본 연구의 목적은 의사소통을 위한 인문치료에서 신경언어프로그래밍(Neuro-Linguistic Programming, 이하 NLP)의 메타모델(Meta-Model)을 분석하고 활용 가능성을 모색하는 것이다. 메타모델은 화자가 의사소통을 할 때 일어나는 메타모델의 위반에 의미와 통사적인 성분을 분명하게 해줌으로써 의사소통의 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 메타모델의 반응에는 단순삭제, 불특정 지시적 지표, 명사화, 불특정 동사, 전칭 양화사, 양상연산자, 복합등치, 가정, 인과관계, 마음읽기, 수행자상실 등의 반응이 사용되었다. 인문치료에서는 내담자의 메타모델을 통해 내담자의 언어를 분석하여 내담자가 직접 삭제, 왜곡, 일반화된 정보를 다시 복원시키게 함으로써 내담자의 자신을 통찰하게 할 수 있어서 인문치료 활동에서 메타모델이 적극 활용될 수 있다. 그러나 여전히 NLP 메타모델의 이론적인 입증과 타당성이 추후 연구에서 요구된다. 그리고 인문치료에서 메타모델이 적극 활용되어 그 치료적 효과에 대한 연구들도 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to examine Meta-Model based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming in order to adapt it in Humanities Therapy for communication. Meta-Model solves the clients' problems of deletion, distortion and generalization that occur in communication. Meta-Model uses the following challenges: simple deletion, unspecific referential index, nominalization, unspecific verb, universal quantifier, complex equivalence, presuppositions, cause-effect, mind reading, and lost performance. Meta-Model can be used as useful tools in Humanities Therapy. Meta-Model can restore clients' internal process and solve the problems that the clients have in communication. The programs including Language therapy, Literature therapy, Philosophy therapy and Arts therapy in Humanities Therapy may use and adapt Meta-Model so that clients can change themselves. It is necessary to study theoretical proof and validity of Meta-Model in near future. Finally, it is suggested that Meta-Model can be used as useful tools in Humanities Therapy.
