고등학교 역사부도의 분석과 활용방안 ―세계사 분야의 학습자료를 중심으로―

지난 2014년 10월 발표된 새로운 개정 교육과정은 ‘문·이과 통합형 교육과정 총론’이라는 제목으로하여 ‘창의 융합형 인재 육성’을 목표로 한다. 다양하고 많은 보조자료를 활용하는 중등 교육의 역사과목에서는 현재 보조교재로 사용 중인 역사부도를 검토할 필요가 있다. 하지만 이 역사부도는 채택과 사용의 강제성이 없고, ICT수업의 영향으로 교사가 직접 준비한 멀티미디어 자료에 밀려 외면당하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본고에서는 역사부도의 활용가치와 역사 교과서와의 연계성, ‘다양성과 균형적 서술’에 입각한 서술 여부 등을 고찰해 보았다. 그 결과 몇 가지 문제점이 발견되었는데, 서술상의 오류 및 교과서와 역사부도 사이의 미흡한 연계성, 편향적인 자료의 수록도 눈에 띄었는데, 원인을 분석해본 결과 현 역사부도 검정 시스템에 문제가 있었다. 따라서 역사부도가 보조교재로서 역할에 충실하기 위해서는 국가가 주도하여 신뢰성을 보장받고 사용자와 상호소통이 가능하며 학계의 연구성과와 교재의 오류를 신속하게 반영할 수 있는, 다른 형태의 역사부도를 모색해야할 것이라 생각된다. 이를 위해 필자는 웹기반형 자료실을 참고하여 현재 활용되고 있는 웹 기반형 사이트들을 분석하고 새로운 형태의 사이트를 구성해 보았다. The new revision curriculum, which was announced in October 2014, is aimed at "nurturing talented people with creative talents" under the title of "general education curriculum integrated with liberal arts and natural sciences". In the history education, which utilizes diverse aids, it is necessary to review the ‘history textbook supplement’ currently being used as an auxiliary textbook. However, this ‘history textbook supplement’ is not compulsory to adopt and use, and it is neglected by the multimedia data prepared by teachers because of the influence of the ICT class. Therefore, this study examined the value of the use of ‘history textbook supplement’ in connection with history textbooks and the description based on 'diversity and balanced description'. As a result, some problems were found, and there was a noticeable lack of descriptive errors, a lack of link between textbooks and history, and biased data. Therefore, in order for the ‘history textbook supplement’ to be faithful to its role as a supplementary textbook, it is necessary to seek a different type of ‘history textbook supplement’, which can be led by the state in order to ensure reliability; communicate with users; and quickly reflect the academic achievements and errors of the textbooks. To this end, I analyzed web-based sites that are currently being used by means of referring to the web-based archive, and constructed a new type of web-site.
