하버마스는 「진리이론」에서 담론이론을 개진하고 있는데, 담론이 이루어지는 토대는 생활세계이자 현실 공간이다. 하버마스의 도덕적 담론은 도덕규범과 관련하여 그 타당성 요구가 주제화되어 논의되는 것이다. 그는 이것이 이루어지기 위해서는 이상적 담화상황이 전제되어야 한다고 주장하며, 이상적 담화상황의 세부조건으로 네 가지를 제시한다. 연구자는 오늘날 사이버 공간에서 이루어지고 있는 의사소통인 CMC (computer mediated communication)가 이상적 담화상황의 세부조건에 긍정적으로 기여를 할 수 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 CMC의 특징을 쌍방향성, 동시성 및 비동시성, 공간적 제약의 극복, 익명성, 탈중심화로 국한하여 살펴보고, 사이버공간에서 도덕적 담론의 기반이 되는 CMC의 특징이 이상적 담화상황의 네 가지 세부조건을 충족시킬 수 있는지 검토하였다. 동시성 및 비동시성, 공간적 제약의 극복, 탈중심화를 통해 동등한 기회를 가지고 의사소통의 과정에 참여할 수 있게 되므로 첫 번째 조건은 충족된다. 쌍방향성과 탈중심화를 통해 어떠한 견해에 대해서도 타당성을 문제 삼을 수 있고 반박할 수 있는 동일한 기회를 가질 수 있게 되므로 두 번째 조건은 충족된다. 익명성을 통해 외적인 영향이 배제된 가운데 자신의 태도, 감정, 요구를 표현할 수 있는 동일한 기회를 가질 수 있게 되므로 세 번째 조건은 충족된다. 쌍방향성을 통해 담론 참여자들 간의 행위 기대의 상호성이 이루어지게 되므로 네 번째 조건은 충족된다. 이와 같이 사이버 공간에서 도덕적 담론의 토대가 되는 CMC의 특정이 하버마스가 담론이 이루어지기 위해서 전제되어야만 한다고 주장하는 이상적 담화상황의 세부조건을 대략적으로 충족시킴을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 우리의 삶을 둘러싼 도덕적ㆍ윤리적 문제에 대해서도 사이버 공간에서의 도덕적 담론을 통해 상호주관적인 인정에 입각한 합의를 바탕으로 해결방안을 찾아나갈 수 있게 된다. 나아가서 이러한 시사점을 토대로 우리는 도덕수업에 이를 적용할 수 있는데, 교실수업의 연장선상에서 CMC를 이용하여 교사와 학생이 평등한 상황에서 활발한 도덕적 담론을 개진함으로써 교실수업을 보완할 수 있을 것이다. Jurgen Habermas emphasizes the ideal dialogue situation thar he should be premised for a discourse accomplishment, and he says a specific condition of ideal dialogue situation. Investigator examined CMC's characteristics, are based on moral discourse in cyber space on the confines of interactivity, synchronism and asynchronism, the solution of spacial limitation, anonymity anddecentering will be contributed to a specific condition of ideal dialogue situation affirmatively. And I investigated CMC's characteristics will fulfill a specific condition of ideal dialogue situation. The first conditions are satisfied with synchronism and asynchronism, the solution of spacial limitation, decentering. The second conditions are satisfied with interactivity, decentering. The third conditions are satisfied with anonymity. The Final conditions are satisfied with interactivity. I examined whether CMC's characteristics are based on moral discourse in cyber space can satisfy a specific condition of ideal dialogue situation that Jurgen Habermas should be premised for discourse accomplishment. So We could confirm that it meets the requirements, Therefore, we can look for solutions that are based on consensus by intersubjective recognition about moralㆍethical problems thar surrounding our life through moral discourse in cyber space. Also, We can apply to moral class on the basis of these solutions, and will be able to complement a classroom that teachers and students state lively moral discourse in equal situation.
