The development of glucose biosensors has been attracting much attention because of their importance in monitoring glucose in the human body; such sensors are used to diagnose diabetes and related human diseases. Thanks to the high selectivity, sensitivity to glucose detection, and relatively low-cost fabrication of enzyme-immobilized electrochemical glucose sensors, these devices are recognized as one of the most intensively investigated glucose sensor types. In this work, ZnO nanofibers were synthesized using an electrospinning method with polyvinyl alcohol zinc acetate as precursor material. Using the synthesized ZnO nanofibers, we fabricated glucose biosensors in which glucose oxidase was immobilized on the ZnO nanofibers. The sensors were used to detect a wide range of glucose from 10 to 700 M with a sensitivity of $10.01nA/cm^2-{\mu}M$, indicating that the ZnO nanofiber-based glucose sensor can be used for the detection of glucose in the human body. The control of nanograins in terms of the size and crystalline quality of the individual nanofibers is required for improving the glucose-sensing abilities of the nanofibers.
남자 대학생의 의류제품 구매시 선택기준 및 구매 단계별 소재의 영향

The purpose of this study were to survey the selection criteria about clothing products, and to identity the fabric impact on the decision-making process for clothing purchase. The 115 questionnaires were distributed to the university male students, and were analyzed by frequencies, x² and t-test. The results were as follows: 1) Male students considered the elements of design, size, price and color of clothing when they purchased their outer clothing. 2) They considered fabric when they purchased their underwear. 3) There were partially significant differences on the knowledge about the fabric according to the year of the students and major. 4) The most consideration label of the first-year male students was the size, but the other(sophomore, junior, senior) students was the care symbol. 5) The consideration of the fabric influenced upon the post-purchase process. 6) The first-year male students showed less concern about the fabric than the other students did during the decision-making process for clothing purchase.
한미 여대생의 의류소재 추구혜택과 천연염색 태도가 천연염색 의류의 구매의도에 미치는 영향 비교

The purpose of this study is to compare the purchase intention on naturally dyed clothing between Korea and the US· As independent variables that affect the purchase intention, benefits that consumers seek when purchasing naturally dyed clothing, especially for fabric materials, and attitudes towards naturally dyed clothing were selected· A quantitative research method with a survey was employed· 160 data from Korea and 180 data from the US were used for the analysis· The convenience sampling method (i·e·, college female students) was used· Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and regression analysis were employed to test the differences in purchase intention, fabric benefit sought, and the attitudes· The fabric benefit sought selected for this study includes eco-friendliness, uniqueness, aesthetic, comfort and quality· The attitude toward naturally dyed clothing was categorized as an emotional and a cognitive attitude· The results show the significant differences in the fabric benefit sought depending on nationality, major and experiences in natural dyeing· Significant differences were found in of the attitude toward naturally dyed clothing among the nationalities and the experience types in natural dyeing· In addition, there were significant differences in purchase intention toward naturally dyed clothing between Korean and the US participants, and countries show different fabric benefits and attitudes which influenced participants’ purchase intention· The results of this study suggest an appropriate fabric planning for environment-friendly fashion products for both countries·
여대생의 의류소재 인지도와 의류제품 구매시 소재의 영향

The purpose of this study were to survey the fabric knowledge about clothing products, and to identity the fabric impact on the decision-making process for clothing purchase. The 114 questionnaires were distributed to the university female students, and were analyzed by frequencies, t-test and oneway ANOVA. The results were as follows: 1) Female students considered the elements of design, size, fabric and color of clothing more than the elements of the ease of care, price, sewing, and fashion when they purchased their clothing products. 2) They considered fabric more when they purchased their underwear than when they purchased other clothing product items. 3) There were partially significant differences on the knowledge about the fabric according to the year of the students and major. 4) The consideration of the fabric influenced upon the pre-purchase alternative evaluation and the post-purchase process as well. 5) The first-year female students showed less concern about the fabric than the other(sophomore, junior, senior) students did during the post-purchase process.
