In this study, a experiment has been developed for measuring the exhaust pressure of muffler at inlet and outlet. The main experimental parameters were a engine speed and sound absorbing material in the muffler. The muffer sound absorbing material tested a steel wool and glass wool. The exhaust pressure was measured with pressure sensor. The phase of exhaust pressure with high speed was moved according to increasing engine speed comparing with exhaust pressure w1th low speed. Also, the distribution of exhaust pressure at the model-1, 2 and 3 are similar with distribution of exhaust pressure at muffler inlet.

The ejector system is used for making a low pressure in industrial field. The ejector is consists of nozzle, mixing section and diffuser. The diffuser is influenced in low pressure of ejector system. The diffuser is an important fluid-mechanical equipment to convert kinetic energy into pressure energy. Many of the experimental and theoretical researches have been done in a diffuser but the understanding of energy transfer and detailed mechanism of energy dissipation is unclear. In this study, computations were performed using a numerical method with SIMPLE algorithm for conical diffuser with various diffuser angles and Reynolds number. Also, we investigated the pressure recovery coefficient in conical diffuser by inserting strut. In this paper, we showed that the strut can cause a rising pressure recovery.

The present study is an investigation on the characteristics of heavy load torque converter at various input speed. To get the characteristics of a torque converter, a dynamometer was used ; input speed, output speed, input torque, output torque, etc. The present experimental data were compared with other experiments, in order to ensure a reliability. The torque converter was tested for various input speed.
