초음파을 이용한 Flexural Beam의 진동에 관한 특성

Recently, practical scope of optical elements broadens considerably such as the optical communication, the optical instrument and electronic products. Also, demands of optical components are growing due to increase of productivity. Object transport systems are driven typically by the magnetic field and the conveyer belt. However, conventional transport systems are not adequate for transportation of optical elements and semiconductors. Because conveyor belts can damage precision optical elements by the contact force and magnetic systems can destroy the inner structure of semiconductor by the magnetic field. In this paper, the levitation transport system using ultrasonic wave is developed for transporting precision elements without damages. This transport system is using 2-mode ultrasonic wave excitation and modes shapes of flexural beam are evaluated by the theoretical analysis.
NITINOL을 이용한 차동식 액츄에이터의 설계에 관한 연구

In the recent years, as the research and the development of micro and precision machinery become active, the interest of micro actuators using SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) has been increased. The dynamic characteristic analysis of SMA is necessary for actuator application and many common researches report the material characteristics of SMA sufficiently. However, the research on dynamic characteristics is very deficient. In this paper, the helical spring are fabricated with NiTi SMA wire of high resistivity. The force, response speed, temperature, and displacement are measured by digital force gauge, infrared thermometer, and laser displacement sensor so that the dynamic characteristics of this SMA is analyzed. Also, bidirectional actuator was fabricated and experimented for its performance.

The slide rail is the latest device driven by rectilinear reciprocating motion. It is used for the great deal of fields with the progress of high technology in these days: for example, telecommunication device, measurement device, copy machine, refrigerator, car, office furniture and wood furniture, etc., But it is very difficult to produce the press mold that has a. forming of narrow thickness, straight quality and high accuracy. Recently Roll forming technique is used to fabricate the slide rail. To evaluate the characteristics of each path shape is not easy because the roll forming passes the sheet metal in the continuously arranged multistage roll stands. In this paper, Roll forming simulation is performed to make U-channel using SHARP-RF. Longitudinal strain and total effective strain are evaluated. In addition, Bowing and Camber which is one of the several defects are measured.

In general, manufacturing error originated in bad material, machine tool defection, tool defection, and tool breakage. When the manufacturing process is stable, the error is come from the tool wear. In common on-machine measurement, teaching probe and touch sensor are widely used, however in this thesis the automatic tool compensation system using electric touch point measuring system is developed and evaluated, and effective operating is proposed.

In recent years, precision positioning stage is demanded for some industrial fields such as semi-conductor lithography, ultra precision machining, and fabricating of nano structure. In this research, precision multi-axis positioning stage, which consists of pzt actuator, flexure, and capacitance gauge, is designed and developed. The performance of 3-axis positioning, characteristics of motion and resolution are verified.

In recent days, as the efficiency of electronic home applications become higher, that of the driving AC motor become higher. On this reason, the demand for high capacity coil forming machine is increasing. Since the coil forming is not simply related with the only capacity of hydraulic cylinder, the development of a newer coil forming machine which has new forming mechanism, new driving method, new forming tool, and new specification is required. In this paper, the virtual prototype which have new mechanism is developed. This prototype is tested and experimented on PC with the same condition as actual. The results from the virtual experiment is applied to the actual design process.

In the semiconductor and the optical industry a new transport system which can replace the conventional sliding system is required. These systems are driven by magnetic field and conveyer belt. The magnetic field damages semiconductor and contact force scratches the optical lens. The ultrasonic wave driven system can solve these problem. In this paper, the object transport system using the excitation of ultrasonic wave is proposed. The experiments for finding the optimal excitation frequency, finding phase-difference between two ultrasonic wave generators are. performed. The relationship of transporting speed according to the change of flexural beam shape is verified and the system performance for practical use is evaluated.

In multi-purpose lathe, the design of tilting turret slide system has an important and critical role to enhance accuracy of the machining process. Tilting turret unit is traveled by 3-axis slide systems. There is a need to design this part very carefully. In this research, 3-axis sliding system with tilting turret is modeled by considering the element dividing, material proprties, and boundary conditions using MSC/PATRAN. Mode and frequency analysis of each structures such as saddle, careg, and turret are simulated by MSC/NASTRAN, for the purpose of developing the effective design. The results of mode analysis and frequency analysis are visualized with PATRAN, and the mothod which can solve the resornance problem by eigenvalues and eigenvectors of each axe is developed as well.
