the importance. As a result of the study, the following conclusion are drawn. The pedestrian-friendly environment in urban mixed-use commercial facilities requires planning to strengthen accessibility, supporting and safety of public space.
