        계산 그리드를 위한 효율적인 작업 스케줄링 정책

        본 논문은 그리드 환경에서 동적계획법을 위한 새로운 스케줄링 정책을 제안한다. 이 스케줄링 정책의 특징은 동적 테이블의 지역성을 고려하여 테이블을 분할하고, 네트워크 지연이 최소인 노드에 작업을 할당함으로써 작업의 실행시간을 단축하는 것이다. 또한 최적의 병행성을 얻기 위해 분산 하향식으로 동적 테이블을 구성한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 그리드 스케줄링 정책이 그리드 환경의 성능 향상 면에서 기존의 분기-한정(branch-bound) 알고리즘에 비해 더 효과적임을 보인다. In this paper, we propose a new scheduling strategy for dynamic programming in Grid environment. The key idea of this scheme is to reduce the execution time of a job by dividing the dynamic table based on the locality of table and allocating jobs to nodes which minimize network latency. This scheme obtains optimal concurrency by constructing the dynamic table using a distributed top-down method. Through simulation, we show that the proposed Grid strategy improves the performance of Grid environment compared to previous branch-bound strategies.

      • GIS를 이용한 염전 적지분석에 관한 연구

        오늘날 GIS의 기술 발달로 부통산의 공간정보 조작이 용이해 지고 있으며, 이는 합리적 부동산정책 의사결정을 할 수 있는 환경을 제공해 주고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구에서는 2008년 천일염의 식품으로 인정과 2011년 일본 원전사고로 인한 천일염 수요 증가 이후 안정적인 생산기반 인허가 조성과 친환경적인 식품으로서의 안정성을 확보하기 위한 노력이 필요해졌다. 또한 자연기후에 대한 의존성이 큰 천일염전의 양질의 천일염을 생산하기 위한 최적 조건 등의 자료 축적과 입지 요소들에 대한 충분한 연구가 펼요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 염전 부동산의 발전에 초점을 맞추어 지형요인 및 기후요인 등 입지요인과 고품질 천일염 생산과의 신뢰성을 점검하고, GIS를 이용하여 염전 적지를 분석하는 절차 및 방법 개발을 통하여 염전 입지선별 기초 자료로 활용하는데 있다. Today, advanced GIS technology facilitates operations of the spatial information of real estate, and helps provide the optimal decision-making real estate policies. In the circumstances, it is required that we develop fundamental systems for the sustainable production of saltern and securing safety as environment-friendly food in accordance with the classification of salt as food and growing demand due to the Japanese nuclear power plant accident. In addition, the real estate policy and the research on site factors of saltern which relies on natural climate are greatly necessary. The object of this study focused on saltern development is to research the link for salt production between location factors of saltern and climate. At the same rime, take advantage of basic Information for making saltern standards geographically through the development of procedures and methods in suitableland analysis using GIS(Geographical Information System).

      • 화학물질들의 면역독성 모니터링을 위한 THP-1 수지상세포주 활용

        Alternative test methods have been developed for various areas of toxicologic evaluation including skin sensitization or irritation, eye irritation, genotoxicity, or carcinogenicity. Whereas, alternative test method, especially based on in vitro approach, for screening immunotoxic substances was not actively challenged and therein, no test guideline has not been officialized internationally. THP-1 dendritic cell line was chosen for developing in vitro alternative test method for screening immunotoxic chemical or medicinal substances. Regarding major pathway for immune suppression or non-specific immune enhancement, antigen presenting cell is considered as most important target immune cells. Two test substances representing immune-enhancement(ribavirin) or immune-suppression (cyclophosphamide) were tested whether production of cytokines or chemokines is differentially modulated through supplementation of 0.01x, 0.1x, and 0.5x 75% cell viability(CV75) concentration of those compounds. Cell culture supernatants were collected at 24 h after the activation with 1 ㎍/㎖ lipopolysaccharide. Relative cytokine production levels (% versus each vehicle control, RCPL) were calculated. Production of all 27 cytokines evaluated was confirmed, which included IL-1β, IL-1ra, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-7,IL-8, IL-9,IL-10, IL-12, IL-13, IL-15, IL-17, Eatoxin, FGF basic, G-CSF, GM-CSF, IFNγ, IP-10, MCP-1, PDGF-BB, MIP-1α, MIP-1β, RANTES, TNFα, VEGF. Treatment of ribavirin demonstrated all the RCPL values over 100% at 0.01x and 0.1x CV75 concentration. Treatment of cyclosphosphamide demonstrated the RCPL values below 100%except IL-12(0.01x), IL-13(0.1x), MCP-1(0.01x), TNFα (0.01x, 0.1x, and 0.5x), and VEGF(0.01x, 0.1x, and 0.5x). This findings suggest that THP-1 cell line is a valuable cell line to develop an in vitro alternative test method for screening immunotoxic chemical substances.

        Endotoxin in dust generated at agricultural environments is known to contribute to occurrence of farmer’s lung. Iimmunological markers related with respiratory allergy was evaluated for bovine husbandry workers, and compared with the age-sex matched non - agricultural subjects. Peripheral bloods were collected from 6 workers at 3 bovine farms, and 14 control subjects. Peripheral mononuclear cells were stimulated with phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate and ionomycin for 72 hours. Level of various cytokines produced at culture supernatants was determined using commercially available ELISA kit. Plasma levels of IgE and IgG subclass were determined. Concentration of inhalable and respirable particulate matter in indoor of the bovine farms was evaluated, and endotoxin level in the dust was measured by Limulus Amebocyte Lysate Kinetic QCL method. Level of endotoxin in the inhalable dust was approximately 154 EU/m<sup>3</sup>, and 9 EU/m<sup>3</sup> in the respirable dust. Plasma IgG4 level, a humoral indicator for allergic propensity, was higher in the milk cow farmers tan the control. Ratio (interferon - γ vs interleukin-4 or intrleukin-13), indicating immunologic skewedness against allergic reactivities, was lower at the milk cow workers compared with those of control subjects. Even though sufficient number of bovine husbandry workers and farms were not investigated, this study suggests in general that immunological function of milk cow farm workers exposed to high level of endotoxin could be modulated toward allergic reactivities.
