Nanosilver particles-based conductive patterns developed by direct soft imprint lithography

For the direct patterning of electronic device structures, the present work explored an idea of using UV imprint based on nanosilver particles-dispersed UV (ultraviolet) curable resin. In current work, asreceived Ag solution was applied to HEMA (hydroxyethyl methacrylate) as an ultraviolet (UV) curable precursor with the addition of photoinitiator (~3 wt%) to formulate electrically conductive resin mixtures with the Ag contents of 40–60 wt%. The UV exposed imprinted patterns with PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) stamp become electrically conductive after properly optimized heat treatment. Those are, then, wetetched to remove imprint residue, which lead to the formation of the isolated current transfer media. This imprint scheme can contribute to substantially reduced process steps and corresponding costs associated with additional metal processes.

As the water hydraulics is more and more highlighted in wide applications, many varieties of research on design, materials and manufacturing methods of water hydraulic components have been carried out. Especially, the water hydraulic piston pump used to be the subject of study in relation to its tilting cam drive mechanism. However, in spite of same operating mechanism with various relative sliding parts, the water hydraulic axial piston pump have more friction and leakage than oil hydraulic one because of lower viscosity and poor lubricated condition by using tap water as working fluid. Therefore, in order to reduce the friction and leakage, rod type pistons and Birfield joint as a constant velocity drive of the tilting cam are adopted. In this paper, we have designed the tilting cam drive mechanism consist of rod type pistons and Birfield joint, and analyzed the drive characteristics of it.

This paper compared a Modified C-dump converter and energy efficient converter topologies, derived from the conventional C-dump converter, for switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives The proposed topologies overcome the limitations of the conventional C-dump converter, and could reduce the whole cost of the SRM drive. Also, the above converters have simple control requirements, and allow the motor phase current to free wheel during chopping mode. Specially, the voltage ratings of the dump capacitor and some of the switching devices in the proposed an Energy efficient C-dump converter is reduced to the supply voltage (V-dc) level compared to twice the supply voltage (2V-dc) in the conventional C-dump converter. Simulation and experimental results of the proposed converters are presented and verified.<br/> <br/>
