베이지안 네트워크에 기반한 스마트 홈에서의 상황인식 기법개발

본 논문은 스마트 홈에서 베이지안 네트워크에 기반을 둔 보편성을 가지는 상황인식 시스템의 구현방법을 제안한다. 상호정보를 사용하여 베이지안 네트워크의 구조 학습을 하고, 보다 효율적인 데이터 처리를 위해서 퍼지 클러스터링을 사용하는 방법을 도입한다. 마지막으로 시뮬레이터를 통하여 자료 취득 및 상황인식의 결과를 보인다.
피드백효과를 이용한 영상표현의 연구 - 개인전 ‘빛으로부터’를 중심으로 -

빛을 이용한 조형예술의 새로운 표현방법 제안을 위해 태양빛을 실내공간에 도입한 피드백효과를 연구하 였다. 빛의 속성을 이용한 조형표현의 사례를 살펴보고 개인전시회 ‘빛으로부터’를 통해 빛의 피드백작용 에 의한 독창적인 조형표현을 구체적으로 제시하고자 하였다. 피드백효과에 의해 태양빛을 무한대로 증폭 시키는 실험은 빛으로 형태, 색감, 움직임을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있는 통제력을 갖추는 것에 다름 아니다. 빛이 대상을 밝히는 이차적 존재에서 사물을 구성하는 일차적인 형상 요소로 변환시키기 위해 어두운 벽 면의 구멍으로 최소한의 태양빛을 유입하고 빔프로젝트와 캠코더의 기계적 장치를 이용해 태양빛을 효율 적으로 증폭시켰다. 증폭된 빛은 다양한 영상이미지로 거듭남으로써 새로운 미적공간을 창출하였으며, 이 렇게 탄생한 빛의 공간속에서 관객의 참여로 인한 인터랙티브 효과를 체험할 수 있었다. 태양빛의 개입에 의한 피드백효과는 인공적인 영상매체의 재생기술만으로는 표현하기 어려운 독창적인 빛의 형상을 연출하 였고 태양빛과 영상매체의 피드백효과를 이용한 조형연구가 새로운 영역의 조형표현으로 정착될 수 있음 을 확인할 수 있었다. This research is a study of feedback effect for a proposal to suggest a new way of presenting art that use luminous sources, by adopting sunlight as the new source of media. After researching various cases which uses light as the source of presentation, and with my solo exhibition From Light, I attempted to propose a detailed and a unique way of presenting light by using the feedback effect. This experiment of infinitely amplifying sunlight by the way of feedback effect is no different from having complete and flexible control over form, color and movement of light. In transforming light from the secondary existence—a source of brightening an object—to primary existence—a source that is the form and the object itself—the sunlight was brought into the space with a very small hole, and amplified with the mechanical aid of a camcorder and a beam projector. Thus, the sunlight was reborn into different and various visual images, creating a new aesthetical space. And in this newly created space, the viewers were able to experience the interactive effects of light. The feedback effect gained from this experiment allowed visualizing the unique properties of light which is usually difficult to express with artificial video projections, and also validated that this artistic research using sunlight and the feedback effect of visual media could become a foundation for a new domain of art.

This study investigated the logic behind the formation process of political orientation in Korea by revisiting Thorstein Veblen's social Darwinism perspective, according to which the highest and lowest income groups keep their conservativeness longer than other groups either willingly or passively. In order to prove his theory, this study borrowed a dataset from the World Values Survey (WVS) and applied several regression models. As a result, conservativeness decreased as level of income increased; however, the extent to which conservative orientation decreases became smaller. It meant that Veblen's theory has well fitted into Korean society. Based on the results, this study diagnosed current circumstance of Korean society having suffered from serious social and political polarization. It concluded that the polarization happened due mainly to the time gap among individuals to capitulate to the pressure of change which the present age requires accepting, and finally provided appropriate stance to address the problem.
무상원조 신규 프로젝트 예비검토를 위한 스크리닝 방안 고찰 : 다기준분석(MCA)의 단순부가가중치법(SAW) 활용을 중심으로

Multi Criteria Analysis (MCA) or Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is a decision analysis method that evaluates several conflicting criteria as part of the decision making process. MCA can be used for projects where the criteria cannot be easily quantified due to its uneconomic value. MCA is similar to cost-benefit analysis, but is not limited to currency units for comparison. There is no limit to setting the criteria, and the criteria are generally weighted and valued. A weighted criterion is assigned a weighted score (MCI) in a standardized format in the performance (impact) matrix to determine the ranking of project alternatives. As the scale of official development assistance (ODA) in Korea expands, the number of new ODA projects is greatly increasing every year. In this respect, it is important to find and select projects efficiently in line with the government's ODA policies and strategies. However, since more than 40 grant ODA project implementation agencies are selecting new ODA projects (especially candidate projects for preliminary survey) according to their own separate internal standards and procedures without a quantitatively measurable evaluation system, it is necessary to establish a fairer and more transparent project selection process. In this paper, the use of multi-criteria analysis (MCA) technique is suggested as a simple method to secure fairness and transparency in the process of project identification and screening. In particular, a simple pilot proposal is presented using the Simple Additive Weighting Method (SAW) model, which is one of the multi-criteria analysis (MCA) techniques, for the screening work to select a candidate project for preliminary survey. According to the SAW structure, project evaluation criteria and weights are applied to make a project performance matrix for a country, and the final weighted score is calculated to derive the priority of the project.
